Akki blinked and then said, "He wasn't paying attention to where he was walking, it's that simple!". She did not know if that was true or not, and she doubted if it was but she rather hoped that she didn't appear to be threatening. "And if I am anything I am..."Akki started to say before her blue cut in, [glow=teal,2,300]Odd? Immature? Bossy? Rider of the best blue in the world?[/glow]. "...Annoyed by a certain blue, but anyways if anything I am...crazy"She finished, deciding on that word.

“Sounds fair to me…” R’dan replied though this contest was getting bigger than he initially thought it would. It would be rather embarrassing to see how few people he had actually met.

G'han laughed, "I think I gathered that much but maybe you are right perhaps he likes walking backwards and didn't see the chair that was behind him. Perhaps you were just there with him to tell him the chair was there and you didn't tell him in time. I see now that must be the reason". His tone was a joking tone.

She watched Sargon, who was also doing his share of watching, watch the blue flitt that attempted to fly before giving up. Sargon gave a small cherp and then quieted.

Breckin sat at the table watching the riders joke around, if he impressed would he be close enough with them to be able to joke around like them? He grabbed a sweet roll from a plate and began to eat. The candidate then noticed the green firelizard sitting in Akki's chair and watched the miniature dragon with fascination.

"Sargon, you are on my chair. Did you know that? I should have called you lazy and selfish, now at least shove over before I sit on you"Akki asked her flitt. He cherped furiosly, lept off the chair and onto the table where Akki told him to get off before he broke anything. Bored, and made about not being able to stay on Akki's chair or her shoulder he flew towards Breckin, cherping hungrily.

Breckin watched as Sargon flew about. “Akki could I feed your firelizard?” He asked with a pleading look. “Not this sweet roll of course but something he’d like.”

"O, go ahead. If he continues to beg just throw something at him, that will get him to leave. But I warn you now, once you feed him you will become his best friend!"She said. It was true, every time someone fed Sargon he seemed to attach himself to his neck, not that Akki minded. After his constant chirping she needed a break, and so did he.

Breckin grinned he certainly didn’t have a problem with a new firelizard friend. The boy took a small piece of roast wherry off his plate and held it out for the green firelizard to eat.

R’dan sat down at his seat. “So we don’t really know who’s won the contest yet. But I think you will win, Akki.” The brownrider kind of hoped that V’lar would forget about asking everybody, he didn’t like drawing too much attention to himself.
((I've got to go to bed. *Dances* We've got a slight chance for snow again, tomorrow night.))

Sargon gazed hungrily at the food before snatching it with his mouth and chewing it quickly, cherping for more as he landed on Breckins shoulder, watching the person and his hand which was handing out the food.
"Don't deny reality R'dan, we both know I will win!"Akki said, punching her fist into the air as a cheer. "If you are willing to admit I wont ever mention the fact you lost"Akki prompted.

"Hm, I wouldn't declare a winner yet. I was the only one V'lar asked", he said. He stood up, "Ok everyone here that knows either one of these two speak up". He looked over to V'lar, "I think I will help you out". He glanced over to Akki and R'dan, soon he had gotten himself involved in this thing, although unlike V'lar it was intentional.

Miya interrupted. "Well you were a stranger when you ran up to me. I think you are scary and strange. For that reason I would like to vote that R'dan would win. Miya smirked. I t was as close to a smile that you could get from Miya. This was too show that in a way she was joking around, she just didn't want anyone getting mad at her. Tonu and Kalie both flew onto the table and stood near Sargon begging for food. "Come back here youu greedy creatures." Miya ordered and the two ran over to Miya and begged her for food. She sighed and cut up some of the roast wherry using both of her hands to feed the two flitts.

Nira laughed. "I think you are scary, Akki." she joked around. "Though I vote for you because R'dan is too...well." Nira paused to think. Lina chirped and Nira continued, "Plane Jane..even though you are a male." She smiled figuring she might have just called the rider a girl.

Rhia laughed and raised both her hands into the air. "Right hand up if you met Akki, left hand for R'dan. Since I know both of them, I will raise both hands." The female brownrider waited to see if the others would follow her example. "That way no one has to go around asking people if they know Akki or R'dan."

Nike nodded and left. As she was climbing up the neck of the brown dragon than had come to get her, the Healer heard a dragon's mind entere her's.
Tell Nira that I will be back soon. And good-bye! Nike sighed as the brown rider looked behind his should to see if she was in place. It was hard on her to be here. To ride a dragon so soon. Soon the brown was airborne, and then winked /between/ to Fort Hold.

R'dan wins!"She declared as she felt Ebbeth's confusion. He knew it was not like her to give up a contest. I better explain to you. I was being immature for a distraction for Tirths death. and now I have gotten over the majority of it I still continue to be immature, and I just realized that before her death I would have never acted like this, well some of it I would but not all. When Rhia suggested everyone raise their hands to vote Breckin raised his right hand. Sure he knew R’dan but Sargon was sitting on his left shoulder and he didn’t want to frighten the firelizard.

R’dan shrugged, he didn’t mind being “plain jane” as Nira had put it. “Being plain makes it easy to blend into the crowd. I didn’t take it as an insult… unless Nira, you’re calling me a girl?” He raised an eyebrow. “Then Dark Moon Weyr would have two female riders of brown dragons and that just wouldn’t do. Rhia is the only female brownrider.”

Breckin frowned when Sargon flew off his shoulder. Though he could do nothing to stop the firelizard, after all the green flitt was Akki’s. “I don’t think he’s a pest Akki. And you should have won.” He whispered.

"I don't want to win"Akki told Breckin, it was true too. She rather greet the person formally then run up. "You don't think he's a pest? That is a first"Akki said with a laugh as Sargon cherped at her, clearly stating that she didn't find him annoying. He flew back to Breckin, pretending to be mad at Akki, and cherped hungrily again.
