Kegin was walking the weyr and was tireds of the work he had to do. He decided to have a break and went to the outskirts of the forest just outside of the weyr. He knew enough to keep himself safe. If his brother decided to try and attack him he would be able to run. Even if Konta's canine went after him. Kegin sighed and sat in an open grass and began to relax. But his eyes kept scanning around him for anyone he didn't know.

Tali was out walking in the forest, enjoying the scenery. She sat on the end of the forest, just out side the weyr. She was giggling and running. She just wanted to run, for no apparent reason. She jumped over a rock and tripped over a tree root. She sat there and laughed and laughed hard. She got up and ran again and she jumped over another rock and climbed a tree, chuckled and ate a meatroll she had with her.

Kegin didn't miss anything. His eyes saw someone run and then fall. HE was on alert as the person climbed a tree. From the sound it was a girl, she wouldn't be a threat unless for some reason his brother took females into his group, which wasn't probable. Rogin hated woman in the sense of him thinking them only good in the furs. He would let them join his family. Kegin tried to relax but the girl being near by bothered him. He stood and went to a tree where he got a branch just longer then himself. Kegin took out a belt knife and stripped the bark and off shoots. He wasn't taking chances.

Tali thought to run again, she climbed down after finishing he meatroll. She whirled as she danced. She was giggling and laughing still. She ran as she jumped over another rock and then she disppeared in to the forest. She hummed happily. She didn't know who Kegin was or else she wouldn't have approached. She came from behind and her knife at his throat.
"Who are you? What do you want here? Talk or I slit your throat!" Tali warned.

Kegin chuckled. "You must be new. From the way you move in the Forest you belong to Rogin. I am truly sorry for you." Kegin was quick. Turns of dealing with Rogin and his man made him that way. Kegin grabbed the knife hand and pulled it from his neck. The smithcraft had made him increasingly strong. He bent her arm and put it behind her back as he became stomach to stomach with her. His eyes looked into hers and he felt nothing but pity for her. She was a fool to join with his brother. "Now the question is who are you and what should I do with you? I know the others, Rogin, Konta, Veran, but you I don't know." He wasn't afraid of her. He hated her.
Kegin looked into her eyes and waited for an answer.

Tali narrowed her eyes.
"Who are you to ask me who I am? Indeed. What -should- you do with me?" She hissed. She spit in his face. "Let go of me you jerk!" She struggled to get free. "Why do you feel sorry for me?"

Kegin whipped his face with his free hand. He decided that her fate was deserved. "You know what maybe it is a good idea for you to be with Rogin. But if by some chance you ever think you are in love with him then you are saddly cheated. He cares nothing about you. He only cares for himself. Don't forget that." Kegin released her and pushed her from him. His hand accidently pressing against her breast. Kegin didn't care. She will learn soon enough who he was. He picked up the makeshift staff and backed away from her in case she decided to attack him.

"Rogin loves me." Tali said and then thought about what he said. She approached and put her hand on his staff. "If what you say is true, then my life is danger. How do you not care about your life when one controls it? I do not want to fight you, sir. You are obviously most skilled than I. Just talk. What have you against Rogin? Maybe if I knew, I would make another choice." She put her hand up. She had 3 more knives but she she didn't want him to know that.

Kegin looked at her and chuckled. "I am surprised you don't know. I am Kegin. Rogin's little brother. He wishs me dead only because my parents loved me and kept me when they gave him up to foster. Other then that I only wish to live. He only wants me dead." Kegin looked at her and lifted a brow. "You are in no danger as long as you keep him happy. Do you really believe he loves you?" he asked.

She sighed as she remember Tiaholt going into Rogin's room and how she felt but then he took care of her when she was weak and needed love.
"I am Talavi. Tali for short. That hardly seems fair to do that." she said. "You wanna meatroll?"

Kegin looked at her, "No thank you." he said. Kegin watched her and was sure something was up. He didn't trust anyone that believed his brother loved them. But of course Rogin was good at lying, he might have made her believe him. Kegin sighed and looked at her, "So how did you meet my brother?"

"Well, my father was abusive, physically and verbally. One night, he chased me into that Forest and Rogin and Konta had me kill him. They decided to take me in as a drudge." She rolled her eyes. "A Drudge! Can you beleive that?" she laughed. "He saved me."
Tali was eyeing him, looking up and down. She smirked and she approached. She kissed him on the lips.

Kegin moved away as soon as their lips touched. He was ready if she tried to attack him. He had the make-shift staff pointed at her, ready to use. He didn't trust her just yet. "What are you getting at? So you are only a drudge to them?"

"Yup. That's what I said. I am thier newest." She backed away. "I just wanted to see what you tasted like." She crawled up a tree and sighed. "I told you I am not going attack. But if you don't trust me....." She jumped from tree from where she was to a another tree not too far off. She missed the jump and fell on the ground and hard!
"Ow! That hurt! That /really/ hurt! A bit over confident, that's what that was!" She moaned in pain. "That wasn't funny. Well, as I saying..it's too bad that you don't trust me." She grunted as she got up. "I really thought we could becomes friends but if you don't want to, there is always the alternative. I don't necessary agree with that. I don't want to kill you, Kegin. You have done nothing to deserve that. I just want to talk. That's all. I will not use any weapons. I came to you unarmed and can you really live with yourself if you kill me? All I want to do is to talk and you have to come barring your........-stick-" she hit the staff. "I am the good person trying to make peace with you and all -you- do is aim that damned, blasted stick at me." She sighed and headed back, shaking her head.

Kegin looked at her and grinned. "Really? You expect me to just let one of my brothers people close to me. He has tried to kill me for turns. If you want to talk then what do you want to know? I have the scars to prove I shouldn't trust a renegade. Even Konta and his canine took a bite out of me." Kegin lowered the stick and watched her.

She stopped as she grinned. She had him. She turned. "Look, if I wanted you dead, you would be already. Doesn't that say anything? I already told you that I wouldn't attack and that's what I meant."

Kegin chuckled, "Funny. That isn't anything. You are completely cracked if you think you can take me. Rogin hasn't taught you yet. It will be fun to see you try." Kegin looked at her. "Ok then tell me what you want to talk to me about."

"First, I want you to trust me. I am looking for a change. I'm tired of being a drudge." She approached him. "You're right. Rogin does care about nothing but himself." She turned and scanned the area, slowly. She ate a nut and that was appartently a signal to whoever was watching. She shook her head showing them that she didn't mean anything that she said. It was all a ruse. She was trying to 'pretend' to be good and at the last moment........she would disappear and go to Rogin giving him the information he had gathered. She was doing this all her own. "You just are itchin for an attack aren't you? I am cracked but not so much as to do a foolish thing like that." She narrowed eyes as an arrow went straight for his head. "Kegin! No!" She rushed him and knocked him down. The arrow hit the tree, barely missing his ear.
Tali smiled as she was on top of him and rolled off.

Kegin looked at Talavi when she spoke. He wasn't going to believe anything. He didn't want to. When she went for him he was ready to fight, But then he noticed the arrow. As she went to him he fell back in perfect sync. He made it look like she tackled him. He looked at her surprised and then the arrow in the tree. He stood and scanned the treeline. He knew his brother and his men. This wasn't one of them. "TIA I KNOW YOU ARE THERE!" He yelled. He looked at Talavi, "Looks like you were followed. I am starting to think you really do want to leave." Kegin looked at Talavi with the same eyes Rogin has, proving he was his brothers brother. He looked into Talavi's eyes and grabbed her arm hard, his hands thick with muscle. "What is he up to now?"

Again she looked up at where the arrow was coming and stretched and scratched behind her ear and smiled. He eyes showed that showed that they were lying. She made Kegin believe that she was the newest recruit and didn't know anything.
Tia took aim and shot another arrow. This time it almost hit Tali! "Hey! Great. Now they're trying kill me too! I don't like being a target." She saw the look in his eyes and laughed. "You don't scare me. I came to you or help. If you don't want to help, I guess I'll go back and seal my fate. I just saved your life, Kegin but your just like your brother! Cold and heartless!" She leaned up against a tree. "I have seen the look of death many, many times but not once did He train me." She was lying and doing a very good job of it. "I'm beginning to think that he only wanted me for a good feck."
"Give her up, Kegin!" a voice from the treeline exclaimed.
