Miya glared at Akki, taking the insult personally. She sighed realizing that she was not used to socializing or joking around. Once ful Tony and Karie settled on Miya's shoulders.

“Alright …” Breckin said simply, he still thought she should have won. He scratched the green firelizards little eyeridges. “Yeah, I don’t think he’s a pest then again he’s your fire lizard so you probably know better.” Breckin grinned and gave the flitt a bit more roasted wherry.

Akki noticed the glare, she had to admit it was hard not to. How come this girl reminded her of herself at times? Back when she was home, where she was not allowed to smile or, heaven forbid, actually enjoy herself which was all courtesy of her fathers strict rules. "Don't glare at me, I'll glare right back"Akki pointed out, though no in a harsh way.
"You would change your mind if he was cherping all night when you were trying to slumber"Akki said, smiling.

Christae's eyes crinkled with amusement. Akki and R'dan were certainly providing entertainment. "Come on now, don't be shy. Introduce yourselves." She told the ones who had remained silent. "I am glad you two settled your 'contest'. Personally I would have called it a tie."

"Ah, but Christae there is no fun in a tie, only quarrels"Akki pointed out as Sargon looked at the meat lazily, before quickly snatching it up and cherping a thanks. Sargon, now full, curled around Breckin, Sargons tail around his neck.

G'han had a semi-shocked look on his face, "Akki, you are giving up". He nodded his head but gave her a smile. Though he thought it a bit strange to start a contest and then just give up.

Breckin was surprised when Sargon fell asleep on his shoulder with his tail around his neck. He let the firelizard stay there and began to eat another sweet roll trying not to displace him.

Miya closed her eyes when Akki spotted her glare. It would take some getting used to living in the weyr. It would help once she impressed her dragon. Tonu and Kalie were unsettled by Miya's unhappy thoughts so the two flew onto the table. They lay on the table, side by side to keep each other company. Miya opened her eyes keeping them fixed on the firlizards.

"O R'dan, you just don't like attention do you? I hate to blend into the crowd at times, it makes me feel so bland"Akki said, wrinkling her nose with distaste. "Do not worry about waking him Breckin, he will sleep through anything"She said, remembering some of the things he slept through. She watched Miya for a moment or two before snatching up a sweet roll with her hand and muching on it happily. She was glad to have everyone around her, it gave her time to catch up on things.

Just as Nike took off on the dragon of another Kia stood up, almost knocking her chair over. She ran out but by the time she was their Nike had winked /between/. She frowned, staying out for a moment or two. As she walked in, shuffling her feet, she heard Akki say she gave up. She silently found her seat and wondered how it would feel if she never got a dragon or did only to find it winking /between/ with no place to go. She tried to brighten her spirits when the others talked of a new contest. She took a deep breath and said loudly so it seemed more happy, "I want to be in this one."

Daran saw Kia stand up and watched as Nike went /between/. Now he didn't really haveand friends, Nike was the closest too one. He sighed and lowered himsef in his chair, almost sitting on his loower back. Suni jumped down and curled up on Daran's lap. He soon fell asleep.

R’dan’s cheeks flushed with a bit of pink. “Yeah. I don’t really like all this attention, then again… I don’t like being ignored. It’s just this was a bit of a shock, I guess.” When a new contest was suggested he wondered if he should join, finally he said, “If you need a judge for this contest I’ll be the judge… unless I end up joining.”

“Ok,” Breckin replied to Akki’s comment about Sargon sleeping through anything. He eyed the creature and wondered just how much he’d slept through. He lifted his shoulder slightly to test to see if the fire lizard would wake.

"I need ideas for the contest, I can't think of any except bland ones that no one will do because it will too hard!"Akki cried as she rubbed her temples, searching her mind for a contest that would be enjoyable but not to easy. "R'dan! You can't be a judge! You have to be part of this! All will be the judges"Akki said as she lowered her hands.
Sargon, stirred slightly as Breckin moved his shoulder slightly but he slumbered on. Akki raised her eyebrow slightly, just to say silenty 'Told you so'.
