But if I’m not mistaken I think that’s why Weyrwoman Christae brought the tables together, a lot of candidates have been arriving and the only ones I really know are Breckin and you, Kia." He stopped speaking when he saw Daran enter the Lower Caverns.

ooc|| I'm thinking of making Komina (the harper who wouldn't feed her flitt) a temporary character. She can give Miya a hard time and stuff for taking the flitt... opinion?

"Akki you are very late." THe girl joked. "You came after I did." she smiled. "I think I will name my gold..." Nira paused to think.
How about bossy. Siarath snorted as the little queen's bosy attitude already began to poke through.
Nira laughed as the queen chirped angrily as if she understood then settled down. ~I think I prefer, Lina.~ Nira said to Siarath.
I suppose that works to. Siarath replied.
"I think I will name her Lina." Nira announced as she scratched the young flitts eyeridge with her pinky finger.

Miya listened to the others and strained to see the two firelizards who rested on her shoulders. "I will name you, Kalie~ She said pointing to the green. She paused not sure where she got the idea for that name. "...and you Tonu." She said pointing to the brown. She has said the names allowed but was talking to herself. The two flitts spread their wings for a moment then folded them back up.

"O hush Nira! You are ruining my disguise of me not being late! And anyways, consider the fact you are early for once!"Akki said happily, sarcastically scolding the rider. She turned her attention back to R'dan and said "I only know Kia, does that deem me pathetic?". She squirmed slightly in her chair, Sargons body against her neck was making her itch slightly but her flitt seemed peaceful so she dare not disturb him.

"You are very pathetic," she said jokingly. She looked to see who she knew. Kia knew a lot of people, suprisingly. She listened to Miya's names and smiled. "I like them," she said. She liked all the names.

G'han laughed at Kia's comment to Akki. "Don't worry I don't think you are pathetic", he said still laughing.

Kadan looked over to Akki, "My name is Kadan. We raced together in the swimming race and we were the first two out. I don't think we were properly introduced though".

“Not that pathetic. I only know one more candidate than you, and I only met Breckin because I almost ran into him the other day. And then I showed him around the weyr. I’ve heard about Miya,” he said as he glanced at the girl with two firelizards. “But haven’t met her yet.”

Kia laughed. "Perhaps you are both pathetic," she said laughing, "I'm just kidding. I love you both." She laughed and looked over at her two friends next to her. Suddenly a thought occured to her, "Exactly how old are you both?"

“I’m 16 turns.” R’dan replied. He wouldn’t be surprised is they thought he was younger than he was. “How old are you Kia?”

Kia felt a little embarrassed. She now knew R'dan was older than her and by the way Akki looked it seemed she was also older. "I am 15 turns," she said a little meekly. Her birthday was at the end of the winter solstice. She looked to see how old Akki was. ooc|| I feel like making everyopne not on read a lot, *laughs evily*  mwahahahaha |

~What? Were you scared she’d be 20 turns or something?~ Jesseth said after Akki told them how old she was.
~No! I just… you be quiet.~ R’dan replied his cheeks turning a bit pink.
The brownrider turned to look down the table to try to get Breckin’s attention and waved him over. The boy walked over with a guilty look upon his face, as if he thought he were in trouble. “If you’re trying to meet people then I might as well introduce you to Breckin. Breckin this is Akki.”
“Hi.” Breckin said holding out his hand to shake Akki’s.

Kia stood up and motioned with her hands for them to come. "Did you meet Miya? Did you meet Tayrin," she asked. She took a couple steps towards Miya. She didn't see Tayrin come in.
