Since the rumour started a fight, she didn't want to spread it so this seemed simpler. She heard Ebbeth's snort of amusement but she ignored him and said, "Why? What did you think was the problem?"

G'han looked at Akki. K'dan was leaving and apparently didn't hear her. "I hope it wasn't about him. K'dan doesn't normally cause trouble and doesn't like trouble", G'han said to Akki. He was still a bit confused about everything but hoped that it was Akki joking around as usual

She looked at G'han and shooked her head and said, "Do you really think something this big would happen over that?". There was another reason she didn't say the truth, she was worried the news would be a shock to him, for she always thought he liked Nike. And if that was the truth there was no way she was going to tell him!

"Ok. Well you never know so I thought it wise to make sure", he said to her. Sharan continued chasing Azure andmade him bump into G'han's head as he was taking another sip of klah. He spit it out of his mouth then glared at the two. He looked away and took another meatroll and scarfed it down. I see your eating habits have not changed. His dragon said for everyone to hear. "And I notice your habits are worse than mine", he said. The dragon huffed and grew silent. G'han snickered his victory.

Akki grinned as she heard Gerenanth's words but said nothing, sipping at her tea. It always amused her what some dragons said to their mines. She watched G'hans flitts before saying, " I guess it was wise...ish. Tell Gerenanth not to worry because I think his habits are better.". [glow=blue,2,300]I don't[/glow] Ebbeth snickered.

Miya sighed and whistled. Both Karie and Tonu popped into the room from between at almost the same time. Miya stroked Tonu, realizing the brown was still a bit shooken up. She rolled up a peice of paper and tied it to Karie's leg. She sent images to Karie and the green went between. This was the easiest way of communication at the moment since Reinath was still asleep.
Karie popped out of between and flapped her green wings. She perched on T'rin's free shoulder and stuck out her leg, so the bronze rider could remove the paper ties to her leg. She chirped, wishing to return back to Miya.

"Since you are so sure in that. I will allow you the pleasure of cleaning him after the next time he hunts", G'han said to her. He was joking of course. I like this blue rider. She is nice. He said it to where Akki could hear. G'han rolled his eyes. "Arrogant bronze that is because she is complimenting you and that goes to your head and you know it isn't true because you are a messy dragon", he said to his bronze.

"That's good, Akki, dear, I'm sure he's not mad at you permanently." Uslanee said. "Besides, you know how bronzeriders tend to have tempers." She grinned. "Not that he's your typical bronzerider, that boy." She winked at the girls in the group, a mischievous twinkle having found a home in her eyes.
T'rin was surprised when he felt the bronze firelizard land on his shoulder. Micra warbled cautiously at first, then urgently. T'rin looked up from his spot in the hallway outside the kitchens to see the little bronze holding out his leg, which had been attached to what was obviously a message. He untied the string, scratched the firelizard's eyeridges in thanks, and opened the note.

((Ahhh I have been using Karie, but it is supposed to be Kalie. And by the way T'rin she is a green not a bronze.))
Kalie chirped happily and went between back to Miya. "Thankyou little one." Miya said scratching the greens eyesridges. The note read:
Dear T'rin. Sorry I blew up at you. I know it wasn't your fault. I hope you can forgive me. Can I meet you tonight, in the weyrbowl? From, Miya.
((I will make the board later, or tomorrow if he excepts.))

((Whoops, sorry. *mutters* Too many firelizards in this thread... lol))
The little green popped out and T'rin read the note. He had to reread it to believe it. Miya? Apologizing? Asking to meet him in the Weyrbowl? It was difficult to believe, but in his amazement his anger cooled and he decided to go back to the kitchens to apologize to the other riders.
He entered, head a little bowed. He hesitated, but Micra scolded him until he opened his mouth. "I'm sorry for yelling at all of you. Gossip makes me uncomfortable and I was trying not to show it. I shouldn't have taken it out on you, Akki, and I shouldn't have yelled at the rest of you, either." He sighed. "May I sit down?" To Miya, he held up the note slightly and nodded.
Uslanee grinned and gave a look to Akki that said, "I told you." She then deposited a small plate of scrap meat on the table for the firelizards, and a larger plate of fruits and berries for the riders. "Maybe this will tide us all over until suppertime, hmm?"

Kalie popped in a dropped another note on T'rins lap and left. This one read:
You better meet me their because I will be their no matter what and I don't want to be there forever.
Miya felt she had to send this letter because she didn't wish to make T'rin go up to her room just to say a simple 'yes' or 'no'.

K'dan shrugged and went back to the lower caverns. Oh well I guess he didn't hear me, he thought to himself. He walked in and noticed Sharan chasing Azure and smiled. Soon they were heading for him. He ducked and caught Sharan. "You are more trouble than you are worth sometimes", he said to the firelizard. Sharan hissed but perched himself on K'dan's shoulder.
G'han smiled when T'rin came back and apologized. Hopefully everything was going to settle down now. Azure flew back a bit upset that he couldn't play with the bronze anymore. He flew and rested infront of G'han on the table and G'han scrached the flitt on its head.

Since most of the people left she slumped down into a chair and crossed her arms, infuriated and said caustically to G'han, "It started because Miya was telling us something and T'rin was being all moody and silent so I tried to get him to talk and he snapped at me, so obviously I retorted. Kia's mad because she said not everyone wants to be part of my jokes but if she wasn't being idiotic then she would have realized I was just trying to get him to talk because I barely know him but of course she takes things to seriously.". Everything was going down, and as far as she could tell she would go down swinging, just like back at home. Kia had been going back to apoligize when she heard what Akki said. "I was taking things to seriously," she said calmly. She took a few steps into the Lower Caverns. "He obviously didn't want to talk. Fir crying out loud, he was ignoring the people around him. Now I agree, he was neing a little moody but enough is enough. No offense, T'rin. You had every right since according to Uslanee..." she stopped, not sure if Uslanee was supposed to keep it quiet. She sat down, turned away from the others,hunched over. The Weyrling took a mug of tea and sipped it quietly. How could she explain how she felt. It was as if she acted out of pity, not anger. Maybe er friendship with Akki would be like Akki's with Nike. The two had been the best of friends but apparently drifted apart. |

"Fine then. Next time he hunts then I will clean him."Akki replied as she happily stuck her nose up in the air. She grinned wildly at Uslanee as she listened to her words and said out loud, "Uslanee, I am very glad I know you!". She looked at T'rin, raised her hand and said, "Do not apologize T'rin. I started it by encouraging and I should have stopped at the first hint of trouble.". She glancerd back at Uslanee and replied, "This will be over hopefully before.". She glanced at Kia who was hunched over, it was hard to say sorry to her mostly because what her friend had said had stung her but then again, her own words probably hurt too and muttered under her breath, "For some of us anyways.".

G'han leaned back in his chair, "Phew. A day without cleaning Gerenanth. That's relieving to hear". I am not that bad. ~You don't have to clean yourself. You just sit there while I do~, he said back to his dragon.

Kia didn't want to fight but she was, once again, at that point where after bottling up everything, she needed to let it all out.
She just felt sorry for the people she took it out on.
The Weyrling wasn't really that mad, she was just getting ticked off by every little thing.
She took deep breaths.
It is bad that I have to let it all out at once instead of at each time she thought.

As T'rin pulled a second note off Miya's firelizard, he sighed in relief. Kia and Akki weren't really mad at him. They had just gotten carried away in the moment. He read the second note in his hand, deciding it was much more like Miya to demand his presence. Smiling to himself and thinking of her straight black hair, he pocketed both notes and turned his attention back to the table.

Akki raised her eyebrow as she watched T'rin open another note. Probably from Miya she thought. She couldn't help it now, she was curious but she knew better to ask him now. Or if she did she wouldn't say anything, but she still probably shouldn't ask so she fidgeted and played with her hair as she tried to control herself. "Oh no, no, no. Don't you see you two are a perfect match?"Akki asked, trying to act appalled at his suggestion.
