Kia pointed in the right direction and said, "That way." She felt the cold breeze blow her hair back a little and smiled. This felt great. She bent down and tried to say so only Siarith could hear, "I know why I want to be a Dragonrider," she said, "So I can fly atop the most magnificent of beasts and so I can protect my family with a life-long friend, that is why."

Siarath smiled as she heard Kia's words.
"Is that it?" Nira asked when the flew above a small farm like living area. SHe had Siarath turn in circle's till the girl answered.

"Yes, that's it," she said, preparing to land. She looked down for her little home. Tokagae chirped happily as they flew through the air. She knew she didn't have much to bring but it was ok. "I don't really have much clothing. Do you think there will be clothes I can get from others that don't fit them," she asked.

"Do not worry you will be able to get clothing at the weyr, but I would suggest bringing some clothing." She said as Siarath landed, and folded her wings. "Now go get you stuff we need to get back to the weyr." Nira told the girl.

Kia nodedded and ran to her home. She gathered the few clothes she had. The only shoes she had were the shoes she wore now so she was pretty much done after clothing. She ran back when she had finished, Tokagae bringing up the rear. She looked happily at Nira.

Hi Tokagae. Siarath said to the firelizard forgetting that the little beast couldn't actually talk back.
"Ok, climb back on." Nira smiled. She put the helmet back on.

Kia jumped back on the dragon in an awkward way. Her bag shifted on her back and she put Tokagae in the bag, keeping it open so Tokagae had air. She didn't want him falling behind. She whispered good-bye to her home and said, "I'm ready."

"Ok here we go, hold on tight." Nira warned her as Siarath lifted into the air.
She glided for just a moment before dissapearing into the mesterious between.

Kia felt the biting cold of /between/ and as they appeared at the Weyr she was close to tears. It was a grueling thing to go through but she had gotten through it pretty well. A couple other Search riders popped from /between/ and the girl were crying histerically. She sighed and let Tokagae from the bag. He bellowed at first but then tried to comfort his Bonded.
