Bathing

[Tenma]

Nira and Siarath arrived at the lake. Siarath ran into the water and layed down, enjoying the cool, refreshing water. Nira laughed. She eased herseld into the water and grabbed some sand. (I forgot what itis called.) She began to scrub Siarath and few firelazards appeared out of no where. She laughed even though this happened most of the time. The fire lizards began to scrub Siarath.
They are good scrubbers. Maybe you should be a firelizard. Siarath joked.
I don't think so. Maybe if YOU were a firelizard you would be easier to clean. Nira replied.

[Dragon]

Gerenanth jumped in the water, splashing anyone within close range of him. Gerenanth enjoyed swimming in the water and was being difficult to anyone who tried to scrub him, since he would much rather play around. No chore to wash am I, he thought craftly to himself.

[Tenma]

Nira laughed as Gerenanth splasher her.
You will pay for that. Siarath joked. While everyone was cleaning her upperbody Siarath splacsheed her tail sending a small wave of water at Gerenanth.
"Stop moving." Nira laughed as she moved to Siarath's tail while the firlizards moved to her face.
Ahh they are swarming. Siarath joked sending the firelizards away from her face. They moved to her neck. Nira ALMOST fell in the water rolling with laughter, ALMOST.

Mneith deposited Rhia on the edge of the lake and waded in to swim a bit. Rhia watched from the back, relaxing and watching her friends cavort in the water. Mneith playfully sent a large wave of water in the direction of his green clutch-sister., thoroughly soaking her rider and the young bronze.

[Miki]

Kia laughed as she soaked the water from her shirt. First a splash from Gerananth, now one from Siarath. This would be fun. She struggled to be able to scrub the side of Gerananth's body. Laughing, she splashed as much water as she could at the bronze dragon's face. Tokagae dived into a shallow spot and walked out.

[Tenma]

Nira stood back as Mneith completely soaked her. Since she finished scrubbing Siarath the firelizards went over to help scrub Gernenanth. Siarath sent a splash back to Mnieth. Afterwards Nira ran and jumped onto the large brown. "Take that." she said playfully. She was once again acting like a child, but she was loving. Siarath laughed, as dragons dod, and went underwater.

[Dragon]

Gerenanth was getting splashed left and right. First Siarath, then Mneith, then Kia. He finally had enough and decided it was payback. He whipped his tail sending a small wave at Kia then another at Nira and Siarath. Finally he jumped up and landed by Mneith, soaking the larger brown. He was having so much fun, he hadn't had this much fun in a long while.

Gerenanth tried to shoo the firelizards away, he wanted to be as difficult possible just to prove that he was just as hard to clean as the other dragons.

[Spirithawk]

Mneith stomped around in the lake, splashing everyone. Rhia laughed from the bank of the lake. Oh how she wanted to be in the water playing with her dragon and friends, but she knew better. She was more tired than she would admit. It had taken a lot for her to oil Mneith that morning.

Mneith was startled when Nira jumped on his back but he kept on splashing, just being careful not to dislodge the greenrider.

[Tenma]

Nira laughed as she playfully fell of Mnieth's back. She stood up and stopped after thourally being soaked by Gerenanth.
What is wrong? Siarath asked worridly.
Nothing. It is just that I feel bad for G'han. I think I need a break. Nira admitted. She walked out of the lake and lay down next to Rhia. Her clothes were soaked and she knew she would have to change. She then got up. "I am going to change into dry clothing, I will be back." Nira smiled as Siarath lay down on the dry ground allowing the sun to dry her hide.
Be back soon. The green added sleepily before dozing off.
Nira walked away heading for the weyrling barracks not realizing G'han was making his way to the lake. She arrived at the barracks without seeing G'han.

[Dragon]

G'han finally made it to the lake. He was still tired from last night an walking was alot harder since he had swollen ankles. He slumped down where Rhia was and exhaustion overtook him. He gently laid his head in Rhia's lap and held his father's walking stick firmly in his hands as he fell asleep again.

Gerenanth noticed his rider had come and said to Rhia, Don't be mad at him. He just wants to be with the people he cares about. He can rest here just as well as he can in bed. He then went back to being the difficult dragon that he was trying not to allow anyone to scrub him.

Though his eyes were still shut G'han woke for a moment and said to Gerenanth, ~Gerenanth let them scrub you, then you can play around ok~. Then he fell back asleep, unbeknowist to anyone that he ever awoke in the first place.

Gerenanth stood still and allowed Kia to scrub him. After your done scrubbing me, I'm going to get you good, He said to Kia playfully.

[Spirithawk]

Rhia had been sitting with her legs stretched out and her ankles crossed, laughing at her dragon. Mneith had swam to deeper water and was diving about like a shipfish.

Rhia jumped when G'han all but collapsed next to her. When he fell asleep she stayed still so that she wouldn't wake him.

~I am not mad at him Gerenanth. I know how he feels. Don't worry about him, I'll look after him as well as I can.~

[Dragon]

Thank you, thats one less thing to worry about. Gerenanth then turned his attention back on Kia who was scrubbing him.

G'han awoke and opened his eyes. He looked up at Rhia, smiled and said in a soft tone, "Heh, looks like I get to be the difficult one now". He then closed his eyes and fell back asleep.

[Tenma]

Siarath woke and stretched her tail and wings but didn't get up. HEr tail moved over and lay above G'han's swollen left ankle. She tail was soft since she had been recently scrubbed and warm from the ground. She crooned comfertingly but just lay there awake.

[Dragon]

G'han flinched when Siarath layed her tail on his leg, though it wasn't swollen it was still bruised. He lifted his head and said to the green, "Hey I don't want to be rude but your tail is on my leg and it's still bruised. Could you please move it, once again not meaning to be rude".

He then laid his head back in Rhia's lap and fell asleep again.

[Miki]

Ooc: Sorry I havn't been on in a while though it wasn't that long ago. By the way, I won't be on at all this weekend, maybe Sunday night.

Ic: Kia finished scrubbing Gerananth and tried to get a move in before he noticed. She twisted her shirt and water poured on the Gerananth's tail. She took a couple steps back and tripped over herself, falling into the lake. She began using her swimming skills and playfully swimming away from Gerananth. Sure, she was a little tired but she refused to let Gerananth be bored for it. The other dragons were sun-bathing and the other riders were resting. She just continued to splash Gerananth with her feet as she kicked away. Tokagae rose from where he was resting, near the shore. He streached and took off, sleepily. He swooped in the water and held some. Being as small as he was, it wasn't much. He helped Kia in playing and dumped the water on the small dragon. He was going to have a good time now.

[Dragon]

After Kia soaked his tail, Gerenanth sent a small wave at her and soaked her. As she was swimming away he tried to catch up with her. He lept in the air and landed near her in the water, splashing her. The splash so big it soaked G'han and Rhia. G'han lifted his head startled and said to his dragon, Gerenanth watch what you are doing, you soaked me and Rhia. Go farther from us if you are going to do that", he scolded his dragon then fell back asleep in Rhia's lap.

Gerenanth moved away from the others and continued splashing Kia.

[Miki]

Kia giggled to herself. Sure it was bad that the two were soaked but it was funny. She smiled at Gerananth, as if he had done a good thing. Sure she was teaching him a bad thing but she was a little like that herself. She swam further from shore and stooped. She jumped as far up as she could. First going down and pushing off the ground. She splashed all the water she could at the dragon.

[Spirithawk]

Rhia coughed and sputtered as the water Gerenanth had splashed flew in her mouth. "You pesky bronze!" Mneith came up from the deep end of the lake, unseen. He used his whole body, especially his wings to send a large wave of water over Kia and the little bronze. The edges of the waves lapped against Rhia's booted feet. She hadn't intended to get her riding boots wet. The things took forever to dry, but since she wouldn't be going between it didn't matter much.

That'll teach him to wet the invalids. Mneith told them. Rhia chuckled. G'han had fallen back to sleep. She looked down at him. He was as soaked as she was, but the sun would dry them quickly and the lake was fresh water so they didn't have to worry about salt. She pushed a strand away from his face.

Gerenanth, your rider looks so much more peaceful when he is asleep.

Mine do you want me to bring you to your Weyr?

Rhia remembered that she had moved from the ground floor weyr earlier that day. She was higher up than she could walk in her present state. ~I don't think you can transport me without flying me up there Mneith. I am fine here...I just wish I had a...~ She was unable to finish her sentence. Two blankets appeared nearby. ~Thanks~

You are welcome Mine. Rhia wrapped one around her shoulders. The other she draped across G'han. She had sat against a rock when she came out. The warm sun made her drowsy and she leaned back against the rock and fell fast asleep.

[Dragon]

Gerenanth was swollowed whole by the brown's huge wave. He went under water then swam back up and lept out the water right by Mneith to soak him, then he dove back under and swam farther away from Mneith so he wouldn't get so soaked again.

I know, honestly it is the most peace he has had since the renegades attacked. He feels alot happier now though, I can feel it. He is lucky to have such a close relationship to your rider. I think she helped him through his tough times as much as he helped her through hers. Gerenanth gave one last splash at Kia and Mneith then layed out to dry between Siarath and G'han.

Rhia woke and then fell into a half doze, listening to the dragons play. Mneith chased after the little bronze. He grabbed the smaller dragon gently by the tail as he lay down and picked him up. The brown's muscles strained. The bronze was getting larger by the day. Mneith carried Gerenanth by the tail into the deeper water and dropped him.
