He laughed. "Sorry Kia, but Akki beat you to it, so...my unfyibng passion is now for her, NOT you." He laughed then noticed Akki ran out. "See ya." He shouted at the bluerider, and watched the green flitt leave as well.

"I suppose I should too," she said but her exit was tip-toeing. She put a finger over her mouth to represent quiet and crept up behind Akki. Slowly catching up she yelled a loud, "Boo!" She laughed though she didn't know the outcome of what happened. Tokagae came zooming in and circled around Kia. He chirped repeatedly until she motioned for him to get on her shoulder.

Akki cursed loudly, whirled around, her hand out stretched as if to attack her stalker. She dropped her arm though, inches away from her friends face, seeing that it was only Kia. "Shards Kia, you are going to kill me!" Akki gasped, scolding her friend. She thought Kia was going to stay with Jakel, not come along with her. "You going too then?" She asked, turning and walking where Rhia and the others were.

Kia took a step back when she was almost hit. "I think you have it wrong. You are going to be the death of me." She gave a laugh and nodded. "Jakel, do you want to come?" She took a couple steps fore ward and then looked down at Tokagae. He probably had not yet seen Sargon and she was oh so thankful.

She glared at her friend, mockingly of course before, huffing and looking away, speeding up a bit. When Jakel came, she sniffed, "Fine, sure.". She shrugged away his arm, pretending to be mad before she quickened her pace and went to Rhia's room, well outside of it anyways, wondering what was happening. [glow=blue,2,300]Calm Akkimine[/glow] Ebbeth instructed before she replied, How can I? Rhia has been there for me for so long, and she is the best of friend. I can't be calm right now.

"Aw, don't be like this Akki." Jakel smiled noticing Akki was unhappy about her hopeless state. "Look," He began, rubbing his messy head of hair, "the only way you can help is by not helping." He thought about what he said and continued, "I know that sounds sharding weird, but it will be easier and less stressful for those inside the weyr." He said.
~What is going on?~ He wondered. ~I am all like, philosiphical, or something like that.~ He laughed mentally, wanting to be comforting to his new friend. He knew laughing for no reason would help, she might take it the wrong way. She might think he was laughing at her.

Kia rolled her eyes. "If anyone is going to kill me it will be me." She stopped and though about that. "Oh- shards. I mean- I- err, I will be the death of both of you. Yeah, that's it," she stuttered. The Weyrling looked inside the Weyr and was surprised to see Kylath sitting and watching diligantly. "Kylath-" she started, wondering why the dragon had stayed. "Kylath, why did she stay?" She was talking to Akki and Jakel.

Jakel laughed at the copper rider's words. He then heard the girl's question. "Something about duty to Kath ((yes mispelled wrong because he said it wrong)) or something." He mumbled not really sure what was going on with the whole duty thing.

Rhia bit down on the cloth again, pulling it away when the contraction finished. The blood coming from her lip seemed to have stopped and that was a good thing. She waited for Nike to answer her question. She wondered if the Healer Whiterider would even answer her question.

Akki slumped down onto the ground, picking at her fingers as she waited and probably would wait for a while more. It was weird, being only able to wait, it made her feel helpless and vulnerable. Rhia was her friend, they met a long time ago or at least it seemed so. If something happened now...well, she didn't even want to think about it.

Nike snapped out of her trance.
"Oh, I'm fine Rhia." She said, getting a smile out. A fake one, but a smile.
She hated doing labors. Hated them. Only if she was really needed would she help.
Dragonhealing was more of her thing.
She sighed, and shook her head.
What is wrong Mine? Came Ruanth's worried voice.
I can't do a labor. Unless I am doing a C-section, I can't do it. I think I will just help out, and let the other Healers do it. After all, I really am a Dragon surgeon. Nike replied as she stood by the table that was set up.
Do what you wish. But I think Rhia would like you to help out. She trusts you more than the other Healers.
I know. I will help. Thanks for you help, love.
I will always be here.
Nike walked up to the other healers. She whispered in their ears, and they nodded.
Then they set to work with Rhia, while Nike stood there to help.
There were enough Healers for humans in the Weyr.
Dark Moon needed two Dragonhealers.

Rhia looked confused when Nike went over to the other healers. Even though another healer came forward and started issuing orders she still looked to Nike. "What is wrong Nike?" Her voice was serious. "If something is wrong with me or the twins I think I have a right to know." She didn't realize that Nike was just uncomfortable with healing humans.
Rhia dug her fingernails into her palm, sweat breaking out on her pale brow. Mneith tried to push closer to his rider, his eyes were whirling at dizzying speeds with the colors of worry and alarm. The brown hovered his wedge-shaped head over his beloved rider's bed.
Everything will be fine Rhia-mine.
"I know Mneith." She told her dragon, her voice tight.

Siarath relized that Rhia was extremely worried now. "Don't fret. These healers know what to do. They are just as good as Nike." Nira smiled to comfort the brownrider. She understood that the bond with Nike was stronger than with the other healers. She too felt that connection with the healer. If she went in labor she would also want Nike's support.
Nira began to hide her thoughts from Siarath, but the dragon was snoozing. Yet, she hadn't gone into labor yet. She didn't even have a weyrmate for Siarath hadn't flown. Why hadn't the green flown. She was three years old now. The green should have flown by now, but she hadn't. She should have flown last year, but she hadn't. Was something wrong with Siarath? Nira wasn't sure.
Her eyes turned to look at Nike, but did her best to hide her worry. Rhia was in labor, and she didn't want to worry the brownrider. Nira could wait. She was ask Nike once the labor thing was over.

Nike shook her head. "Nothing's wrong Rhia." She sighed then walked up to Rhia.
"Nothing is wrong with either you, or the twins. It's just that I'm not the greatest at healing humans.
So, I'm going to go towards Dragonhealing. I'm better at it than with humans."
The Healer got up took a step forward, stopped, then turned back to Rhia.
"And Rhia, if something was wrong with you, do you think I would hide it from you?"
At this, Nike walked away towards the table, letting the question stay with the brown rider.
Green eyes noticed Nira's worry. Something had to be up.
So the whiterider walked up beside the greenrider.
"Is there something wrong?" She asked.
If Siarath was awake, she could ask the green, but she wasn't.

Nira looked up as Nike came over. SHe let out a sigh for she thought she was hiding her worry but she obviously failed at this. "I...well...we can talk later." SHe whispered. The last thing she wanted to do now was worry Rhia or anyone else. Everyone had enough to worry about with Rhia's labor of twins. Now that she thought about it. It would be a miracle if all three of them survived, including Rhia herself.
