Now Ebbeth was getting bored of this, and decided to do something. Lazily, he flicked his tail causing a small wave to crash over Akki and Kia and said [glow=blue,2,300]You are both losers, and I don't mean just at races. There, settled.[/glow] Akki coughed and spluttered, "Ebbeth, you're the loser! We were debating, and you ruined it.".

She swam up and tried to grab onto his tail.

Ebbeth smiled and lowered his head to look at Kia and stated simply, [glow=blue,2,300]Go ahead and try. Mind you, if you hold one for more than the time limit I'll flip you over.[/glow] Akki rolled her eyes, just like her blue to become annoying. "I bet Kylath is nothing like this."Akki muttered, Kia didn't know how lucky she was she thought with laughter.

Akki raised an eyebrow as Ebbeth snorted. Kia was right though, she didn't know much of Kylath but then again her friend didn't much about Ebbeth so she supposed there were even. [glow=blue,2,300]Kylath, tell me about yourself[/glow]Ebbeth asked, as he watched Kia fall into the water in an exaggerated faint.

Kylath looked up at Ebbeth.

"Oh hush, Kylath. It isn't any of your bussiness, Ebbeth," she said.
The Weyrling pointed accusingly at him, one eye half-closed.

After being slammed unexpectedly by copper Kylath, Amparath was glad that she was distracted. He literally laid low in the water, watching Ebbeth and Kylath.
T'rin by this time was asleep, floating gently on his back in the water.

Kia shot her head back to see T'rin lazily floating.
She first turned to Ebbeth.
"Go ahead and try," she said, tauntingly swaying her finger.
She snickered and dove under the water.
Kylath huffed at Ebbeth.

Ebbeth said nothing to Kylath, turning his head away making it obvious that was indeed the way he was going to be. Akki rolled her eyes, she had to get the annoying dragon didn't she? Ebbeth lowered his head near Kia's head and opened his mouth, as if considering whether to snap it up or not, or if it would fill his appetite which he truly doubted, but still...

G'han and K'dan stared at Kia and Akki as they argued and looked at each other and laughed a bit. K'dan looked over to Nike, "So you are racing too. Oh well that's it we all have lost and I believe you can even beat G'han". He nudged his friend in the side when he G'han. K'dan did a few stretches to make him loose and limber for the race. Stretches that G'han taught him to do before something like this. Afterwards he jumped in the water and waited for the race to begin.
G'han laughed, "Yes I believe Nike will beat us all and to make it interesting I say we go with underwater racing like last time. Let's see if last time will repeat it's self or not. G'han did some stretches as well and hopped in the water. "If everyone is ready I say we get this race started", G'han said.

Kia rose from the water and listened to K'dan.
"Maybe Nike will get second place. You forget that I could have beat you. G'han. You should not underestimate me again. I even have still been swimming to keep me good at it," she said proudly.
She floated on her back again.

"Perhaps but I still believe our healer friend here will show us up. Maybe if I am lucky I will get third", he said with a smile. G'han looked at the two he had been training. He would hope that they would give him a run for his money. He had great confidence that they would do good. To him it was not only fun but another way to train the two.

"Maybe if I am lucky I won't get dead last, though probably not. I am not very lucky."Akki said with a shrug as she slipped her head under the water before bobbing back up. The problem with an underwater race was the chance of her coughing and swallowing water again, making her breach the surface and that was something she rather not have to experience again.

Rhia had shook her fist at her dragon and then went to recline in the sun. Gylfie curled up near her as Mneith swam around in the water.

Christae had fallen asleep near the lunch basket. Kaith teased her mate and darted off.

"I don't know Akki. You might manage to beat a few of us. If you think you are going to lose then you will lose", he said to her. Getting a bit bored he said, "Is everyone ready?". Azure flew over to Rhia and curled up next to her and Gylfie and went to sleep.
K'dan wanted to hurry up and get this over with. He knew he wasn't going to win. Sure he was raised near the ocean and was a good swimmer but there were others who had that advantage and others. G'han he knew he wouldn't beat. Last time proved that but then again he had gotten better but still. Nike he was sure would win and Kia was also a good swimmer and managed to tie with G'han. He sighed as he laid on his back and floated waiting for the race to begin.

Nike nodded and grinned.
"Yes I am ready." She said. "How about we go from the diving rock, to the Weyr wall, and back?"
The Healer offered, pointing to each part. The way she lined it up, no one would be able to really cheat.

K'dan was ready. He stood when he heard his name and got ready to race.

"I suppose I am."She said with a shurg as she stretched her arms quickly as she got ready. Adrenaline pumped through her, she loved the thrill of races even though she came last most of the times. "Sounds good to me."Akki said to Nike.
