Chilling at the beach

[nike]

Nike still sat on the rock, then all the firelizards went /between/ at Ruanth's command.
"Yeah right Akki. Kia and I cheated." The healer rolled her eyes then dove into the water.
Soon she was sitting next to K'dan.
She shook him awake, then grinned.
"You sleep too much." Nike said.

[Dragon]

"Mnph", K'dan mumbled as he awoke. He looked at Nike who shook him awake and smiled. "I think I tried to hard to win the race", he said to her then laid his head back and closed his eyes, though he didn't fall asleep and kept the smile on his face.

[nike]

Nike smiled.
Then leaned down close to him.
Smiling she put her lips close to his ear.
"Don't fall asleep." She said loudly then sat up straight and turned to look at the lake.

[Dragon]

K'dan jumped up in suprise. He wasn't asleep but he wasn't expecting that. "You are wrong", he said as he rubbed his ear. He picked her up and dunked her in the lake and dove in with her. He poked his head out from under the water and gave a mischivous smile.

Nike laughed when he jumped.
"I am never wrong!" She said, then when he picked her up, she gave a little scream.
Getting even wetter(if that was possible) when he dove under with her, she glared at him.
Her dark red hair was over her face so she flung it back behind her.
"Oh I am going to get you!" She said with her own mischivous smile.

[Dragon]

K'dan smiled and said, "Oh really?". He dove underwater and swam away but soon began to tire. He still hadn't fully recovered from the race. Tying with G'han was no simple task. He popped up gasping for air. He swam back to shore to get his breath back.

[Miki]

D'ran came in a lousy last place.
"If they cheated does that mean I get second place instead of last," he asked hopefully.
He was at least as strong if not stronger then K'dan but the other Weyrling was built in a smaller and thinner way then D'ran was.
He did not have the right build at all for this.
He was much more likely to win a running race.

[nike]

"Yes really." Nike said. She let him swim away, and grinned when he swam towards the shore.
When he stopped she lunged at him, and tackled him.
As the rolled around and laughed.
"Told you!"

[Dragon]

K'dan smiled and pounced on top of her and began tickeling her. "I can be ruthless as well", he said as he had her pinned, tickeling her.

Nike smiled up at K'dan then started giggling when he started tickling her.
"Stop!" She said, but didn't mind him doing so.
One thing Nike hated about herself, she was very tickleish. Everywhere.

[Dragon]

K'dan tickeled her some more after she said stop then quit. He rolled from on top of her and sprawled out on the shore.

Nike sighed when he rolled off of her.
"You are too mean, K'dan." She said in a mock-mean tone.
The Healer laughed and turned her head to look at him.

[Spirithawk]

Rhia woke a few minutes later and carefully rose as to not disturb G'han. Gylfie raised her little silver-green head and chirped, flying up to land on her mistress's sand covered shoulder. Rhia wandered over to the picnic basket and made herself a sandwich with cold meat and a roll.

She sat down next to where Christae was stretched out sleeping and ate. After that she watched Nike and her flitt friends. She chuckled when K'dan threw the Healer into the water. She rose and sprinted to the water, diving in with a splash. Mneith came to join her, swimming past his bonded. Rhia noticed that K'dan and Nike were now on shore and Nike was being unmercifully tickled. Rhia dove underwater, performing lazy spirals and enjoying the coolness after the heat of the sun.

She swam back to shore and picked up some sand. She walked past Nike and K'dan as if she was going back to the picnic basket but then she turned and dumped sand onto K'dan, knowing it would stick to his skin. "That is for taking my weyrmate's attention." She said, mockingly jealous. Her eyes danced with amusement as she picked up another handful. "I should...but I won't." She dropped it. Mneith came to the shallows and snorted. He whipped his tail in the water, throwing seawater all over his rider and the two near her.

[Dragon]

"you weren't the one who's ears were ringing thanks to a shout in the ear", he said to her. When Rhia dumped sand on him it got in his mouth. He sat up and spit some out. "Ack, sand doesn't taste good", he said aloud. He mock glared at Rhia and shook some of the sand off of him. He laid back down and put his head closer to Nike but was soon overwhelmed by a wave Mneith sent. He spit out water and laid back down putting his head back where it was.

D'ran grinned when Nike said K'dan was mean.
He walked up to her and kneeled down.
"You think he's mean-" he broke off and scooped Nike up.
He really was getting stronger.
With all his stregnth, D'ran threw Nike into the water.
He laughed for all to hear.

[Dragon]

K'dan smiled when D'ran threw Nike in the water. He got up and figured if he had to help Nike otherwise she might fuss at him for it. K'dan was getting stronger too thanks to G'han's training, though he was a bit worn after that race. With the strength he could muster he threw D'ran in the water as well. He slumped back laying on the ground again.

[Miki]

"Wrong," he said with a wide grin.
He jumped out of the water and pulled K'dan up from the boy's arms.
It was, of course, not done without a struggle but he managed.
The Harper then went on to push the Weyrking into the water.
"Ha," he yelled.

[Dragon]

K'dan popped his head out of the water. He went over to D'ran and dunked him underwater. "Ha that", he said.

[Miki]

D'ran dunked him back with a laugh and swam away.
he passed by Nike and dunked her in too.
"You will all bow before me," he said jokingly.

[Dragon]

"Wanna bet", he said and swam over to him and dunked him under. Exhaustion getting to him again, he swam back to shore to rest for a bit. Now he would have to catch his breath as he was breathing pretty hard.
