Lina chirped angrily at Usanlee before going between. Nira smiled but continued to work.

G'han looked at the headwoman. "You are talking about Rhia. This girl is one of the most stubborn people here. Me telling her to go back to bed isn't going to work. Trust me I have tried these past few seven days but she seems to get more stubborn by the day", he said to her. Gerenanth laughed at his rider's reply. This is true, Rhia can challenge even G'han here in stubborness. The two of them are quite funny really. Gerenanth let all hear what he said. G'han gave a smirk as his dragon mentioned Rhia's stubborness and his.

Rhia laughed at Gerenanth. "Hey, we aren't that funny." She paused and then looked at the Headwoman.
"Nike said that I could do light work. I won't be bending down or anything, I just can't take being cooped up in my weyr anymore. I still have a month left of my term. Inactivity is killing me. I should be training with the other riders but I can't. I won't risk the babies' lives but I can't stay in my weyr."
"I won't push myself. That is why the flitts are helping. I will just catch the fruit they gather and if something is dropped I will get someone else to pick it up or one of the flitts."

Oh yes you two are very funny. "So are you. You little upstart", G'han said. Gerenanth snorted at those words. G'han gave a smile knowing the bronze didn't like the nickname he had gotten. "If either of you want you can try to make her go to bed but I'm telling you that is no simple task", he said to them and continued working.

Nira laughed at the argument but then the words hit her. "Only a month left Rhia? Alrady?" Nira said shocked. "You really should get back to bed then, even if you are hating it." Nira put everything down and gave a light push on Rhia's shoulders. "Trust me, once the babies decide to be born, well you definately won't be bored." Nira laughed, knowing how much work it was to care for little babues. ~Even more work then it was to care for you when you were a hatchling.~ Nira joked. I am going to pretend you never said that. Siarath said simply.

Rhia sighed in exasperation. She looked at the determined faces around her and shrugged. "I was just trying to help." The young brownrider sighed again and then set her basket down. "Very well then. I shall return to the Weyr. Have fun." She tried to hide her disappointment. She was more than tired of being fussed at to rest, rest, rest. She was never given any peace from the moment she stepped out of her weyr until she finally gave in and retreated. She turned and walked away slowly. She reached the weyr and turned to the Lower Caverns to get something to drink.
............................
G'han knew Rhia was dissapointed about not being able to help. He would normally be the one saying go rest but now he felt bad for her. "I know Rhia is pregnant but I think she is getting lonely and all she wanted to do was help and be with her friends and her weyrmate. Was that too much to ask? I could have kept a good eye on her", G'han said dissapointed at the two. He sent Azure to go to Rhia, hoping that would give her some comfort and let her know he wasn't against her coming. Azure flew to her and landed on her shoulder and chirped at her.

Nira watched Rhia walk away with dissapointment, and she too sighed. THen G'han spoke up. "Don't even start it, you were telling her to rest to." Nira sighed and went back to working. Lina popped in from between and nestled on Nira's shoulder. She rubbed her small, golden cheek against Nira's cheek.

G'han heard Nira but didn't respond. He felt bad for his weyrmate. True he had been telling her to rest but now he realized how she might feel about that. As caring as it was, she might feel that they wanted to get rid of her. After he finished he would go see her.

Rhia reached up to pet the little blue flitt. Gylfie chirped at her jealously and Rhia laughed and scratched her little silver-green flitt's eye ridges. She turned and shot G'han a grateful smile before she continued walking to the Lower Caverns.

G'han smiled back at her. ~Gerenanth when I am done tell Rhia I will meet her to have a meal with her. I should really spend more time with her than spend more time worrying about her~, he said to his dragon. Gerenanth relayed G'han's thoughts word for word to Rhia.

The young drudge called Hela watched the exchange between the riders with wide eyes. She had once been the youngest daughter of a holder. She had ran away and come to work as a drudge in the Weyr. She would never complain about her station. She prefered being a drudge in the weyr to a drudge in her own home. Uslanee treated them better anyway. She had been working in the weyr since she was 11 turns old. Now she was 15 turns old and was happy with her station. Uslanee had asked her to come and work today.
She hurriedly turned back to her work when another drudge bore down on her and started fussing her for being lazy. She was picking berries from the bushes. She remembered that the brownrider had said that she wouldn't bend down. Hela wondered what it would be like to not have to work because you were pregnant. She then remembered the brownrider's face and thought better of it. She looked tired and bored, and besides, Hela did not want to lose her shapely figure.
((this is just a fictional charry that will go to npcdom after...i am just bored and want to rp))

"Buro," Uslanee called, "Could you come over here and help G'han with the herbs for a moment while I deal with berries?" She switched places with the older drudge and went to speak with Hela while bringing an empty basket for the berries. "You shouldn't let him boss you around like that. That's my job." She grinned at the girl, placing the new basket near the first and taking up the full one. "When you've finished with this basket, that will be quite enough berries. Come to me when you're done, and I'll give you something else to do."
Uslanee lugged the basket heavy with blue berries to a spot where the dragons would be picking up the loads. "Nira, we'll need your Siarath soon. This pile is growing."

"Yes, Ma'am" Nira smiled. ~Siarath come here, we are ready for you.~ Nira told the green. Coming. Siarath hobbled through the trees, since it was a bit too thick to fly. She could barely walked up to them.

Hela nodded when Uslanee told her not to let the other drudge boss her. "Sorry m'am. I am just used to taking orders." She nodded to show she understood when the Headwoman told her about the berries.
Hela set to work with vigor, glad to be out of the hot kitchen. Her basket was soon filled and she carried the full basket over to where the dragons were picking up loads. Then she went to find the Headwoman.
"M'am, I am finished with the berries. What else do you need me to do?" Her tone was respectful. She was eager to work next to dragonriders to help their weyr.

G'han couldn't wait to get back to Rhia. "I wonder if we are anywhere close to being done", he wondered out loud not realizing he said it aloud.

Uslanee gave a stern look at G'han and said pointedly, "We'll be done sooner if you come help to load these baskets onto our patient, waiting Siarath." She patted Siarath's side affectionately and took notice of the girl, Hela. "You can also help place these baskets into harness," she replied kindly, taking one herself and strapping it on.

G'han helped load the baskets onto Siarath until there were no more. He stretched and stood up straight.

Siarath crooned as Usanlee complimented her. Nira climbed onto the green's back. "Is that all?" She asked curiously, wondering if they should leave or not. She didn't want to leave to early but didn't want to keep everyone waiting.

Hela rushed to help Uslanee and the dragonriders load up the green dragon. She was excited to be helping the people that had taken her in and given her a home and work after she had fled her own hold.
