G'han looked at her in a sad apologetic way, if it was one thing he couldn't stand it was having a friend mad at him. He hated that he let his anger get the better of him. He stood outside the candidate barracks and called for Miya, "Miya, Nike wants you to have an egg. Come back with me", he paused then continued, "Listen I am sorry I let my anger get the better of me. I would like very much to be your friend and not your enemy". He looked up and hoped she wouldn't snap at him. He had tried all this time to be on better terms with her and he hoped this time he could achieve that.

Nike smiled and walked back into her room.
"Alright, we have ten eggs, and Nira, Daran, Christae, Rhia, G'han, and Miya are taking them, so that leaves four eggs left.
Anyone else want one. Kia? Akki?" She said stroking Zim's eye ridiges.

Miya lay there quietly. She walked out of her barrack and looked at G'han. She opened her mouth to talk but decided agianst it. She opened her mouth again. "Tell Nike I am sorry but I will have to go later." she said quietly and began to walk towards the bathing rooms. She saw Kia as she approached the girl. Miya glared, still extrememly mad.

ic|| One harper walked up to the eggs. She looked at a fairly small one and smiled. It had a couple orange-ish speckles at the top and bottom. She pointed to it and said, "May I have that one?"

Kia couldn't help it. Before she knew it her balled hand was rushing towards Miya's face. Kia realized what she was doing and stopped her hand, centimeters away from Miya's face. Kia was stronger then she looked and she coldn't believe she was about to hurt Miya. She stared wide-eyed at her, frozen other then her hand slowly lowering.

Nike smiled at the Harper.
"Sure. So that leaves three." THe Healer went to her desk and took out a peice of paper and a bottle of ink.
She took her quill and scribbled down names, and the eggs. Then she noticed her scroll. "I forgot about that."
The Healer picked it up, and sat back down with her paper, quill, and ink.

Miya had quick reflexes and she hadn't realized Kia stopped in time. She immediantly dosdged where the fist would have gone and launched her leg at Kia's side.
(I know it is short, but I want somaya to reply before I go further.)

G'han walked back to Nike, "She will come later. I tried apologizing, the good thing is she didn't snap at me like I thought. So maybe that is a good thing".

Miya's leg knocked Kia over but she put her foot down so she didn't fall. She looked angrily at Miya but didn't want to do something she would regret. She walked and layed on her bed. Staring angrily at the season. Tokagae flew off and played with Sargon.

then picke up her scroll, and opened the seal.

Miya realized that Kia was not going to hurt her and that she just physically hurt someone. "Shards." she muttered. This would get her kicked off of the sands for sure. She rushed in to Kia's room. "DOn't tell anyone I did that." she practically yelled. "I thought you were going to hurt me, it was simply self defense." For once fear dwelled in Miya's eyes. "You can't tell... I will get kicked off of the sands for sure. I don't want to miss that chance." Miya practically begged.

"Again I apologize", G'han said. He joined the others and looked at the eggs. He stood next to Rhia and held her hand as he looked at the gold and her clutch. G'han thought to himself, "Maybe I should ask for an egg. Now that I have seen them I kinda want one now".

Kia looked carefully at Miya, wondering if she would say what the girl had done. She debated the idea. "So you do care about dragons," she finally said. She smiled inside, watcging the girl's toughness melt away.

Rhia heard the confrontation but stayed out of it. She didn't want to risk hurting her ribs again, not after finally being released. "I will take it easy for a while longer." She assured Nike. She chose her egg.
Christae did not want to get into the argument either but she left the room to make sure nothing happened. She followed Miya to the barracks, intending to talk to the girl. She was in time to see Kia almost hit the other candidate.
"Girls! Stop that this instant!!!!" She felt Kaith lift off of her ledge and fly down in front of the Barracks in case her rider needed her authority. Christae was glad that Kia walked away.
((It could be about your going get your masters or anything you wanted))

Miya blushed. "I...I.." She stammed to her Christae. "Oh no." she muttered and turned to see the weyrwoman. Fear filled the girl's eyes. "Christae....I..." Miya couldn't get anything out. She couldn't get kicked out...not now.

Nike opened the scroll, and started reading outloud:
"Journeywoman Nike,
We are sorry to hear about the death of you beloved green dragon, Tirith. But we aare very pleased to tell you that
we wish for you to come back to the Healer Hall in the Harper Hall, at Fort Hold, to learn new skills and get your Master's
in surgery. We are excited about this, and we want you to come back. We have new skills that we would like to teach you,
and we dearly wish to see you soon.
MasterHealer Chad, and the Healer Hall."
Nike grinned as she finshed. "Well what do you think?"

Kia smiled, finally. She walked up to Christae and said, "I think Miya deserves to stay on the sands. She really cares for dragons." Kia looked at Miya. She knew the girl would still have an atitude but perhaps Kia had toned it down a little.

She looked at her green and replied to Nikes inquiry, "I'm not sure, I don't want my own going crazy for attention!". "I also agree with G'han, it's a great oppurtunity but I will miss you so!" She said earnestly. She hated to see her friend go, but maybe this was what Nike needed and wanted something that would almost completely path up Tiriths death.

Nira's attention turned from the large golden egg to Nike. "I think everyone would I agree when I say.....I will miss you a lot!" She said with a smiled like this was a happy moment. "If you do go to get your masters I hope you will come back to visit us." She said hopefully looking at Nike.

Nike smiled. "I will come back with my Master's and be a Healer here. I promise I'll be back for Kaith's first hatching."
The Healer grinned and looked the scroll over. She was a mazed at this, but also very happy. She would hate to leave her friends, but she would come back.
