Kia scowlded Akki and then looked around.
"Are Nike, D'ran, B'kin, and K'dan still out at the Weyrbowl?
Oh, Zim flew to mate!
K'dan's flitt caught her," she said.

"No, Nira! Akki has a horrible disease and to survive she needs your insanity," kia cried.
She sat down and put her face ib her hands as if she were crying.

Akki gasped and said "Oh but Kia! I am insane enough, haven't you known me long enough to know that?". So Zim had flown once again, Nike should be pleased then! K'dans flitt caught her? Well, Nike must be very pleased Akki thought as she stifled a giggle. Ebbeth snorted, agreeing with Kylath.

Kia glared at her friend.
"well I have my own share of insanity and besides, you'll die without more," she stood and swung her arms around Akki.
She whispered for only Akki to hear, "Aren't I convincing?"
Kia took a step back and Tokagae jumped off Akki's shoulder.
He circled his bonded with a chirp here and there.

It would be very rude not to accept my gift"Akki replied, her lips stuck in a pout as she whispered back, "Two can play this game my friend!". Sargon cherped at Tokagae and snuggled close to Akkis neck, making it obvious he was protective.

We should tie her to a boulder and throw her into a tunnel so she can get eaten by tunnel snakes who will actually pick at her," she said with a grin.
Tokagae chirped witha grin and landed on her shoulder.
He swung his tail up and wrapped it around her neck.

"No, death by dragons is more poetic."Akki stated simply, cutting off any more conversation about it. Sargon hissed at Tokagae, though not in a cruel way more of a friendly but warning way, if that was possible, as he tightened his girp on his bonded. Akki, sensing what was coming, quickly grabbed Sargon's tail and loosened it, giving him a stern glare.

Malenie glared at Miya. "Well I don't care if you are the second hightest ranking person in this Weyr. Even though at this moment you are not. There is a Weyrleader, who does out rank you." She sneered. "Just go away, I really don't care."
The Candidate rested her head on her pillow and closed her eyes.

Nike came walking out of the kitchen with some things in her arms.
Fabric, furs, and other odd things. Over her forearms were arm bands.
the bands were brown leather and covered from her elbow to her hands.
It covered both her palms, and the backs of her hands, but left her thumb and fingers free.
"Hey guys!" She said as she set her things on the table. The white of her cloth for her broken bone could be seen.
"How's Malenie coming?" Nike said with a small, evil smile. "Kia what happened to your hair?" The Healer was slightly surprised. Then everything came to her. Malenie had cut Kia's hair, and these riders were plotting against the Candidate.
"If you are going to kill Malenie, I am doing it with my own blade." She said with her green eyes having a flame to them.

"We won't kill her." Christae said, "Not yet anyway. We just plan on humiliating her like she did to me and Kia. Tikka here will be so kind as to cut her hair off. She will offer haircuts for everyone in the Weyr and when Malenie comes she will get her hair chopped."

Nike sighed and snapped her fingers together. "Darn! I wanted too!" The Healer smiled at Tikka.
"Sorry, but my hair is already cut." She said as she ruffled her already messy short red hair.
"But that is a great idea."

Nira gave an akward smile for she wasn't used to being called crazy like Akki and Kia HAD to be. "Oh right, I forgot Akki, Ebbeth has no sense of humor." she told Akki, since the girl didn't really know Ebbeth to be the one telling joked. "But by your actions it seems that you have sucked any kind of fun out of the poor dragon." Nira finished recalling how different Akki and Ebbeth seemed to be. Nira never tried to be funny quickly think of clever remarks, she normally just told it the way she thought.
I wouldn't say my mine is all that odd, but your mine and Kyalth's mine, well, that is a different story." The green laughed as she listened to the conversation in the lower caverns through Nira's mind.

Miya screamed loudly in frusteration. "I ought to just have Reinath maul you right here instead of waiting for the weak hatchling to try and kill you." The goldrider shouted, clenching her fist in anger. But she would not leave, not if she was being pushed out the way she was now. Not because some rude little candidate thought they could do as they please, and to HER and HER DRAGON. Tonu launched himself off of Miya's shoulder and quickly went between in fright. "There are two ways you can get me to leave. One...you can remove me by force. Or two.." she paused, her strange grin creeping across her face. "...you enlighten me on any plans you have for any of the other weyrlings or riders." Miya waited for a reply.
I thought we hated the candidate, not wanted to learn from her. Reinath stated in confusion, but Miya didn't reply.

Tikka smiled. "I would be happy to oblige you all. There, that's you done young Weyrling." Tikka brushed off stray hair. "Weyrwoman, I take up your offer to use your flitt. I will send a message straight away. Come and watch tomorrow to see the Candidate humiliated."
Christae laughed. "I start to feel a bit guilty but then I remember that she insulted me, is after my weyrmate and cut Kia's hair short in addition to insulting her and other riders. She needs to be taught a lesson. You guys are all insane period."

"Dear, Akki, that made no sense at all," she said in reference to her "poetic" comment.
Kylath laughed at Ebbeth's protests about having a sense of humor.

Kylath glared at her rider.

I do not like that girl. Reinath said but Miya didn't reply.

Akki all of sudden felt overcome by amusement as it radiated from Ebbeth, pouring from him into her. Confused, she hastened to question him, What's so funny? [glow=blue,2,300]The gold and her mine just had a scuffle with Malenie, and Reinath doesn't seem to think hihgly of this girl[/glow] Akki raised an eyebrow, Ebbeth found this amusing? Ah, simple thing amuse simple minds she thought. If Miya had left the room, then she would probably pass them. Perhaps she would ask what she thought of Malenie.
