Nike smiled. "Yeah they are. I'm glad that I Impressed Zim." The Healer said looking at her queen.
Memories of her Impression with Zim came back to her. It was an amazing time for that young girl at Southern Boll.

Kia smiled too. She picked Tokagae up to make sure he wouldn't try to touch an egg. "Tokagae can be a bit troublesome," she said, simply. She let him go and Tokagae flew happily to Sargon. "Oh no," she said abruptly," Someone will have to watch Tokagae during the hatching."

Miya slowly walked into the room with the others. "I am sorry Kia, G'han." SHe siad plainly. Though there was no sorryness in her voice, she did mean it. She then turned to Nike. "May I take up you offer on getting a firelizard egg?" she asked, trying to seem polite.

Nira watched Miya enter the room. At first she was afraid there would be another argument but Miya apolagized and spoke politly. Nira couldn't help but smile happily.

Nike nodded. "Yes you may. But none of these." Thhe Healer said putting the eggs that were chosen aside. There were two eggs left for Nike took one of her own. It was a small, white egg. A few blue spots were on the top. The egg was a glassy
crystal blue, Nike liked it.

Miya looked over the eggs. "I will take that one." she pointed towards one of the eggs in the hearth. Her dark brown eyes looked over the egg. It was plain black with a reddish tint.

Nike nodded and scribbled it down.
"Now all of you, out! You are annoying my firelizard, and will soon be hurt if you don't get out soon. But I would like to talk with you Miya." The Healer said getting up and shooing them all out.
Once they were gone, Nike put her things on her desk, then smiled at Miya.

Nira walked out of the room slightly confused by Nike's actions.

Daran got up quickly and walked out. He smiled once more at the egg that was his and then walked out.

Kia whistled and Tokagae followed her as she rushed out. She waited for everyone to leave and stayed for a moment with Miya and Nike. "Nike," she began slowly, "I just want to say, you are handling everything well. Congrats with Zim and bye." With her last word she rushed out, not waiting long enough to hear anything. She felt her curiousity getting the best of her, though. She told Tokagae to go back and rest while Kia stayed and listened from outside Nike's weyr. She stood a little away from the door, just in case.

G'han spoke, "It's ok Miya and I shouldn't have lost my cool like that", he paused then held out his hand, "Friends..........or atleast not enemies? Whichever you prefer". He looked to her hoping she would be his friend. The last thing he wanted was to exclude somebody. He waited for her answer then left when Nike shooed him out.

Nike smiled at Kia's words, then turned to Miya.
"I wanted to welcome you to the Weyr, and I hope we can become friends. Let's leave all past words and actions behind, we should work on the future." She said before sensing someone near. She walked souldnlessly to her door to see Kia.
The Healer poked her head out and grinned. "You know, evesdropping can get you in a lot of trouble." She said.

Kia blushed a little and then rushed to the ground, feeling around. "I'm looking for something," she said. She was nervous but did not let it seap into her voice. "I can't fint it, oh well." She then walked away quickly.

"Fine." Miya muttered in her normal emotionless voice. She then listened to Nike. When Kia was caught she couldn't help smiling. This was the first time she did in a long time. "I will agree with you and everyone else. I will try my best not to be enemies." Miya said to Nike.

Kia smiled when she heard Miya's words. She had to fight the urge to walk in and give her a big, friendly hug. She laughed to hersef, thinking how Miya would react to that.

"No thankyou. I may come down a bit later though." Miya said politly. She was in a very good mood, which was really weird. With that Miya left the room and made her way to the candidates barracks. She lay on her bed thinking about the recent evernt.
