Rhia looked up when D'ran came in. "That's quite alright. I am glad for the company. It makes me feel loved."

When Aureth asked if she was ok she smiled. "I am.." She cut short a cry of pain and curled into a ball again, as much of a ball as her bulging belly would permit. When the contraction finished she finished her statement. "fine."

[Tenma]

"A copper mutant? That is sharding cool." He laughed for no apparant reason, he did that a lot. He turned to Akki." I think we should be getting back to the pregnant woman now? She might be thirsty." Jakel pointed out.

[Miki]

Kia shook her head. She actually knew what to do next- well, sort of. Her mother had taught her as her mother was expecting a baby. "We need a towel and, shards, I don't remember if it's cold or warm water." She held her head, messing up her hair even more as she squeezed her temples in frustration.

[Spirithawk]

"I think we will need towels, more than one. I am having twins. Normally for healing they use warm water to kill infection. It has to be boiled. I remember that much from helping runners give birth back at my old hold." Rhia was suprised that she was as calm as she was.

[Tenma]

Nira sat at Rhia's side. "Where are those two with the water? They could be helping out?" Nira worried.
~Siarath, please tell Ebbeth to tell Akki to get herself and that new boy back here.~ Nira asked the green.

Of course, mine. Siarath replied. Tell Akki to get herself and that new boy back here Siarath told Ebbeth, using the same exact words that her mine used.

"Miya, please be helpful, go get some towels." Nira ordered the queen.

"One day we will be ordering you." Miya protested.

"Untill then, go get some towels." Nira was in no mood to argue with the ignorent queenrider.

Miya mumbled and walked out of the room. Reinath followed at hr heals.

Don't worry mine, one day, we shall be the leaders. The queen explained, holding her head up high.

[Miki]

Kylath nodded. [shadow=red,left,300]Miya, I think my Mine is getting towels. I will tell her what we need.[/shadow] Kylath did just that, relaying what she heard to Kia. The girl nodded. "Okay, we need a lot of towels. Some we will need to soak in hot water and then we need water for her to drink."

[Akki]

"You are right." She said, quickly heading off once more before turning to the boy and said, "Always look at the bright things at night, for that's when they are hiding among the shadows.". [glow=blue,2,300]You are dawdling![/glow] Ebbeth pointed out as Akki cursed, grabbed a cup of water and hurried back towards Rhia.

[Tenma]

Miya stopped. "There, we don't need towels, Kia is getting them" Miya said, glad she didn't have to follow Nira's orders to get them.

"Well we still need hot water. Go fetch that, boil it up." Nira comanded.

Miya mumbled.

I don't want to follow the orders of a greenrider. The queenrider is bad enough. Reinath snorted.

~Yeah~ Miya agreed. ~But Christae is stuck in bed and the wman is having a baby. Let's just do it for the baby.~ Miya said as she began to heat up the water.

"Whatever you say, Akki, I think it is." Jakel said and followed Akki,

"Good, you are here with the water." Nira sighed, glad that something was getting done.

[Akki]

"Did you have doubts?" Akki asked as she went beside Rhia, holding the glass out so she could grab it. "Did I miss anything? You missed many things, including my wonderful advice to Jakel here. You must hear one day, truly. I was going to give more advice but Ebbeth scolded me for being late." She said with a crooked smile, as she flicked away a piece of blond hair that fell in her face.

K'dan awoke suddenly to the bellowing brown. Mine it is Mneith. K'dan hopped to his feet and rushed to her. He knew G'han was away at another weyr but had he returned was his question. He would know when he got there. He went into the weyr and noticed he wasn't there but noticed pretty much the whole weyr was at Rhia's side. It was then that it truely dawned on him how much of a family and how close this weyr was. He went to Rhia's side. "Is there anything I can do for you?", he asked hoping he wouldn't be useless. He looked around to notice that Nike wasn't there as well. "Where are any of the healers?", he asked to all.

[Akki]

"Finally choosing to awake and come K'dan?" Akki asked, grinning ear to ear at him. "Some of the dragons are searching for Nike as we speak but we can only hope they find her swiftly, if Ebbeth finds her I'll know." She said with a shrug as she looked down on her friend. Now all they could do was wait, and wait they shall.

[Dragon]

"Not much of a choice when you wake up to what I did. So has anyone seen G'han?", he said to Akki.

Rhia accepted the cup of water gratefully. She drank thirstily. "Thanks. I have a feeling that Miya doesn't like being ordered around." Rhia smirked.

"Hey K'dan." She said when the young bluerider came in. "No, G'han isn't back yet. It's gonna be his hide if he doesn't return soon. Someone get word to Kaith. She can bespeak Gerenanth and get him home."

[Dragon]

K'dan looked over at Rhia. "Don't worry I am sure he will be here in time. He wouldn't miss seeing his own babies born. All he's been able to talk about lately is you and the babies", he said to comfort her. He hoped he would get here soon. If only he and Hydrath could fly, then they could search for him, atleast then he could be useful and do something.

[Spirithawk]

Rhia smiled. "Thank you for the reassurance K'dan. I don't know what I would do without you guys. You are all so supportive."

She fell silent for a few moments and then thought of something. "Oh, if you need to you can start a fire in my hearth to boil water from my bathing pool. I also have a brazier in the corner with fresh coals if you need to keep the water warm."

[Dragon]

K'dan did what she suggested and began building a fire and heating the water. He looked around still wondering where G'han might be, he could only hope his bronzerider friend was on his way.

[Tenma]

Miya walked back into the room carying a bucket of water. "Don't bother, I got it." Miya grmbled as she placed the bucket of boiled water onto the ground.

Yes it is hot. Reinath added.

~That is normally what happens when you boil water.~ Miya snorted.

[Akki]

Akki grinned at Rhias comment about Miya. No, Reinath and Miya probably did not enjoy being bosses around, but they would have to get used to it sooner or later. Ebbeth, any contact to G'han or Nike? Akki asked her large blue who replied a negative.

[Miki]

Kia went all over before finally finding a substancial amount of towels. Each was soft and white, nice to the touch and pleasing to the eyes. Kia doubted they would be like this after the ordeal. It didn't much matter anyway.

The Weyrling ran briskly, kicking up quite a bit of dirt with each step. Her face seemed to melt as she felt the uncomfortable feeling of the dirt between her toes. She had not put on shoes. Just a bit back was her Weyr but... should she go? No! She needed to help Rhia.

The girl jogged into the Weyr. Kylath, happy to see her bonded, twisted around. The Copper's shining tail swung across Kia's feet to the girl's misfortune. She tripped over but kept tight hold of the towel. Her chin banged against the "cushions" but she did not go completely unharmed. She had bit her tongue, hard. Blood leaked into her mouth but she still handed the towles to Nira.

[Tenma]

Nira took the towels and sighed. "Are you all right Kia. You two must be more careful." She said looking as the blood leaked from the girl's mouth. "Remember at the hatching feast? We almost had two whites." Nira told the copper and rider. She had left but the news traveled to Siarath, who in turn told Nira.
