Kia almost yelped in surprise when the Blue lurched towards Kaz, or K'rael now. She watched happily, wondering what the Blue said.

Akki ran out to where Nira and the other riders were, gasping for breath. [glow=teal,2,300]We are late, a bronze and blue have hatched.[/glow] Ebbeth said as Akki smiled at everyone. She was silently fuming and scolding herself being late, how could she be late for something this improtant? It was unacceptable in her point Ebbeth said, consoling his mine.

"I guess I still haven't got use to that fact. I doubt the bronze will go between. I am sure there is a candidate out there that will impress it", he said to her. Yes he is probably taking his time making sure he chooses the right one and I don't think I was that small. I am sure I was a bit bigger. ~Keep thinking that buddy. I think you were smaller infact~, he told his dragon laughing aloud. Gerenanth huffed at the comment. I was not smaller. Can you believe my rider. He thinks he is sharp and funny. ~Because I am sharp and funny~, he said with a smirk. I wasn't speaking to you. ~Well you forgot to hide that from me then~, he said. Gerenanth huffed again and said no more.

Breckin tore his eyes from the bronze to look at the newly hatched blue. The boy leaned forward to see around the other candidates to see if the blue was all right after his fall. Had the blue chosen his mine? It sure looked like he had chosen, so Breckin clapped for the impression.

She clapped politely as she admired the blue. She was glad the blue was Impressed, in her eyes blues were the best. [glow=teal,2,300]A bronze is what we missed, but I thikn I am stating the obvious[/glow]. It was true, he was stating the obvious. The bronze was probably taking his time though, of course.

Kadan congradulated the lad he had been talking to. "A fine blue you have impressed. I knew you would impress", he said to the boy giving his congradulations.

"Akki you are later than me!" Nira exclaimed. "That isn't right." She laughed. She saw the blue impress and clapped happily. "This is already much more exciting than Siarath's hatching." She laughed remembering that it was a very small and short hatching. She clapped politely for the boy.

Tayrin also congratulated his new friend. "See, a blue, just how you wanted." He grinned at Kazrael... or would it be K'zrael now? He wasn't sure. However, he was sure that the boy hadn't heard him, and that was all right, because he WAS a bit distracted.
Tayrin turned his eager attention to the bronze wandering the Sands. It had tumbled into Breckin but didn't seem to have Impressed with him, which meant he was still looking. Tayrin's deep navy eyes glittered as he anticipated the next dragonet to Hatch.

Christae had let out a joyous cry when the bronze hatched and she cheered when Kazrael impressed the little blue. Kaith bugled her happiness as well and then returned to humming.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rhia greeted Nira and Akki and clapped with the others when the bronze hatched and the blue Impressed.
"What's his name K'rael?" she yelled out.
Kia looked around warily, trying to be aware of her surroundings. She noticed that everyone was clapping and joined in. She clapped her hands loudly for the fairly new Candidate who was now a Weyrling. At that moment she wondered which egg held the dragon for her.
"I know, Ebbeth didn't tell me until I woke up, claimed he was sleeping too. I feel awful now"She admitted as she politely clapped. K'rael was lucky, he had his very own dragon now. "I will wait and see before I say if it is better than mine, though I doubt it. Mine was the best."She said as she smiled happily.
R’dan clapped for the first impression with smile. ~No brown dragons have hatched yet~ Jesseth noted. R’dan laughed, ~Nor greens, but these are just the first two hatchlings there will be more.~
The bronze sat on his haunches, tilting his head back and forth as he studied the male candidates. He growled, annoyed that his blue brother found his Mine before him. He started to walk forward, as if he had found his chosen but then stopped as a large crack sounded through the sands.
One of the smaller eggs cracked around it's top. A wedge-shaped head poked out, a piece of shell stuck to its nose. The small green tried to struggle out of the small opening but was stuck. She squirmed, trying to force her way out of the egg. Her hide, from what was visible from the egg was a pale lime green. Darker lines traversed her hide along the cracks, giving her hide the appearance of a spiderweb.
Kia looked at the beautiful new green. Sha head more of a chance with Impressing this dragon. The little green tried to get the egg shell off her and Kia, once again, wanted to go and touch the dragon. She wishe she could just go and clear the shell away.
Miya noticed the green. It's hide had a very interesting color and design but she wasn't interested in a green. She wanted a bronze or a brown. She looked at the queen egg but didn't want a queen either. She wanted her dragon to breathe fire. She wanted to expiriance the amazing and thrilling event of fighting thread. Of seeing fire explode from the mouth of the dragon she rode. That she could not do on a gold, and she didn't want to do it on a green or a blue.
Akki watched as the bronze growled slightly, dissapointed the blue Impressed before him as a small green struggled to be free of the containment of her shell. Finally, a green hatched she thought joyously before grimacing slightly. Poor Nike, to see tons of dragons just when yours had passed away. [glow=teal,2,300]Do not worry, she will be fine[/glow] Ebbeth assured.
Zinir heard the dragons humming. It was the sign that the hatching had started. Kaith's first clutch would be hatching soon. There wern't that many candidates on the sands when he entered. He had on his white robe and he bowed to Kaith to be respectful and honor her. He then stood with the rest of the boys. He hoped he would soon get to honor his parents.
Breckin looked at the bronze when he growled but his attention was once again drawn away from the little bronze hatchling. He searched for the source of the loud crack and saw a little green trying to free herself from her shell.
-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ R’dan too searched for the source of the crack, he located it a bit sooner and watched as the green struggled before she was finally able to free herself. He wondered if a little dragon did become stuck in it’s shell… would a candidate try to free it?
"I'm nervous"She admitted aloud as she watched the green finally break free of the shell. The bronze was forgotten once more for another dragon had risen. [glow=teal,2,300]It's not forgotten, someone will be admiring it.[/glow] Yes, as it should be
