Kia grinned.
"I am in," she said and looked menacingly towrads the barracks.
Kylath thought for a moment and then came up with an answer.

Jesseth sighed. ~I would not eat her, I already know she’d taste bad…~ The brown dragon said starting to get a little annoyed.
R’dan grinned, ~You know he may stop if you ignore him, if that’s possible.~
"I'll help, I guess..." R'dan said. He raised an eyebrow wondering if they really do it, finally he decided that Akki was probably joking around again.

~No I have not taken a few nips~ Jesseth sighed, now he had two dragons against him… not just Ebbeth. ~And it’s not my fault she’s cranky from what I’ve heard she seems to be naturally cranky…~
“Do you really think any dragon would eat her?” R’dan asked.
~I certainly wouldn’t eat her~ Jesseth said for hopefully the last time.

"Ebbeth would. His big appetite would easily swallow her whole. And also he has no pride so it won't bother him if he gets ridiculed."Akki said, winking at R'dan. She knew Ebbeth was pestering Jesseth, so it was only fair if he got bothered about it too. She heard Ebbeth groan and voice his protests.

Christae laughed. "I would let you get the second mark. I would love to tie that girl up but I doubt Sh'iron would let." She glanced up at him. "I willl punish her severely for this though. You may count on that Kia."
Birinj landed on her arm when she raised it. Christae grabbed parchment and pulled a small bottle of ink and a quill out of her pocket. She wrote a message and tied it to the flitt's leg. "Go give this to Tikka." The flitt obliged after Christae gave the image. He returned afterwards with a short woman in his wake. "So who needs their hair cut Christae?"
The Weyrwoman gestured towards Kia. "One of the new candidates is a monster and she cut Kia's hair out of spite. If she likes I would want you to straighten it out for her so it looks half-decent. It should grow back quickly but now it is all jagged."
Tikka looked at Kia. "You poor lass. Do you want me to fix it? I could fix that Candidate's hair too if you want and I know for a fact that she wouldn't like it." Tikka's eyes gleamed with mirth. "She might find all her hair gone."

"Oh yes!! Chop all of that girl's hair off," she said happily.
She clapped her hand together and looked up, picturing it.
"Anyways, I think my hair might need to be straightned out," the Weyrling sat back down and looked happily up at her two friends.
Tokagae flew and landed on akki's shoulder.
He looked for Sargon.

Tikka whisked out her shears. "I will have this straight in a jiffy." The hairdresser snipped away. "I could arrange to chop her hair off. Sounds like she deserves it. Who is the lass anyway?"
"Nike's foster-sister from Southern Boll. She even insulted me."
"Ye don't say Weyrwoman. And a woman in your condition too. I say I offer haircuts for the entire Weyr and then when shes not looking I chop it short eh?" Christae's laugh was her only reply.
"Well. How about tomorrow. I'll get me flitts to send out messages to the people here. It's almost time for everyone to get cuts anyway."

Akki raised her finger to her mouth and said "Surely Sh'iron won't need to know, he has more important things to handle. This will be our own devious plan". Akki grinned wildly as she saw Tikka come and comment about Malenie's hair and said, "Tikka, I think I love you.". "Oi! Tokagae, ger'roff. I have my own flitt to take care of, I don't need another choking flitt anyways."She said, shaking her finger happily at the flitt as Sargon landed on the other shoulder, wrapping his tail around her neck protectively. Akki listened to Tikka and the Weyrwoman and caught the last thin that was said before raising her hands to her hair and said, "Not me! I don't need one! I love having short hair!".

"I need a hair cut myself. I will wait till tomorrow then. If you need to borrow Birinj go ahead. Now all we have to do is see if Malenie comes to get her hair trimmed."

(Wow I made it on, and sooo much to read.)
"Yeah, I know what you mean about not caring who has what dragon. I felt the same way when I first came, I only cared about my own dragon. Anyways, I am here because I heard you have a worst attitude then me. I practically drove the Weyrwoman insane, and if you are worse than me, well, let's say things will get interesting here. Anyways, I think you should watch it with the weyrwooman, she pregnant and already getting moody. "What are you two doing here?" Miya siad, turning to Kia and R'dan, annoyment filling her voice. "That dragon is so clumsy she becomes a menace." Miya accidently said aloud, as Kylath tripped while entering the room. ~Pathetic, isn't it?~ She said to her dragon, as Kia had to introduce her dragon because the copper kept falling.
Unfortuantly, she is. Reinath sighed.
"Finlly someone agrees." Miya accidently said aloud as Melanie stated that greens were of a low rank.
Maybe higher ranking than a dragon that Melanie will get but not higher ranking then me. Reinath growled at the copper.
"That dragon doesn't know anything." Miya said angrily, "Nobody here thought I would imopress, they were all ready to send me packing home. "Well I showed them when I impressed Reinath. Now I am the second highest in ranking only to the weyrwoman." Miya said mostly to herself.
Reinath raised her head, as it was mentioned how important she was.
"They are still young, B'kin, for all you know Kylath can end up being the size of a green, for she may end up haing the rank of one." Miya said to the bronze rider as he and his dragon left the room.
Ebbeth's mine has come. So has Kia and Kylath. Reinath told her mine, with dissapointment.
~Kia is back!~ Miya replied unhappily.
MIya fumed up as she was pushed out of Melanie's room.
She barged back in, Reinath staying outside. "You can't just push me out!" she shouted angrily at the candidate. "I come here to talk to someone decent, not like those others, with their pathetic dragon, and I will not let you just push me out." Miya shouted angrily. Miya simply ignored as the candidate cut Kia's hair.
Karie flew over to Melanie's fielizard and flew around the creature like crazy. "Karie, stop it! The firelizard doesn't want to play with you give it a rest." Miya said angrily. Karie and Tony drooped their head, even though Tonu wasn't in trouble, and perched themselves on Miya's shoulders.

"I told you guys Nike would win." Nira laughed as the other riders began to frown. "Do not worry Kia, you look fine with short hair, but I can't beleive that anyone, especially a candidate would do such a thing." Nira said uncomfortably. "Please don't shave you head." Nira turned to R'dan. Nira looked around nervously as the others tried to plan out tying the new candidate to a rock. "Do you guys have to kill her. Can't you just try to get her kicked out of the weyr,not something so, well, horrible as tying her to a rock and be eaten by dragons?" "If you cutmy hair it has to be a small trim. Sorry Kia, but I preffer to keep my hair." she said sympathetically.

Christae smiled. "Nira is right your hair doesn't look that bad. Nira, Tikka would cut everyone else's hair correctly BUT Malenie's." Her eyes gleamed with wicked amusement.

Tokagae out the tip of his tail, the thinnest part, around Akki's neck.
There was no other room.
He chirped a couple times to Sargon but wasn't too agressive.
Kia guessed he was finally less competetive.
"Oh, Nira, it does look horrible but I'll get over it," she said.

Nira said quietly to Christae, hoping that they wouldn't shave the girl's head to the point of baldness. ~Siarath I understand, by what others say, that the girl is awfully mean, and I do find it a shock that Melanie cut Kia's hair, but I still feel sorry for Melanie to the point of what the weyr is planning to do to the candidate.~ Nira told her dragon with a sigh.
You are too soft, mine, the candidate is rude and dangerous. Even Miya didn't dare harm others physically, that GIRL deserves what she gets. Siarath spat the end.
~Maybe, but death, I hope Akki won't get carried away.~ Nira replied worridly.
She won't Nira mine, even Akki has some sense her in head. Siarath laughed.
Nira giggled slightly but she was still worried.

"Nira, are you giggling to yourself again?"Akki asked, hearing her friend laugh slightly before continuing, "How many times do we have to tell you if you are going to go crazy do it in some corner and not in public.". She grabbed Kia by the shoulders and quickly placed her friend in front of her and said, "Kia, you are going to be my shield to hide myself from Nira's craziness. I can risk losing you". She punctuated the end of her sentence with a wink to her friend.
