Hydrath relayed the message and K'dan spoke up, "I'll go with you". He stood up and Hydrath came to stand by him, the two waited for Nike.

Nike smiled and led the way out of the Lounge, and then out into the Weyr Bowl. "So what did you want to talk about?" She asked as she held the book in her hands. Zim and Crystal were on her shoulders, and Ruanth was close to her side.

K'dan followed her out. Sharan flew over to Hydrath and landed on him as he followed K'dan. "I just wanted to tell you that.........I still want to be friends and that I'de hate to lose you", that was the best he could utter out. He wasn't the best at telling someone how he felt or describing his feelings but he hoped maybe he got out what he wanted to say. He looked up at her and waited for her response.

Nike smiled and then stoped. "Of course we will still be friends. You won't lose me. Unless of course I die of some really nasty sickness. Which is rare." The Healer shook her head then gave K'dan a hug. "I'm sorry what I did." She said then released him.

K'dan flinched when Nike spoke of her death. "No it's ok. I understand, you aren't ready. Truth be told I am sure I am not ready either. It's just.............", he trailed off. Hydrath nudged him to continue. "It's just your the first girl I've truely liked", he finally spit out. He took her hug happily and said to her, "Just don't worry about it". He felt relieved knowing he had her friendship still. "Well shall we continue on. You still have a book to return", he said jokingly to her.

D'ran stopped playing soon. He just felt very uncomfortable. The Harper silently listened to the others speak. [glow=blue,2,300]Why don't you come with her?[/glow]~I think she meant to be alone. Besides, I would rather just go to my barrack.~ [glow=blue,2,300]You are being so childish. I know that both of them still enjoy your friendship.[/glow]~It is not that, Aureth, it is weird.~ Aureth mumbled something about him being silly but he did not quite catch it and didn't really plan to.

Nike smiled. "Well good. Even though Tirith had flown once, I am still not ready." She said starting forwawrd then stopped at K'dan's words. "Well, now that makes me feel really bad, K'dan. Now I think Ruanth and I might have to run away into the mountians and train until she mature." When she said this, a grin formed on her lips. "That might be a good idea. I mean, Ruanth is after all, kind of a runt. Sorry, love. And when she is done growing she will be around twenty feet long. That's small." She said thoughtfully, then shook her head. "Well you are right K'dan. Let us head on and feel the wrath of Master healer Malreal!" She said going forward. Ruanth following happily.

"I made you feel bad? Sorry", he said apologizing. Maybe he shouldn't have said what he said. Expressing himself, telling someone about his feelings just made him uncomfortable and uneasy. "No you don't have to go train in the mountains. Then everyone would miss you, including me", he continued. Hydrath followed next to Ruanth.

"Oh it's okay K'dan. Don't be sorry." Nike said as she entered the Caverens. "Well that is great to be missed. But I may have to do so. I know that Sh'iron and Christae will not let me ride Ruanth until she is of full length. Which I think it will take around three to four Turns, that's just till I can ride her! Not even going /between./ And I doubt they'll let her take firestone for another few Turns. So, yes, I may have to go away for awhile." The healer said with a sigh.

K'dan sighed. Nike was one of the closest friends he had here and she might go away. Well then that just meant he would have to make the most with the time he had with her. He smiled as they went to the lower caverns.

As soon as Nike entered a loud voice boomed across the Caverens. "Give me back my book you filfthy theif!" The voice said. Nike flinched and turned around to face a young man in Healer colors.
He was in his late twenties, tall, and handsome. Dark hair was carefully combed in his head. Dark eyes, long eyelashes, and dark skin. He had long hands, and a gaze that could make anyone fall to the ground. Malreal walked up to Nike and K'dan with his gaze ferice. "Give it to me now!" He said, holding out his hand for it.
Nike smiled slightly, and handed him the leather bound book. "Sorry, Malreal. I was going to ask, but since you were so busy I decied not too." She said, with a totally fake smile.
"Liar!" Malreal sneered then walked away. As he headed towards the living quarters, Nike caught him looking over the book for any mark of some kind.
"Well that was Malreal." Nike said with a smile.

K'dan jumped when he heard a voice. He turned to see the one Nike was talking about. He looked over to Nike, "Remind me to stay away from him if at all possible". He grabbed some food and klah and sat down. He waited for Nike to join him.

D'ran took a deep breath, sort of relieved to be alone. [glow=blue,2,300]Now what's wrong?[/glow]~I find it best I make some new friends. Nike and K'dan ought to be the best of friends with each other and it is not my intentions to intrude.~ [glow=blue,2,300]Shut up, Mine, you are being stupid.[/glow]~I have every right to feel the way I do. You can continue to play with Ruanth and i will just make friends with the other weyrling or perhaps some riders. Now if it alright with you, I will be training.~ His words were harsh and meant to be that way. Aureth put his fore legs up and knocked D'ran back in his chair. [glow=blue,2,300]It is not alright with me! Next time you see the two you will join them![/glow]~I'll join them in a round of hello's and nothing more!~ He stormed into his barracks and did small sorts of training. Aureth sat with a dumb face, defeated. [glow=blue,2,300]Mine...[/glow]He started but did not finish, he had nothing more to say- nothing to say at all.

Miya noticed that the blue pushed D'ran back. "Looks like you got yourself a little dragon with an attitude." She said borridly. Reinath simply yawned.

Nike laughed. "I'll make sure." She said then grabed a bowl of meat for Ruanth and took a seat next to K'dan. "So how has training been with G'han?" The Healer asked when Ruanth's eating slowed slightly. Zim landed on the table with Crystal.

"It's been tough but he says I'm doing good. We have had less time to train but that just means I train harder", he said. "And you? How have you been lately? I know I haven't been talking to you recently", he paused then continued, "Sorry about that". "Hydrath are you hungry?", he asked the dragon. No thank you. I am perfectly fine. The blue said in a happy tone.

Aureth slolwy walked in to D'ran's barracks, his shoulders drooped. He dragged his paws as he walked. ~Let's go eat something.~ Aureth nodded and continued walking in this fashion. D'ran's knuckles had reddened. He had been doing puch-ups and had, unknowingly, started doing them on his knuckles.
The Harper walked into the Caverns. He grabbed a bit for himself and some meat for Aureth. The Blue would be hunting for himself but it would not hurt to give him a snack. He sat away and Aureth was beside him. The Blue had long since figured out how to not choke by eating too much and could eat by himself.
