Why do we come here? I am not aware of a hatching? Soranith asked.
No no, my dragon. Nothing of the sort. Relina responded kindly.
Then why do we come? Soranith repeated, annoyed.
Because I wish to remember. I wish to remember all that has happened in my life, what made it good.
Can you not do that anyway?
I can, but being in the places where pleasant things happened, it helps, it makes me feel good. I cannot explain it beyond that.
I understand, a little. Will they do the same for me? Soranith asked her rider.
Perhaps, perhaps not. I do not know my dear, but I will help you if you like, now, let us be silent, we are near.
As she approached the sands, many thoughts crept into the head of Greenrider Relina. Having non-violent contact with a creature for the first time, the time she met her wonderful Zorn. Said blue popped up next to her and perched himself happily on his beloved's shoulder. She reached up and gently stroked him, feeling the love of her first true friend.
Of course the little one loves you. Soranith loves you, Mine is our world, Mine is our life, never forget that.Commanded the green dragon who walked next to her rider. Relina smiled and looked at Soranith, reaching a hand out to her and placing it behind her head. She vividly remembered the time she Impressed her sassy green, it seemed as if it were only yesterday, she was tackled into the warm sands by her loving green. That day had changed her life forever, for the better.
Oh much better. Soranith, Zorn, my dears, I care so much for you both. You`ll be in my heart always.
And we you. Soranith said softly. Zorn chirped and looked at Relina with love in his eyes.

Mosaic chittered madly as he awkwardly flew to the hatching grounds. Catilena struggled to keep up with him.
"Oh, oh dear, I need to lose some weight! Mosaic! Mosaic come here! You are out of your mind! What is going on? Mosaic! Please stop!" Catilena pleaded with her flitter, but he refused to obey her. He continued to lead his bonded to the hatching caverns.
Catilena wanted to take a peek at the hatching sands, where hopefully her dragon would be waiting soon. She thought she would entertain Mosaic by telling him to race her, but she never realized just how fast her flitter would be!
Note to self, don`t try to outrun a flying fire-lizard when you are not in shape to do so. She thought as she finally caught up to him.

Catilena slowly crept onto the sands, her wily flit in her arms. She looked around and it wasn`t until a quiet peep from a dragon that she noticed something that made her heart stop.
"Relina... Oh my sister, where did you come from? Oh, I am so glad you`re safe!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mine, someone is here. Soranith informed Relina. She gave a quiet peep to inform the intruder that they were not alone.
Relina looked and saw the startled face of Catilena. When Catilena started speaking, All of Relina`s good feeling disappeared, to be replaced by rage.
"WHAT! Admin's Note:
Where did you come from! Admin's Note:
Why are you here! Admin's Note:
" Relena roared at her sister. Soranith and Zorn began to growl and shift in their stance, influenced by her anger.
D'car was in the stands, keeping to himself. It was one of the few places he found where he knew he wouldn't be bothered much. He simply stared out at the sands before him. To think he had sat here some time ago wondering if he'd ever impress or not. Now he had his brown, though he was a bit of a beast. Dominant, aggressive, they were odd qualities for a brown. Or so D'car thought.
He was also pleased that the only time these sands seemed all that occupied was when there was a hatching. And with one just passed, he enjoyed the peace and quiet. Mine, others are here. D'car rolled his eyes and looked over to spot Relina. No one he had really been introduced to, but D'car made it a habit of not being introduced to people.
Whatever. As long as I get my peace and quiet. D'car simply went back to thinking again. There were times when a person simply felt like thinking on various things and that wave hit D'car every now and again. When you had the personality type that drove most people away, you tended to find it alot more. I do not understand your distaste for humans. You are human. The brown never could figure out D'car's reasoning. But even with a bonded, D'car tended to keep some things to himself. You'll understand eventually. D'car responded simply and with that detached, unemotional tone.
The brown simply grunted and dropped the conversation. He hoped eventually was soon, impatient thing. But just when D'car was ready to lose himself in thought again, he heard shouting. Oh wasn't that just peachy. That girl did end up ruining his peace and quiet. D'car knew he had high hopes. Oh, this seems interesting. Do not flee, mine. Stay and watch things develop.
Of course just because the brown dropped the subject didn't mean he wasn't paying attention to his rider. D'car wanted to scowl, but decided to heed his dragon this time and watch from his place in the stands. His quiet time was disrupted, might as well get a show out of this.
Catilena shrank at her sister's fury and grew nervous from the green dragon's growls. A blue flitter sat on Relina's shoulder and their eyes were a blood red. Mosaic hissed at the confronting girl and her creatures and it took everything Catilena had to keep him from launching himself at them.
"Relina, please, I know you are upset with father, and I understand you are upset with me, but please, give me a chance to explain, please. Calm your dragon, she frightens me!" She begged, backing away from the angry green.
Mosaic, please, calm yourself, come to me, stay with me, don`t be angry! She said to her flit, who flooded her mind with a sea of red. Mosaic cheeped loudly and reluctantly flew off her shoulder, allowing himself to be caught by her. She clutched him tightly to her chest for comfort as the raging red waters in her mind ebbed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Feeling an anger from her creatures that was not their own, Relina attempted to calm herself. She had not meant to get so angry but the sight of her sister had reopened old wounds in her heart, Catilena reminded her of her very painful past, but mostly their abusive father who clearly favored her older sister over herself. She felt little pity when her sister begged her to calm her dragon, but she attempted to nonetheless, for a dragon attack on her own sister would not be good for her nor the weyr.
Soranith, hush. Relina calmly asked her.
But she angers mine! I must protect mine! Soranith roared in Relina's head. Relina shook it and persisted.
Be calm, she angers me, yes, but she is not a threat. Hush. She continued.
Oh, very well then! Soranith said, unwillingly backing down.
With her dragon sorted out, Relina turned her attention back to her sister and folded her arms across her chest.
"Very well, explain then." She growled at her cowering sister.

(OOC: Ok, feel free to close this bad boy girls, we are DONE)
Clutching Mosaic close to her chest, Catilena took a deep breath and straightened herself.
"Relina, when Father failed to return without you, I was devastated. I refused to put up with him any longer. I grabbed my things and I just walked out on him. He tried to stop me, but I just went right on through. I searched for a long time to find a weyr to take me in and I happened upon DarkMoon. I had NO idea you were alive and now that I see you are, I am so glad, and relieved. Please, sister. Give me a chance. Allow me to show you that I mean you no harm." Catilena begged, her memories flashing through both her head and Mosaic's.
From giving up her food to doing Relina`s chorse for her, Catilena and Mosaic relived every moment, good and bad. She desperately wanted her sister to accept her, for after her, Catilena had no family left, their father being disowned.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Relina listened intently on her sister's words, her dragon and firelizard seeming distracted by another force. Relina did remember that her sister was never outright mean to her, but then again, she had never done anything for her during their time at the old hold. When her sister concluded. Relina put on a blank mask. Just because her sister wanted a chance to clear her image to her, that didn`t mean Relina would give it without a fight, or at least without a VERY good reason.
"And my reason for giving you this chance would be? I am not too fond of Father," she spat the title like it was an unpleasent chunk of food in her mouth. "And you had NEVER tried to defend me to him at all, what`s to say that you won`t betray me and hurt me deeply when I let my guard down?" She scolded her silent sister. Suddenly, Soranith`s and Zorn`s presence could be felt in her mind.
Mine, there is something you should see, read the little ones thoughts, he has something from the other's firelizard that may interest you. Soranith told her calmly. Relina grew curious as to what her dragon had meant and she suddenly felt an explosion of memories flow into her from Zorn. Catilena taking Relina`s basket and harvesting crops for her when she collapsed, stuffing extra food in a sack under Relina`s miserable excuse for a pillow.
Sh-she cares? relina wondered, stunned at what Zorn was showing her from the brown flit.
It would appear so. What are you going to do? Soranith inquired, interested in this turn of events.
Relina closed her eyes and breathed deeply, then opened them again and looked toward her sister with a softer gaze.
"I always wondered why my worked was magically finished, and why I kept finding extra food. Very well. I shall give you this chance, only because you more than earned it. Do not betray my trust, sister." She said, struggling with that last word. "Come Soranith, time for you to be oiled." Relina turned on her heels and walked out of the sands, leaving a bewildered, yet very glad Catilena behind.
