Christae looked at G'han. "Oh nothing." she said, hoping to spare K'dan any more embarrassment.

"Thank you, sir," T'rin said, not knowing the man's name or rank. "I think he's a fine dragon, myself." He scratched Amparath's eyeridges affectionately, and the bronze crooned. "He'll be a large one, too."

She snorted slightly and said "Well calm down, or you are going to get me jumpy too!". [glow=teal,2,300]He is jumpy![/glow]Ebbeth said as he chortled slightly before he became quiet as Akki shushed him. "That's a lovely bronze you have T'rin and K'dan, a very lovely blue."She said as Ebbeth said [glow=teal,2,300]I think blues are your favourite of them all![/glow]

Sir? Now R’dan felt old, he laughed. He’d forgotten to introduce himself. “Sorry, I’m R’dan rider of brown Jesseth. And you don’t have to call me “Sir”, though I think that’s just because you didn’t know my name.”
~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~He is not jumpy.~ replied Ronoth his eyes whirling. He was getting tired of people bugging his mine. Ebbeth wasn’t as much of a problem as that other dragon rider that his mine kept looking over at. ~Calm down Ronoth,~ B’kin said reaching down to scratch his eyeridges. ~Ebbeth’s not a problem, his rider and I are friends, he’s just teasing.~
((I've got to go now... talk to you guys tomorrow... early release from school tomorrow, YAY ^^))

"Makes you feel old when they call you sir, doesn't it?", G'han said with a laugh, recalling being called sir. he quickly wanted to make sure it didn't happen again, "Just to let everyone know I am G'han of bronze Gerenanth...................not sir".

((Blah...I hate leaving in the middle of something! Everyone has moved on from where they were...but oh well. Here's Kaz's belated post))
K'rael grinned nervously at the weyrwoman, with a courteous nod of his head. Then he turned to T'rin with a tiny smile, eyes widening as he glanced over the little bronze. At his side, Ioneth snorted irritably, pale blue hide shimmering softly in the dim light. When his name was inquired of, the dragonet brightened, and the new Weyrling rested a hand gently on his headknob. "This is Ioneth," he mumbed with a weak gesture towards the hatchling.
The dragonet did not seem to think that this did him justice, and nosed His in the side impatiently. "Uh...this is the beautiful, talented, intelligent (or so he'd like me to believe) Ioneth," he ammended with the first real smile that had donned his features this evening. I cant believe it! You just made a joke! The hatchling was amazed. I didn't know that you had it in you. To his own surprise, K'rael chuckled...and then looked astounded, blushing, and staring at his plate. K'dan and his blue joined them, and he nodded to the other Weyrling, as well as the others who gradually entered. Was it...could it possibly be that, with more of Ioneth's influence, he could possibly become social?!

Sh'iron followed his Weyrmate out and sat down. When she was finshed he went around and started speaking with some of his Wingleaders, and the family members of the new Weyrlings. He would speak at the end of the feast.
------------------------------
Nike sat at her table, quite full. She streached back in her chair, and grinned at her friends when they started talking. "Thanks G'han!" The Weyrling said standing up. "THis is Ruanth." THe girl pointed down to the white form of her dragon. She looked down to see her little white curled up under the table with Hydrath. Don't be afriad Ruanth. These people are good. She told her white. THe little dragon lifted her head to look at her rider. I am fine down here with Hydrath. She replied.
Nike grinned at K'dan's embarrassment. No she would not add had her own Flight had been. Well it was odd. Once she and R'dan were back in their bodies, they left. But Tirith and Jesseth stayed together for a while.

Ooc: Everyone is so active here! This is a huge change for me so I'm really sorry if it takes me a while to adjust... Abriana was late (as usual) to the feast. Trailing behind her was her beauty of a green, surveying her surroundings with interest. Mine, how do you know where to go! Admin's Note:[/hr] The tunnels twist and turn and no one COULD know the way![/color] Mearath insisted. "It's not really that difficult Mearath love, all you must do is be here long enough and it will come to you," Abriana muttered, she was nervous about the feast, she didn't know a single person in the weyr. She was wearing the dress her mother had given to her as a parting gift and she had pulled her hair up with a strip of wherry hide. The olive colored dragon snorted, she didn't understand Bri's need to look her best and why it took so long. The duo entered and looking around found a corner to sit in. "Do you supposed that anyone would notice if we left?" she asked hopefully to her dragon. Why do you wish to leave? Mearath asked, not quite catching her bonded’s boredom. "Oh never mind..."

Stop hiding you scared little hatchlings! Reinath bellowed angrily at the hiding dragons. She turned to face her mine. How can they be my cluch brothers and sister, they are soo frightened that it is irritaating. The queen told her mine angrily. ~Do not fret my bonded, I understand what you mean.~ Miya shared the dragon's anger as she thought of many people she had met, including some of the people at the weyr. "I am Miya, the new Junior Weyrwoman." She introduced herself realizing that others were doing so. ...and I am Reinath the new Junior Queen of the Weyr. The queen bosted with pride, as she raised her head. Her eyes glared at the hiding dragons as she did so, she couldn't understand them.
----------------------------------------------------
Nira walked over to the table where everyone crowded around. "I am Nira, rider of Green Siarath." Nira introduced herself as she caught the last few introductions. "Of course Siarath couldn't make it seeing as she is much too large." Nira smiled. ~See, it isn't always the best to be the biggest.~ She told her bonded. Siarath didn't reply, for she could thing of no comebacks to say angrily at her mine.

Mearath flared up as the gold snapped at her clutch mates. I am not hiding! Mine let's go and talk to someone! she said not wanting to be made out as shy. Abriana was about to object but she was tugged to her feet by an insistent Mearath. "Hey! Stop it, I can't rip this dress," she scolded her dragon. If you do not want this thing to rip then you must come with me! the green replied mischievously.
Seeing no other choice, Bri followed her dragon that still had a corner of her gown in her mouth. Seeing that she was supposed to introduce herself, she cleared her throat and said timidly, "I am Abriana of Tillek hold...and this is Mearath my dragon." Mearath proudly displayed herself to the crowd, vainly enjoying the attention for a few seconds. "Now can we go sit down?" she asked her green blushing. No, you must talk to someone! the dragonet replied stubbornly.

Kia smiled when Akki walked up to her. "She is wonderful but she knocked some stuff off my drawer today when I was getting ready. She can be such a clumsy dragon," she said happily. ~Go talk.~ [shadow=red,left,300]Fine![/shadow]Kylath shuffled under the table with the white and two blues. [shadow=red,left,300]Hello everybody. I am Kylath... your names?[/shadow] ~`,~`,~`,~`,~`,~`,~`,~`,~`,~`,~`,~`,~
D'ran smiled when the Copper went under the table. ~Now you will make another friend.~ [glow=blue,2,300]She can be a little- mean.[/glow] D'ran looked up at Rhia and G'han and said, "I am D'ran, Weyrsinger and Weyrling Rider of Blue Aureth who is the larger blue under the table."
~`,~`,~`,~`,~`,~`,~`,~`,~`,~`,~`,~`,~
Kia grinned at Rhia and G'han and said, "I am Kia, as I think you know, and this grumpy Copper is Kylath." Kylath snorted distatefully and flicked her tail, turning away from her Mine.

Akki could hear Ebbeth snicker before he said [glow=teal,2,300]Your mine is right, I am just teasing. I do that alot you will soon learn![/glow]. Akki rolled her eyes before winking at B'kin and moving over to Nike where she voiced her congratulations gleefully. "Nike! I am so happy you Impressed!" She cried as she flung her arms over her friends shoulders.

Rhia chuckled, shaking her head so that the auburn ringlets bounced about her head from their confinement. "A pleasure to meet you all. I just hope you guys aren't as much of a handful as we were." She gave Akki, R'dan and Christae a mocking grin. They all remembered how thier Hatching Feast had been.
She walked up to the Weyrwoman and said in a fake accent. "Jolly good speech up thar m'lady." She winked and then went to congratulate Nike and study the silvery-white hatchling that she had Impressed.
"I know she won't take Tirith's place, but I am truly happy that you have Ruanth. I didn't know how to act around you, knowing that I still had Mneith and you had lost Tirith. Good luck with your white." She looked down to find the hatcling. "Hello little one. I am Rhia. The huge brute of a brown that is outside is my dragon Mneith. You have a very good rider, take care of her. Sometimes she worries so much about other people's ailments that she forgets her own." She winked at the hatchling.

Hello Kylath, my name is Hydrath and my mine is K'dan. He looked to the gold. I am hiding so you won't snap at me like you did when we first hatched. You didn't get off on the best terms with me. K'dan looked to Nike, "It looks like our dragons have made good friends". He smiled as he looked at the two.

Well you were in my way. I do not want you in my way because you are inferior, adn I do not want you hiding like a newly hatched tunnel snake for it is a disgrace to our race. The queen snorted and curled up by her mine's chair.

Hydrath was getting a bit brave and bolder for he almost snapped at the queen. Hydrath relayed her message to K'dan and he balled his fist. ~Hydrath you had better defend yourself. You are not inferior, all dragons are needed in the weyr. I told you before size and color do not matter, you are just as valuable as her~, he said to his dragon. Hydrath didn't move but he did tell the gold what K'dan had told him. K'dan turned to Nike and nodded his head, "I can't believe that dragon, making Hydrath feel like he is nothing, worthless". He would be angry about this but he wasn't normally the type to get angry, instead he felt disappointed that the gold was so blinded by her pride that she couldn't see the importance of all dragons.

“Exactly G’han, it makes me feel old being addressed as Sir.” R’dan said with a grin. He doubted that he was much older than T’rin. R’dan looked under to table to see D’ran’s Aureth huddled with white Ruanth and blue Hydrath. “Why are they under the table?” he asked, curious.

When the weyrling Queen announced herself as the Junior Queen of the Weyr, Christae had raised her eyebrows in suprise. Kaith relayed Reinath's words to Christae. The Weyrwoman hid a frown. The little gold was too arrogant for her own good.
"Youngling, you had better learn respect and decorum. You are not allowed to treat your fellow dragons in such a manner." She told Reinath sternly. "You are NOT Junior Queen until you and your rider pass your Weyrling classes and if you keep up with that attitude you will be transferred to another Weyr or I will bring in a Junior Queen that you will be under."
You had better not speak to ME in that manner little one. Kaith told her daughter, just as stern as her rider. And you had better take your dragonet in hand young Miya! Being a Queen and rider does not place you above the rules.
Christae agreed with her Queen. "You are more bound by the rules of politeness and conduct than anyone else. The two of you have a great deal to learn. I will not hear another word about other dragons being inferior."
