Wolf leaned back some, arms out behind herself for support. Some how, just some how, she had a feeling Jakel was hinting to wards the subject of friends as well, though she could've been totally off in her assumption. She smirked, cursing, "by the first egg, I agree with you there." 'I always feel alone...if and when I impress, that'll all change.' "I feel a warmth every time I speak of it," she chuckled, not meaning to sound cheesy. It was the truth she spoke and she knew that Jakel felt the same way. "Love's an important part of life..." she half-whispered.

Jakel nodded. "Of course. Without love there would be total chaos, everyone would probably hate each other, and the human race would come to an end. I mean, how can there be babies without love." Jakel laughed.

Wolf blushed, turning away so he may not notice. "Yeah, of course." She tried to keep herself from laughing, the mention of babies only able to ever bring on one thought. She turned back to him once the feeling in her face returned to normal, though a tingle was still within her cheeks.
She wondered if he'd change the subject, he didn't seem in the least bit uncomfortable... She simply looked up on with a smile, hoping he wouldn't think she was staring or anything preposterous like that. Though, maybe she was... just a little...

Jakel stopped laughing and looked at Wolf. "You are so quiet." He noticed and sighed. "Are you still thinking about that thing you were thinking about earlier but you don't want to tell me?" He asked accusingly but was still smiling broadly.

Wolf grabbed a hold of his arm all hyper-like, "am I?" she said in a higher voice, laughing at her behavior. She had meant it rather teasingly, normally one for hyperness and crazy fun. Its just that it had been so long... It seemed like forever ago when her and Roxis were last together and since then she had in a sense lost herself. Now, having a friend like Jakel, it was easier to find herself once again.
She frowned at his question, "really its alright... Its just that last time I was thinking about what I'm always thinking about." She breathed a little more heavily now, moving back to be seated more up on the bed.

She laughed, glad that he was here, often needing one on one time with friends. In a group of people she didn't always do so well. "Kaith was caught in flight I heard," she said, news always spreading fast in a Weyr (especially news as grand as such).
"The day of impression nears closer..." she chuckled. She rubbed her arm lightly, the numbness in her stomach still there although not as bad as it had been.

"Yeah. I heard that the bronzes were fighting each other instead of trying to catch the queen." Jakel laughed. "I also heard that there was a flight while the females were waiting at Ista, and the green was caught by an Istan dragonrider. Oh, and Myaranenth caught Kaith again, but it was close because one dragon kept trying to attack him." Jakel laughed. "Let's just say I believe it was a hectic day."

Wolf grinned widely, glad to see that the boy was truly involved in the ongoings of the Weyr and the dragonriders. It was amusing to listen to him go on about it, most often giving his opinion there after. Her grin turned to a smile.
"Yeah, sounds hectic to me," she chuckled. "There must've been such a mix of emotions, I mean... I've heard about Flights and such..." she said, obviously never having experienced it for herself.

Jakel shrugged. "I would assume so. I mean, Kaith was probably mad at them for fighting with each other, but then there was dragonlust, or something like that. I don't really know. Neither of us have really been in a flight." He chuckled.

Wolf looked to him innocently, "that I'm sure of." She brushed a lock of bangs from her eyes irritably. "I'm guessing the clutch hasn't been laid yet?" Wolf asked. She wondered if when the clutch had been laid were they aloud to go and see...
Admin's Note:[/hr] She had a feeling that Kaith might not permit it, being protective over her eggs and all. The dragonets would be simply amazing.

"Nah. The flight wasn't that long ago, but I am sure she will be clutching soon. Then again, we then have to wait for the eggs to mature and harden." He sighed. "Why don't you put your hair back or something? I am sure one of the girls has something you can use." He suggested, noticing that she was getting annoyed with her hair.

Wolf liked it down best but currently she agreed with him. "Yeah, sounds good to me," she muttered. She looked over at him, chuckling. She wasn't going to go and search for some one now, she figured if some one came then she'd ask. "I can't wait till' we can actually see the eggs!" Her smile stretched from ear to ear, so to speak, not able to get her mind off of impression day. She hoped she wasn't seeming boring to him, going on and on about one thing and one thing only.
She tried to think of a new topic-starter, although in her eyes some one would have to be crazy to not want to talk about dragons all day long. "So, if you impress... Have you ever thought about what you'll do with your life after that?" she asks him, knowing that some males were often intent on becoming part of a Wing. "After the dragonet matures and all that necessary training stuff..." Wolf smirked.

Jakel laughed as she suddenly wished for the hatching. She then asked him a question, one that made him think...very hard. "I am not really sure." Jakel admitted, his smile completely gone. "I guess I will just live here, this is my family now. I may make a trip to my home. Rub my dragon in my dad's face. Tell him I could do it, that kind of stuff." Jakel took a deep breath. He hated thinking about his father.
He then smiled broadly, once again, and turned back to Wolf. "What about you? What are you going to do? Is there anyone you are going to visit?" He asked curiously.

Wolf looks down, shaking her head lightly at his own questions.
"No... I don't really..." she began, laying back on the bed with a sounding 'ploof.' She gazed over at him, arms crossed over her stomach. "I don't have a real family to go to..."
She didn't want to bring this up, not around any one, although... From what she knew Jakel deserved an explanation by now. Besides, she had a feeling he was trustworthy. "N-not that I mind," she stuttered, eyes falling away from the boy.

"No one?" Jakel didn't believe that. He thought everyone had someone. Jakel shrugged. It didn't bother them. "I am going to go. I want to go to be able to get up early so that we can go to the lake. I will tell everyone to go." Jakel explained. He stood up and walked out the door.

Wolf got-up as he did, waving teasingly. "Bye,"she smiled.
'Glad I met him...He's really sweet-YEAH, okay, I should really get some rest too.' She let her thoughts end there as she climbed up to the top bunk but before making herself comfortable under the sheets she shyly checked to see if any others were there. Seeing that none weren't, thankfully, she stripped down to bra and underwear, folding the clean clothes and placing them at the foot of the bed. She yawned, covering her mouth with a hand before resting it part way under her head, having hit the pillow.
'Good-night all of Pern.'
