What is the difference between flitt and firelizards?

Fire lizards and flitts are the same thing c: They go by either name really They can't talk like dragons do but communicate to their bonded through images Hopefully that helps~

What Akki said is right. They also go by flitters. They Impress to the first person who sends kind and loving feelings their way and feeds them when they Hatch. We don't know if they Re-Impress when their handler dies because they vanish and we think they are much like dragons in the sense that they die when their bondeds die or they become wild.

Firelizards is a term used in the English pern books (i believe) and Flitts is in the american? I believe that's the only difference. They're the exact same creature.

Flitt I've only seen referred to on games and forums, Firelizard in the books. Maybe I got the English versions. XD
