Kegin glarred at the girl. He growled lowly. He hated being lied to and he could tell that something was being lied about. "You want her then come and get her if you think you are brave enough. I can guarantee that you will be limping back half dead." Kegin looked at Talavi and took out his belt knife. "Then maybe I should just end it for him. You are not very good at being a renegade. I was beginning to believe you up until the arrow. Kegin chuckled and looked around again. He was back on guard. "Maybe i should leave. It seems you need to go home."
Behind Tia there were footsteps heard. Three sets of feet. Then a hand, heavy landed on Tia's shoulder. "What do you think you are doing?" said a deep voice. It was soft but still threatening.

"I will not go back." Tali hissed. Rage was building inside her and a look of disgust on her face. "I can take you." She narrowed her eyes and cracked her neck. "Not good enough, eh? If I get rid of you myself, then He will know how useful I can be!"
Tia turned around and then a sigh of relief.
"Talavi left, sir. I followed her to see where she was going. Tali....she's in danger, sir. I tried to save her.....I shot two arrows. I missed. She thinks she can take Kegin all by herself. I tried to stop her but she was in some rage about her mother lying to her. This is suicide to go up aganist a formidable enemy like Kegin! It was all Talavi's idea and I tried to talk her out of it. I didn't have any part in this except for following her. Please, you must stop her."

Rogin looked at her. HE thought a moment and chuckled. "Veran take you toy home and play with her or something. I want to see what will happen." Rogin turned back to look at Talavi. He knew what his brother could do. He has survived Turns of attacks from him and Konta before the others came. He can hold his own against them.
Veran smiled and took hold of Tia. "Come with me. We can have our own fun. Unless you want to see your sister get her arse kicked. You will be very surprsied from that one."
Kegin looked at Talavi and chuckled. "Then how shall we do this? Can you take me without a weapon or must you fight with one?" Kegin looked at her with much anger in his own eyes. He almost believed she needed his help. Never again would he be like that.
Rogin heard the challenge and began to move to stop her. He knew the trick and it was a deadly one. AS he was about to shout to warn her Konta grabbed him and pinned him to a tree. He had his mouth covered. Konta let go slowly and Rogin took a breath. He knew his friend wouldn't do that without a good reason. "To teach her sir. SHe will learn that everything must be measured. Nothing is easy when a target knows you are after them. This should be her test to see if she will no longer be a drudge."
Rogin took a breath and sighed. "Alright. You are right my friend." Konta nodded and together began to watch. Veran heard the exchange and put his arms around Tia, "Let's watch lovely. I have heard about him unarmed but never seen him fight so. I want to know why Rogin fears it."

"I have just had a little chat with my mother and it seems that she has been lying to me. It has just been revealed to me that the thing a killed was -not- my father. It was just some man my mother had to sleep around with. Point being, I don't have a father." Tali sneered. She gave Kegin that same look that Rogin has. "Not by blood anyway. My mother's name is Ciequar. Does that ring a bell to you, Kegin?" She said as she was planning her attacks. After a few moments, she walked passed. "You know what? Its not worth it. Fighting you. I told you I would not attack and that's what I meant. You want to attack? I don't think that would be wise." She narrowed her eyes. Her eyes, cold and hard marked a trained Renegade. She backed up against a tree and slithered up it like a snake and then disappeared.

Kegin chuckled. "Name doesn't ring a bell. but maybe my brother will know. He gets around with the women like your mother." Kegin chuckled and watched her leave. "Smart girl." He threw the makeshift staff and began to leave. He didn't want to be so close to Rogin's people.
Rogin and the others waited for Talavi to come back. Veran cursed under his breath. "Now I won't be able to see what he can do." Veran said. Konta looked at him, "Be glad. We were lucky to always attack him with something in his hands.." he said. Konta then looked at Tia, "He could have caught your arrow if Talavi didn't push him down." Rogin snorted and looked at the others. "Veran take your girls. And punish Talavi." he said. Rogin was sure to use her name to say that she passed buthe wasn't happy that she acted on her own. It seemed her last punishment didn't teach her enough.

Tali ran for Kegin. "You're mine!!" She yelled in fury. She came out of nowhere, a total surprise attack. She appeared to close the gap between her and Kegin rather quickly. When she got there, she knocked him down with a side kick to the throat. She was determined to show Rogin that she was useful.
Tali had him pinned. She had both arms pinned with her knees. She situated herself so that couldn't be thrown off, which was what she had expected. She grounded herself. She smiled that sick and twisted smile when she killed that man. She cracked her neck. "I have another surprise for you. " She was going to kill him. "I have four knives for a reason. You will find that out now." Nothing would please Rogin more than to have Kegin out of the way for good.
"It's time to die, Kegin!"

Kegin grinned and Rogin dropped his head. He couldn't look. Veran smiled and was eager to watch. Konta grunted and looked at Tia, "Say goodbye to your sister." he said. Kegin looked at Talavi want with ease lifted his arms. He wsa a smith that worked in the forge. Weight is never a problem. He was able to free his arms and grab her. His grip like taking a hammer to an anvil. He pulled her off him and stood. Then grinned as he got ready to fight. He flexed his hands into fists and was ready to fight. "Come then little girl if you think the brother of your boss can't handle himself. Do you know Konta is afraid to fight me when I am unarmed?"

Admin's Note:[/hr] I -told- you my _name_ is Talavi!" She kicked him the face. "No weapons." she said. She took her knives and threw them at Veran's feet. "I am _not_ little!" Her rage began to build. She sighed trying to control it.
"I see you as a challenge, Kegin. Nothing else. I care not who are are. I was hoping that you could help me find out but you insisted that I attack so I did. Come on, Kegin. Think about what you are doing. Commiting murder. If you do this, you won't be better than Rogin or me. You don't want to do this, Kegin. It isn't worth the time or the effort." Tali said. She was speaking like she wasn't 14 but an adult. Very mature and very logical. "Tell me something, are you going home to tell your Weyr friends that you were going to kill a little girl that didn't know how to defend herself yet? Think about it. They are going to laugh at you. I would rather fight you when I am more experienced. Wouldn't you? I'm an easy kill or so you say. Wouldn't you rather come back when I am that much harder to kill? Then imagine the fame and popularity with all the girls and the promotions......to say you killed a experienced Renegade is something. But to kill a defenseless inexperienced one, that's just being a bully."

Kegin grinned, "I could care less. Don't have any friends. And i figure if i kill you now I won't need to worry about one more Renegade. You are not ssomeone I worry about." Kegin watched her. The kick to the face didn't make him happy.
Konta and Rogin both hit themselves in the faces at the same time. Veran was getting excited and watched happily. He held Tia around the waist and put his head on her shoulder with a smile.
Kegin moved quickly as he ran at her. He was able to slide to the side and kick her feet from under her. His hand caught her arm as she fell and he gripped hard and tight. Kegin brought her up and punched her hard in the stomach. His hand let go as his fist connected. He moved back and was ready again. He would have fun.

Tali was out of breath because of the punch and the sweeping of the feet made her land on the ground, hurting bad. Her arm hurt. Then she thought something she never thought before. She chuckled. It took a few moment to recover as she stumbled towards a tree and caught her breath and gathered the strength to do this. To prove to Rogin that she was indeed useful, once an for all. She gave Kegin 'that look' Rogin did when he had enough. She walked towards him, not in any rush. The look was very ominious. She raised her eyebrow at him. A very serious look upon her face as she was figuring out how to do the move without reprecussions.
"Okay...bully!" she was mocking him. "Bully, bully, bully...." she said an taunting sing songy voice. She got up and ran up to fast him and quickly grabbed his leg and held on and didn't let go. "No? Then you wouldn't worry if I did this to you."
"MMMMMMmmmm, I love you..." She laughed and looked at Veran and grinned to show him it was all in fun. She began to pet his leg and cuddled it when she unexpectedly reached up and grabbed his private area and yanked.

Veran looked at her and growled. He wanted to watch and not be distracted. He grabbed the mound on her chest and twisted it. Then continued to watch. Kegin looked at Talavi a bit confused. But grabbed her arm. He began to pull her off him. "You are pathetic. Get off me." Kegin tried to kick her off and was going to punch her again. Rogin and Konta watched. Veran sighed. "This is boring. I wanted a fight. But not this childishness. Maybe you shouldn't pass her a drudge." Veran glarred and was tempted to leave.

"Pathetic am I? Veran. Don't go anywhere. There is reason for everything. Even though you don't see it, its there. Everything will be copacetic again. Trust me. I know what I'm doing. Watch." She let go at the right time, when his kick was behind him and went between his legs and when she put her feet down, she kicked him in the lower back, hard. "I'm not done you yet, Kegin. Who is the more pathetic? The fool who doesn't try or the warrior is brave enough to defeat any foe in their path? I am that warrior, Kegin. I am not afraid of you or to die. I simply don't care anymore." She spoke now with more maturity now and confidence.
Tia stopped Veran from leaving by grabbing his hand. She shook her head and pointed at Tali and what she just did.

Veran stopped and looked back to watch. Kegin was no longer willing to give her a chance. The kick to his back did hurt but he bared it. He elbowed her in the face but this time continued on the attack. He kept attacking with fist, feet, elbows. Anything he could use to attack her with. He was done playing the fool. Pain was ssomething he has learn hard how to bare so he was able to work through most of her attacks.

Tali wouldn't give up. No more playing. Her head went back due to the hit in the face with his elbow. She tried to block most of his attacks. She wasn't surprise at his aggressiveness. She expected it. She ducked and jumped, trying to dodge his barrage of attacks. She saw an opening as went for went before it was to late. She knew she was going after Kegin and wouldn't give up until he was defeated.
Tali was shaking. She didn't feel any pain. All pain was numb as if it didn't happen, the marks were there but she didn't feel anything. She refused to back up. Every attack he made, she countered as best she could. Her face was bloody from the attacks. She was planning to wear him down. She has never seen anyone with this much stamina. Suddenly she stopped. She sighed. She managed to stop one of his punshed.
"It's not nice to hit a girl in the face." Her voice and that soft but menacing tone to it. She wrenched back his wrist and made a spear with her index and pointer finger. This time, she was quick. She speared him in the throat, where the soft spot was while holding his other wrist. She hit his shoulder with hers really hard. Her aim to dislocated it. The pressure wasn't enough. She cursed. Instead, she head butted him.

Kegin saw her attacks coming. He saw her hand coming at him like a spear and pushed his body to one side to avoid it. He felt the jar on his shoulder and thanked Farenth it was reinforced with muscle. He pulled his wrist from her and grabbed her by the thoat. He was sure to keep his body to the side of her so she couldn't kick him. THen he began to squeeze.

There must be some weakness to him. There is a weakness towards every enemy but what was his? She didn't feel the constricting hold that Kegin had on her throat. Not really. She licked his nose. It was a distraction technique, something unexpected. She smiled and chuckled. She punched him in the face and kept on with the attacks. She learned quickly that Kegin was very agile and was quick to attack.
"I didn't want to fight you, Kegin. You forced the issue." She palmed his shoulder harder this this time and dislocated it.
"Why do you continue to attack without provocation? This hatred you have can be turned into something more productive. Killing me won't get you anywhere. I am just a lowly drudge. Can you really live with yourself if you kill another human being? Come now, Kegin. I know your heart and it isn't evil. I knew right from the start. You say you don't care but you do." She continued punching him and she kept on until blood was on his face. She gave him an evil smile and licked the blood off. "Let go of me." she glared at him. "You disgust me. You're the one that pathetic." She wrapped her legs around the tree that he and saw a tree limb right in reach. She pulled back the limb and let go. It smacked him in the face.

Kegin wasn't one to be put down easy. Once he felt his arm dislocated he quickly steadied it and pushed hard as it popped back into place. His hand tightened it's grip all the more. The punches to the face were too soft to do real damage. he might get a black eye but as they continued he headbutt her fist at the same time. Kegin had a hard head and he used it. Then he threw her to the ground and was on her quickly. He pinned her by the throat and glarred down at her. The blood coming off him made him look all the more dangerous. Now he really looked like the evil that was Rogin. He chuckled low and puched hard, aiming for her stomach, then again at her face. He decided to stop playing.
Veran saw what was happening. He was impressed. Kegin actually slightly startled him. Once he saw Talavi go to the floor with Kegin on her, for the second time he felt fear in his life. But this time it wasn't for his own safety. Veran let go of Tia and stood, running he went for Kegin. He yelled and pulled Knives to use against him.
Kegin reacted faster then Veran thought. The boy was off Talavi and had a fist in Veran's stomach, grabbed his arm and quickly broke it by the elbow. His arm hung limp as he staggered away. He stood ready to fight with his good arm. Konta used this to pick up Talavi and take her back to the cave. Rogin grabbed Tia and followed. Once Veran was sure the rest were safe Veran turned and ran. He ran for his life.

Tali groaned in pain, softly. She was badly hurt, almost dead. This was punishment enough. She would never do that again. Go up against a man that had seemingly more experince than her. She didn't talk to anyone but Veran for a while. She was ashamed to show he face to Rogin. This was the fifth time she had displeased him. She couldn't deal with it. She sighed as she averted Rogin's gaze. She had reverted back to being a shy, timid little creature with all but Veran. She lost her confidence. A tear fell from her face. Not for her dead father but for how she acted. Whenever she gets in a rage, she goes off and does what she want instead if thinking logically.
Her body hurt. All of her hurt really bad.

Veran was unable to be near her in a while. he had injuries of his own to take care of. Konta wasn't a master at healing but he knew enough to keep his people alive. When he was sure she would be ok he left her alone. Veran had his arm slung and bound. He wanted to be sure it healed right. Once night came he went to see Talavi. He had a few words to talk to her about.

Tali was even afriad to talk to Veran. She had no reason too but she was. She cleared her throat and tried a smile.
"I guess you don't want to talk me either. I don't blame you for that." she growled. "I lost my confidence and my pride because of what I did." She sighed. "That's enough punishment." Her voice wasn't as strong anymore, wasn't as quick. "Without confidence, what good am I? A whole lot of nothing! I am useless. Face it, I thought I did really well but I'll never be good enough, will I? Not for Him, not for anybody. I didn't measure up. Do you think Rogin would keep a miserable, ugly, wretch like me who can't stay out of trouble? It's this rage. When I get it, I lose all control of my senses. To displease Rogin is one thing, but you...Veran, you I can't stand to disappoint. I love you, Veran." She sighed sadly and turned away from him, feeling really bad and ashamed. Her voice did indeed lost her confidence and even some authority.
"I have failed Rogin and the Family. That was a once in a lifetime chance to show Him and the rest of you that I -can- be of some use and I blew it. I wish I was more like Tia and in control of my anger. shells me so go ahead, tell me I was stupid. Tell me I was a fool to go against Kegin. So do with me what you will. I tried to get into the Weyr to gather information on it and then bring it back to Rogin, therefore proving my usefulness. Next time, if there is one, I will not go alone. I doubt that Rogin will keep me alive so might as well do it for him." She took one of her knives and posied it to strike her heart.
