Nike smiled at D'ran.
"Good I won't be alone then." The Healer grabed his wrist with her right hand and dragged him towards the Lower Caverens.
"Some of the Old Uncles scare me. I mean I am a Healer, but they do. And same with many others. But they won't try anything when you're here!" She said.
Ruanth turned after her beloved rider and trotted after her.
Follow me. She said in a leader-like tone.

D'ran looked comically at Nike.
"What makes you think I can stop them," he said grinning slightly.
He easily walked with her.
Aureth smiled and trotted next to Ruanth.

She said with a slightly smug smile.
Ruanth looked at Aureth with an odd expression.

D'ran raised his eyebrows at what Nike said.
"Uh, ok then," he said with one eye wide and the other regular.
Aureth pretended to be extremely frightened and curled up.

Miya stopped her small giggles that had started when she stopped laughing loudly. "Well for one thing, it looks really funny." Miya admitted, walking along with Akki. "And another reason is because she acted all high and mighty. Then there she is crying her life away for a silly reason like her hair got chopped off. I mean she didn't seem to care when she did it to Kia and she usedit as a threat, but when it is simply done to teach her a lesson she cries like the world is over. I just don't see what the big deal is." Miya finished.
You humans are so strange. Reinath added.
~Yeah? And you would make a strange human.~ Miya snapped.
Yeah, well you would make a strange dragon. Reinath snapped back.
~You just stole my insult~Miya accused the gold.
No I didn't. I changed human to dragon. Reinath said with ego in her voice.

"True, it does look slightly odd but I'm used to seeing long hair but hers will grow out soon to a decent length."Akki replied with a simple shrug. "It's actually not that weird. I mean when you are mad or acting like so then you would use anything to threaten the person. If I got that mad I suppose I would threaten to cut off someones hair or something but personally I rather not have my own hair cut off. If your hair was cut off that short and uneven would you cry?" She asked, stopping to hear Miya's reply. Now what she found funny was how this was the longest conversation with this girl she had ever had.

"No I wouldn't cry over cut hair. I would demand it to be even out, and even if they denied it doesn't really matter. Like you said, hair grows back. If it was pernament damage that would be different, but I still wouldn't cry." SHe said truthfully.

"Ah but Miya, there is your flaw. You can't demand anything from anyone, you will learn that soon enough. If you demaded Reinath to do something outrageous, do you think she will do it?"Akki asked. She could feel amusement pour from Ebbeth into her, he was enjoying this conversation that his mine saying, telling him everything that was happening because he asked her. This question amused him the most though, would the little gold do it because her mine asked? Probably not, Reinath probably had more pride than that but still, there was a chance.

"I don't think Reinath would listen to me because she is a queen, and that is how queens are." Miya stated simply.
Reinath growled but sayed nothing.
"Besides, just because I won't get it doesn't mean I shouldn't demand it." Miya smiled before wlaking away and heading for her baarracks.
Reinath followed on her heals.

Akki quickly walked again, catching up to Miya and Reinath before she looked at the small gold and asked, "Reinath, if you were a green would you still take demands from Miya?". She half expected a remark about ranks from Miya, but she was curious now. She felt like a stalker also now, following Miya but she shrugged that thought off.

How would I know, I am not a green. besides, why would I want to be a little green when I can be a powerful gold? Reinath snorted.
"If you were a gold we wouldn't be bonded." Miya added not considering that she could have still impressed Reinath if the queen was a green.

Akki sighed heavily, she should have known better than to ask a gold that. "Never mind."She said with a exagerrated roll of her eyes. She could hear Ebbeth snicker, knowing her failure in her question but she ignored him, or tried to anyways. She stopped and said aloud, mostly to herself, "Wait a minute, where the heck am I going?". She originally planned to go back to the Weyrbowl and now she was following Miya to...to where exactly?

Rhia sat in the chair and told Tikka that she wanted her hair just below her shoulders and layered. She also told her to thin it. The brownrider's thick mass of hair was too heavy and was giving her headaches. "Thanks Tikka." She told the hairdresser when she was finished.
"Who's next?" She asked the crowd gathered around her.

Christae sighed with relief. "Good I won't have to make a long flight to meet with the other Weyrleaders. I have not met them all yet. Shall I have Kaith send a message to our riders for a meeting tomorrow?" She yawned and then glanced down at her papers. They were in disarray. She began straightening them up, but made it clear that she was still listening to her weyrmate.

Sh'iron nodded. "Yes. That is a good time. But I better get Nike and Kia to come too. Same with Miya. She'll need to sit in on what she will be doing int he future someday." He said with a sigh.
"Plus the other Weyrleaders want to know how we are doing. The Weyrwomen are goning to come too. So we won't be able to have our Wingleaders or Wingseconds in the meeting."

"Umm, this is my barrack, Akki. Are you sleeping here tonight?" she smirked as she walked over to her bed and sat down. Reinath crawled onto the couch and yawned. Her many faceted eyes slowly closed.

Christae looked up. "We can call a meeting for all riders, weyrlings included tomorrow. We will introduce the Weyr Games and then release the Wingriders. We can speak with the Wingseconds and Wingleaders after. We can fill them in on what is happening. I know you will have to call a Wingleader meeting anyway so then we can just dismiss the Wingseconds and hold the Wingleader meeting with them all there since they will be gathered anyway. I think it is a good idea to have Nike, Miya and Kia with us for the Weyrleaders' meeting so that they know what is going on. They will have to be sworn to secrecy though. We will be able to show the other Weyrleaders our white and copper. Miya is young but I think she can handle the job of Junior Weyrwoman. I will call her in today and begin her training early."

Sh'iron said streaching, and then grinned. "Miya will be a good Junior Weyrwoman if she knows how to use her wits that she was gifited with." He knew Weyrwomen had to be strong, smart, and fight for what they believe in. Many were not like that, but most Weyrwomen were always strong.

She looked at him. "I believe so too. I don't think Reinath would have chosen Miya otherwise. I just hope that blasted pride of hers doesn't get in the way. Is there anything else you want me to do? I don't have much once I straighten up my papers."

Akki blinked and said, "Oh! So that's where we are. I got confused and only just realized that we weren't heading back to the Weyrbowl.". She flushed slightly with embarrassment, how silly of her to get confused after all she was here for a long time! She started to turn around and head out of the barrack before she something caught her attention and she turned her head over her shoulder and said jokingly, "Why Miya, are you inviting me to sleep here?". She had no idea if the girl was being sarcastic and caustic or not, but still the idea of Miya offering seemed rather odd, and funny to her. After all this was really the first time she had talked to Miya.
