G'han shrugged, it had sounded as though she didn't pay much attention to what he said. Though he wouldnt complain, she was probably just paying attention at looking at him. He kissed her back, "I missed you too". He took a sip of klah and then said, "Do you think Christae is going to give you tomorrow off. If so maybe we could spend the day together".

"I doubt that. I really shouldn't have taken today off. You have Wingleader duties and I have Wingsecond duty in addition to what Christae needs me for. Perhaps I can ask for the afternoon off. Sometimes I wish I weren't such a 'valued dragonrider" as you put it. But the Weyr needs us.

"You were going to take the day off whether you liked it or not. I guess I would have to settle with the afternoon. I just wish we could have one whole day to spend with each other. It seems like that will never be a possibility", he said with a sigh. He took another sip and looked down at his klah.

Rhia smiled sadly. "Sorry love, I am just busy. We will have some time together sooner or later." She moved her chair closer to his and slipped her hand over his. Her klah kept her other hand warm. "Sorry about my hand being cold."

"No it's ok", he said looking down at her hand. Oh how these moments were so rare now. He sighed and leaned back in his chair. He took another sip of klah and kissed her on the cheek, "Atleast we have tonight together", he said to her.

Rhia smiled. "I am glad you decided to spend time with me instead of going to sleep. It wouldn't have been fun to talk to a sleeping person." She chuckled.
After a while she rose and walked to the ledge. She looked up at the stars, her breath visible in the cold night air. Then she went back in. "So what do you want to do tonight. It is still early."

G'han raised an eyebrow then let it go. "I haven't a clue to be honest. Maybe we could go out by the lake and lay together and enjoy the calming scenery under the stars. I would suggest a nice hot bath myself but we already took one", he said a bit shivering.

She smiled and went to him. "It's too cold out to go by the lake." She wrapped her arms around him from behind. "I can warm you up"

"You always do. So what will we do then. We have a whole night to ourselves and the night is still young", he said holding her arms that were wrapped around him.

"Hmm...I am not really sure. I know a few card games." She reached down and tickled him. "Or I could just tickle you." She tickled him and then danced away.
Rhia was agile. She had to be to rider Mneith. The dragon would often twist and turn, just to see if his rider was ready for anything. She rode her runner as often as she could and her body had grown lean from hours spent in the saddle and adragonback.

Rhia laughed and kept dancing away, staying just out of reach and then darting in to tickle him and away again. Mneith watched them, his eyes whirling with amusement. It was good that his rider was happy, very good.

He gave a smile when she darted here and there. HE wasn't his agile self. He went to go catch her and he hurt his back. HE froze bent over, not being able to move. "Ow. I think the day has taken it's toll on my body", he said to her.

Rhia stopped laughing and ran to him. She carefully pulled him straight and led him to the bed. She slowly helped him down. Her grey eyes were filled with worry, not a hint of mirth was on her face. "Are you ok love?"

"I am fine. I am just a little worn thats all", he said to her. He wasn't about to ruin the only time they could spend together. "Don't let this ruin our time together", he said wanting to continue spending time and playing with her.

She sat beside him. She smiled but her eyes were still full of worry. "You are tired and here I am making you run around." Her voice was full of remorse.
She reached over and ran her fingers through his hair. "I don't want you to hurt yourself just because I am bored." She reached down and kissed his forehead.

"O hush. I want to spend time with my weyrmate", he said to her. He laid on the bed and pulled her to him and kissed her. "Give me a little bit and I will play around again. For now I just want to hold you in my arms", he said to her.

She laughed and snuggled close to him. "I am glad that you want to spend time with me. Lately things have just been so hectic that I was wondering if I even had a weyrmate. The only time I'd get to see you was when we woke up or went to bed." She looked up at him with a happy smile on her face. She touched his face, tracing her finger along his jawline.

"Ofcourse you have a weyrmate", he said with a sigh. Sometimes being a dragonrider had it's drawbacks, like not being able to spend time with your weyrmate. "We live together and sleep in the same bed yet we rarely see each other", he said shaking his head.
