Wolf looked down at her feet before looking to Akki shyly. "Thank-you Akki," she replied to Akki's compliment. "Serinth says thank-you too," Wolf chuckled. Serinth nodded her headed, noticing that a moment of some-sort was being shared between her Rider's brother and the girl... Akki. She watched intently, listening to what was being said. No, she wasn't a nosy little dragonet, not at all.
Wolf was shocked, Ersith was a she Admin's Note:[/hr] Akki was happy about this! R'xis was happy about-wait... Was there something going on between them? Wolf pushed down all jealousy, not one for it. She looked away from the two, giving them there privacy. How's your hide, I'm expecting it needs oiling? Wolf sent to Serinth curiously. Then you suspect right mine the Gold crooned. I'm trying not to complain but its very itchy. It will be soon enough love, I promise. Wolf was so affectionate/loving toward Serinth, how couldn't she be? The little Gold is 'exactly' what she had 'always' wanted. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
R'xis was disappointed for a second upon realizing that Akki hadn't heard him correctly. The thought of having to announce Ersith's feminism twice was very daunting. Then, as it keyed into the girl, he 'phewed.' R'xis hugged Akki again. He held back a very strong urge to ah...Oh shards he wanted to kiss her so badly! His gaze flickered to her lips every now and then, chuckling or looking elsewhere quickly thereafter each time so that she couldn't figure him out. "Yes, we best be going," he sighed. He deeply regretted those words, still wanting to kiss her. He wondered if he did, would she pull back? She hadn't last time... Would kissing her again be too sudden. He stood there now, staring at her, completely frozen. Its like you'd need to take a torch to thaw the poor-guy out. Once breaking his little daydream-of how his kissing Akki would pan out- he motioned Ersith away to the direction of the Weyrling Barracks.
R'xis waved a good-bye to Akki, almost off of the hatching sands (same with the female Brown). Good-bye Ebbeth, it was nice to meet you, she chuckled. Already a fondness was growing for the Blue. Not only because she found him to be interesting but because she could feel how deeply her Rider felt for his own. Wolf was also waving good-bye to Akki before the two of them left for the Weyrling Barracks. R'xis took a moment to watch his sister go before racing back to Akki. He had sent to Ersith to stay where she was not too far away from where Akki still stood. "Come with me," he told her, grabbing her hand. "I can't bare the thought of having to leave from your side again," he told her boldly. He couldn't tell thus far if his attempt at charming her had been a failure. "Please, please, don't make me beg." He took a step closer to her, his breathing light as there bodies practically touched. "I'm willing to beg," he smirked, "if you like begging I mean." Ersith watched the pair, eyes whirring that of amusement. Is there something important I should know about them? she asked Ebbeth, even though the answer was as clear as day. She already knew it, she just wanted to see if the Blue had picked up on it too. The one thing she wasn't sure of was Akki's feelings. She hated the thought of her Rider being severely hurt emotionally. Or better yet... Does your Rider feel something for Mine?

Akki grinned as she heard Wolf say that Serinth thanked her for the compliment and then made 'Shoo' gestures with her hand and said, "Go off you two, Serinth's hide must be itchy and Rhia will have me hung from my toes if you two miss out on her lesson. Now go.". She tucked some hair behind her ear and winked at Wolf before turning back to R'xis.
She rolled her eyes, with a grin of course, and said, "You know I only send you off because Ersith's hide is probably killing the poor dear. Other wise I'd gladly let you stay here with Ebbeth and myself.". And it was a pleasure to meet you gender confused Ersith Ebbeth said happily, liking the female brown already. Akki watched them walk towards the Weyrling Barracks for their lesson, which Akki hoped they hadn't missed or if they had someone would teach it to them quickly so they wouldn't fall behind, before turning to her medium sized blue to talk to him, mostly about today's events.
"Interesting outcomes. Mutants galore, another gold, and a female brown." She said with a tiny chuckle. Interesting outcomes indeed Ebbeth said, agreeing with his rider. She felt hand on her own and turned around, only to come face to face with R'xis. Confusion broke across her face as she was about to ask him what he was doing back here before she listened to his ramble. She laughed and looked at R'xis in the eyes and said, "Silly R'xis. You're missing your lesson, the feast is near, can't you wait a bit longer? You need to oil Ersith, let her sleep. We have the entire feast to talk. Are you that impatient? Go, and we shall talk our mouths off and put our dragons to sleep with out endless chatter.". She smiled at him, and shooed him towards the barracks with her hands. "Make sure he gets there this time Ersith." She said to the pretty brown with a wink.
Know about? Other than the fact our riders are hopelessly falling for each other? Ebbeth said to Ersith with a dragonic grin and a mental chuckle. He looked at their riders and said, Isn't the answer obvious? Yes, yes, I think she does He lowered his head towards Ersith and said in a hushed tone, Want me to help you whisk your rider away? That way you can get oiled and look even prettier for the feast, then everyone can marvel at your shiny hide

Ersith's hide was beginning to itch indeed but she didn't say a thing for her Rider's sake. Ebbeth's 'good-bye' comment of her being gender confused set her to chuckling. This one took nothing offensively. Yes, it is quite obvious although I'm not quite understanding how serious things are Ersith blinked. At Ebbeth's comment of her beauty she crooned, enjoying any compliment she could get from him. If he doesn't come soon then I'd love your help, she grinned cutely. R'xis looked back at Ersith, feeling somewhat ashamed. "Yes...I'll go, I'll go!" He started laughing. He knew he needed to take care of Ersith but he couldn't help trying to make Akki his first priority. He took a few steps forward again, pondering of how she had said they would have plenty of time to talk at the feast. "Plenty of time to talk," he then said stopping. "B-but, you know-" he broke off. "Ummm..." He quickly ran back to her, resting one hand on her cheek as he kissed her passionately. He then grinned, looking just as pleased as when he had impressed Ersith. He touched her hair for a second, then started blushing. Turning around he raced off for the Weyrling Barracks. You know Mine you- Ersith was cut off, a smirk up on her face as she did her best to keep up with her Rider. Don't say a word Ersith, don't say a word. R'xis was a pretty good judge at determining the face's of others. Ersith's mental voice and the expression on her face had given away her teasing-nature in which she was about to heavily use upon him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As Wolf Storm stepped into the Weyrling Barracks she looked about curiously. She spotted Rhia, heading up to her slowly. "Sorry I'm late I had some things to...Well anyways, I'm not too sure what to be doing or where to go. I know that makes me seem incompetent and all, I can be... incompetent I mean." Wolf stared at the Weyrling Master, glad that she was so nice or else she figured she may have got a scolding. Perhaps she still would? I'm sure everything will be fine. Do they even scold Goldriders? Serinth asked before realizing how self-centered that sounded. Wolf immediately knelt down to Serinth's eye-level. No, no. We'll not have that. I've made it my duty to make you a Gold without obsessive pride. I'm sorry WolfMine, I hadn't meant for it to come out quite like that... Serinth was obviously disheartened now, the last thing she wanted was for Wolf to be up set with her. Hey, hey! I'm the one who's sorry, I hadn't meant to make you up set. I just want to start a new generation of sorts, you know? Golds who... Wolf took a moment to ponder her words carefully. Golds who don't have such large egos, not that you do. Perhaps a Gold that can make all the other colors of the Weyr marvel because she treats them with such consideration. Wolf shrugged. From what I can tell the Golds that are here aren't all as bad as that Mine... are they? No... Wolf smacked her own forehead. I just want you to know to be friendly to everyone, that's all. I'm not saying any of the Golds that are at this Weyr 'are' like that its just that I want to make sure you won't be the 'typical' Gold stereotype. That's okay Mine, I impressed to you after all so that must mean something. Plus I could never be the 'typical'-type that you speak of. I wouldn't want to treat others badly, ever. Serinth looked directly into Wolf's eyes. "I know, and I love you for that." Wolf flung her arms around the small Gold's neck. Serinth's eyes whirred a blue of happiness, feeling extremely close to her Rider. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
R'xis raced into the Weyrling Barracks, out of breath because he had got his emotions all in a stir. He coughed a few times, standing up straight. The boy headed straight for Rhia to receive his instructions on where he should be. "Hello, sorry I'm late." He looked over to Wolf, kneeling on the ground in front of Serinth. He flashed her a smirk before turning back to the Weyrling Master. I would like you and I to be good friends since Yours and Mine are siblings. Ersith sent this to Serinth before speaking to R'xis. Can I start complaining now? My hide is really starting to itch. Ersith snorted, looking to Rhia, then to R'xis. I'm really sorry, seriously. I just didn't want to miss a chance to... say good-bye to Akki. Properly. A smirk reappeared on Ersith's face. I would call that more then just a 'casual' good-bye, wouldn't you? she said ever so teasingly. I have my right not to answer that, he said while trying to keep any look of glee at remembering that moment off his face so Ersith wouldn't automatically assume he was reliving that moment in his head. He was though.

She rolled her eyes as R'xis began to leave again and Ebbeth grinned back at Ersith, casting a wink at the small brown. "He never gives up does he?" She said with a snort, turning back to the blue before being interrupted one more time. She wasn't exactly expecting R'xis to come back, and kiss her that was for sure but she laughed as he went off, this time actually heading towards the barracks. She turned back to Ebbeth, climbed up on him and cooed, "Ooo, R'xis is going to have trouble with the whole no romance thing for Weyrlings, won't he?". And as Ebbeth lept off the ground and glided into the sky, he laughed loudly. "Now come on then. I have to find something nice to wear, and you need to look decent for the feast." She said, patting the blue hide as Ebbeth flew towards their weyr. Yes, I can't be upstaged by all the new dragons can I?
Hasima has long finished oiling Rimith, it was easy since the dragon was so small, and was waiting to see what Rhia said about her borrowing some nice clothes when Wolf and R'xis came in. She smiled, a small smile of course, as they apologized for being late. She hoped they wouldn't be scolded, after all everyone was quite excited for everything that was happening and some were bound to be late. Rimith, sleepy and oiled, let curiousity over power her desire to sleep and hobbled over to Serinth and Ersith, inspecting them before cooing happily Hello

Rhia sighed when the sibling pair entered. "You are late. Goldrider or no Wolf you are not excused. Actually you are doubly in the wrong because Queenriders are supposed to set an example for the rest of the weyr. R'xis you aren't going to get off the hook either."
She turned to K'lor and Hasima. "Hold on one second while I show these two how to oil their dragons." She went into the Barracks and gave a short demonstration on how to oil dragon hide. "If you don't oil it properly it will crack and when they go /between/ it can kill them. You will report to me an hour early tomorrow to make up the lesson and receive your punishment for being late. When I told you to come you should have come. " Her voice was stern.
Then the brownrider smiled. "Hurry and oil your dragons. The rest of the W'lings have already taken care of their dragons. Your dragonets will have less time to sleep. Hurry but be thorough. Then get dressed. Wolf your things should be near the front. R'xis, your belongings will be a few cots down because Ersith is a brown. Be ready in an hour like the rest of the w'lings. We go to the feast as a group."

Hali nodded to Hasima as a greeting. Her eyes turned to two new Weyrlings that walked up late. She waited patiently for Rhia to finish up with the two that were late. She gave sympathetic looks to both the gold-rider and brown-rider as they were reprimanded by the the Weyrlingmaster.

Rhia thought of one last thing before she left. "If you need Gather clothes come find me. Mneith will be waiting to bring you to my weyr if you need to." The brownrider returned to her dragon. "Sorry for that you two. Let's go and get you some Gather clothes while your dragons sleep."

Hali nodded. She turned around a knelt down to eye-level with Orylith. Can you go back to the barracks by yourself? That way you can sleep and I can still get some gather clothing. Okay? She spoke to the very small green.
Of course Halimine. I can take care of myself all on my own. She said stubbornly. She turned around and took three steps before stopping. There were many different ways she could go. She turned her head back to Hali with pleading eyes.
Hali chuckled. The one on the right. Your bed is all the way on the end. She explained with a smile. She watched Orylith turn around and disappear into the male weyrling barracks. She stood up and turned back to Rhia.

Hasima nodded slowly and looked down at Rimith. Do you mind if I go off with them to get proper clothes? That way you can sleep. I can stay if you want though. Rimith opened her jaw and yawned quietly before replying, Go, I can find our spot easily enough I think. Besides, you wouldn't want to stay. You'd be watching me sleep and that's all. And with that said the small yellow hobbled towards her destination, sleep slowly taking over her body. Hasima watched as Rimith dissapeared from her sight before turning to Rhia, like K'lor did.

Rhia told the two to hold on after they were settled on the brown, Hasima in front of her and K'lor behind her. She slipped an arm around the younger dragonrider and gave Mneith the signal to launch. The brown leapt straight into the air, careful not to snap his riders' necks backward and then pumped his large wings until he reached the height he wanted. He glided smoothly onto his ledge. Rhia helped the W'lings down and then went to a chest full of clothes in the corner of her spacious weyr.
"Take your pick ((describe what you find)). If you want to keep them then you will just have to earn the two marks they cost doing odd jobs around the weyr until they are paid. It is cheaper than you would pay at a Gather and if you can't pay but need the clothes let me know and I will work something out with you."

Hasima couldn't help closing her eyes as Mneith lurged into the air. Her body stiffened slightly and sub conciously she wondered if this would happen when she flew with Rimith, if she would have the same reaction. She hoped not, she really wanted to get over it. Hopefully she would too. She relaxed as she felt the large brown land on a hard surface, and gladly accepted Rhia's offer to help her down. "Thanks." She said softly to the brown rider.
She shuffled over to the chest, and looked over the clothes before pulling out a dress. It was long, but not long enough to drag across the ground and pciked dust and dirt up. And it was a soft blue, one that would clash, in a good way, with her black hair and pale skin. At the bottom of the dress, there was a bit of silver embroidery, not much but enough to be noticeable. It was simple, that was for sure, but that was okay. She liked simple things, simple things rarely changed. Or if they did, not by much. It would either be a bit big on her, or a bit tight since it wasn't made for her but that was okay. "Would I be able to borrow this one? I don't have to though. In case someone else wanted to wear it." She said, looking at the brown rider with wide eyes.

((Pernese dresses are all long))
Rhia smiled. "Look through the rest and see if you can find a prettier one if you want. Sometimes there are better ones at the bottom. This one is fine though if you want it. You can go in my bathing area and try it on of you want. Let me know if it is too big and I will pin it to make it fit." The brownrider gestured towards the curtained off area that housed the rock pool of hot water.

Ooc|| Whoops. x) Sorry about that. -Fixfix-
She looked down at the dress she had in her arm and said softly, "No thanks. I like this one. Plus I wouldn't want to ruin a pretty one, if I had to ruin a dress.". She offered the woman a smile, before heading over to her bathing area. Once there she took off her clothes, and slipped the dress on. It was a bit big in the waist, which suit her fine because that would be easier to pin. But other than that, it fit her well. She looked herself over once more before gathering her clothes and heading out of the bathing area. "It's a tiny bit big in the waist. Would you be able to fix that?" She said, biting her lip. She hoped she didn't sound rude.

Rhia looked at the girl. "You are a meek girl. I don't mean that to be offensive Hasima. Just don't be too meek and get yourself walked over. Clothes are made to be worn and who better than a dragonrider."
The brownrider already had pins ready. "Come here and let me take care of that." When the brownrider was finished the dress gathered at the girl's waist and fell gracefully down from the gathering that emphasized the girl's waist. "There you go." The brownrider went to a small chest on her desk and rummaged through it. A few moments later she returned with a hair comb painted in a pretty blue. The top of the comb was shaped as a flitt. "You can borrow this for tonight if you want." She offered the comb to the young yellowrider.

Hasima blushed but grinned slightly, and instead of apologizing for being too meek she nodded and said she'd try not to be, and would also try not to get walked over. She recalled that Akki had said something like that, and blushed even more when she supposed what they said was true. She was rather meek.
She shuffled over to where Rhia stood, pins in her hand. She stood still as the brown rider fixed the dress, not wanting to be yelled at for shuffling. And also she didn't want to be pricked by a pin. She watched as the woman pinned the dress, making it fit properly and couldn't help but admire her skills at that. If Hasima ever tried to fix a dress, she'd probably accidently end up taking the bottom half of it off. She marvelled at the comb that Rhia now offered to her and looked up at her face and said, her soft voice in awe, "Really? You'd let me borrow it for tonight?".

A giant grin broke across hasima's face, and turned so Rhia could easily place the beautiful ornament into her hair. "Thank you so much Rhia!" The girl said, expressing her large amount of gratitude. She was glad she was at DMW, not just because she Impressed to Rimith. But because here people treated her well, like an equal. Back at Ista, people didn't care enough to do that. It felt good to be treated well.

"You are welcome. I was never able to do anything with someone else's hair. I lost my baby sister and the rest of my family to the plague quite a few Turns ago. The Weyr took me in and I Impressed Mneith."
Rhia grabbed her brush and gently pulled it through Hasima's hair and then she pulled bits of the girl's hair away from her face and fastened them with the comb. The girl's face could be seen and the rest of her hair fell gracefully down from under the comb. "I have a looking glass over there. Go look at yourself. If you don't like your hair like that let me know and I can try something else. I won't be offended."

Hasima listened quietly as Rhia spoke. She had never lost a family member, she never had siblings to lose and her parents were both healthy. Well, they were when she last saw them. She couldn't even begin to imagine how hard it would be to lose one family member, she couldn't even think of losing everyone. "I'm sorry." She said quietly and honestly.
She nodded, just slightly for she didn't want to ruin her hair. She walked slowly, even more so than usual in fear of jostling it, and looked at the looking glass. She loved what Rhia did to her hair, she was so used to seeing it down, plain and simple. And now here it was, done up and looking very elegant. She turned to Rhia and gasped, "I love it!".

The brownrider smiled. "I might have lost one family but I gained another, very large family. I wouldn't trade Mneith and DMW for the world."
"You needn't worry about your hair falling and if it does it is as simple as pulling the edges around your face to the back and sticking the comb there." She laughed, grey eyes dancing. "I can show you how to do it if you have a comb or even runner ties."
