A blue! Another blue, this one of amazing hue too, Akki thought admiring it as she saw it hatch. Her gaze stayed upon it a moment longer before wandering to the brown, who had dismissed the girl candidates, clearly searching for a boy.

Kia looked aat the amazing new blue. It was so interesting. She felt the reassurance from bopth of her friends in the stands.
Tokagae enjoyed the attention while it lasted.

Daran looked at the interesting new dragon. It was an odd color.

Kadan watched wide eyed as the blue came out of its shell. Such a lovely shade of blue it was. Blues were his favorite dragon and this had one of the best shades by far. The thought of impressing it wasn't in his mind, he was too cought up in marveling at it.

Adrian now sat herself down in the section that was reserved for her. Verdeth watched her clutch brother, the brown look for his mine. He would always be his favorite.

Kia watched the blue walk by. He seemed to be quick to dismiss people.
ooc|| I only spun her around twice and slowly. It was cool because I pet her as she went around. Trust me, she was not having a heart attack or anything. I know my cat well.

Christae smiled broadly as each person impressed. She loved the dainty little green. She was small, but not the smallest she had ever seen. She would be a medium-small sized green. All of the hatchlings were perfectly healthy, their hides glowing with the happiness that came from finding their bondmates.
The Weyrwoman watched as the brown and blue searched for their chosen, hoping for everyone's sake that they impressed quickly. Hungry hatchlings often mauled innocent bystanders.

The little brown's eyes whirled red with hunger. He felt a frenzied need to find his bondmate. He became angry because he could not find his chosen. In a rush the hatchling dashed through the male candidates, scratching Zinir and barreling into Kadan. The boys came out with bloody scratches on their legs, staining the white robes they wore.

Kadan was knocked for a loop flat on his butt. He felt the scorching sands burn his bottom and quickly jolted up with a yelp, patting his now sizzled butt.

G'han saw the brown charge after Kadan and was about to leap over and do something. Gerenanth stopped him before he did anything. G'han there is nothing you can do for him. Let it be, he will be fine. G'han went back to Rhia and continued watching the hatching.

Kia looked at the boys, feeling bad for them. In a way she was relieved the dragon was not at the girl's side. She wondered who the dragon would Impress, she knew he was hungary.

Daran looked sadly on the crimson-stained robes from cuts on the legs of the boys. Of course, it could have been much worse and this was a not-so-serious mauling.

She shouldn't have been surprised though, these maulings were not uncommon especially when the draogn was whipped into a crazed frenzy, angry that it has not been fed or found its bonded yet.

Rhia's heart leapt into her mouth when the brown hatchling mauled Zinir and Kadan. Nor was the creature finished. He rushed across the sands, moving to the girls side. He passed them, moving towards his mother.
Kaith tried to send soothing thoughts to her hatchling but to no avail. Christae tried to leap back as the brown came at her but she tripped. Kaith lunged forward with a bellow but stopped. She could not hurt her bonded but nor could she harm her child. The brown dragonet scraped at the arm Christae raised to protect herself before tumbling off again.

G'han clinched his fist, now he was going after Christae the weyrwoman. He considered her a friend as well and didn't want to see her hurt. Gerenanth once again restrained his rider from rushing in. There is nothing you can do G'han. Christae will be fine. G'han unclinched his fist and returned his arms around Rhia.

R’dan watched helplessly as the brown dragon ran about the sands. First knocking over Zinir and Kadan then scratching Christae, the Weyrwoman of all people. He stood on his tip toes to see if the three were alright, the brown had left the Weyrwoman and gone back to wandering the sands, hopefully he'd find his mine soon.

Finally heeding his golden mother the little brown began to calm down, creeling with hunger and searching for his bondmate.
The blue had wandered around, trying to find his chosen almost forgotten during the excitement caused by his clutch-brother's maulings.
He could not find his chosen on the sands, but someting called to him in the stands. He walked to where the riders and honored guest were sitting and began to climb laboriously up the tiers, nearly straining his body to reach his chosen.

Kia watched the dragon go and attach Christae. She took one step closer, about to stop him. She realized that wasn't a smart thing and stepped back quietly, hopind nobody had noticed her foolish action.

Daran looked incredolously as the blue dragon climbed up the stairs. He wondered who it was looking for.

She watched as the blue clambered over to where the stands were, struggling to get up to his chosen. "His chosen is not on the stands"She murmured as she looked around, wondering whom it could be. [glow=teal,2,300]I hope he finds his mine soon, or trouble could break out once more[/glow]
