K'laht screamed in pain and and dropped from 5 feet off the ground. His dragon felt it but he knew he wasn't strong enough to do anything to protect his Rider. The knife dropped and he was left as soon as the whistle came. After that, he lay there for a few moments. If he went to the Infirmary, he would sure get lectured to but this injury would sure to get infected if he didn't.
With a quick nod, he ran to the Infirmary to get his arm looked at. ----------- Without notice, a canine attacked Sh'vian. She scoffed. She didn't really enjoy the canine's company.
'Canines....great! What next?' she thought to herself. She tried to hide her fear all too well but it was to no avail. She was terrified of the Canine, that much was evident. Her arms came up and protect her face.

[Honestly, I'm REALLY confused as to what's going on at this point. I'm just going to go with Akki's train of thought and have Tanwen help someone else out~
Also, I don't care if people decided to skip me, I'm putting what Tanwen would have done in the reaction to the attack on her.]
When the punch was aimed at her chin, Tanwen immediately felt her muscles move with the flow of the attack. She tipped backwards, bringing her arms up and over and kicking off from the ground in a graceful, almost dancelike movement. The punch would graze just barely past her face, and as she continued her flip she would attempt to bring her feet up and place a kick solidly into the man's stomach.
She finished her flip and landed on her feet just as the other man showed up and placed himself nearby. Tanwen looked over to Akki at her comment, then back to the G'han. She followed Akki's gaze then to the other boys fighting against one of the other armed man, then looked back to the bluerider at her 'claim'. "I'll leave you to it then," she said, and turned to sprint towards the other group. The boys were really taking a beating - luckily it looked like one of them (K'laht) was making a getaway. She gave him a nod when she passed him. When she reached the others in the brawl she slid to a solid stop by those fighting, facing their opponent. "Looked like you could use a hand," she said simply.
[Tanwen doesnt' know many of their names, but I sent her over to where people were fighting...Rogin, I think. Whoever K'laht just ran from.]

G'han looked at the man strangely. There was a fight breaking out, knives and such involved, and he wanted G'han to just walk away and leave them alone? Had he hit his head and gone dull? "Oh. Sorry to interrupt. I'll just leave and let you beat people up and cut them. Because that's what I'm suppose to do", G'han replied sarcastically.
He looked the man over, then back to Akki. "Not much of a man if all you want to do is beat up girls. Neither do you have the normal social graces if you expect me, wingleader G'han, to leave a brawl in the middle of my weyr and home. You really must have had too much to drink", G'han continued his response.
"Veran? That's this guy's name. That V mark on your arm. He gave that to you, didn't he? Makes sense", that was G'han's only response to that. Now he REALLY didn't like this guy. He was already in a bad mood when he had found out about it, and Akki's evasion to his questions only fueled his frustrations. "Oh, and we're into cutting gals too, are we? Well aren't we a real charmer. A manly man. I won't say this again. Leave and don't come back", G'han warned again, and he wasn't really willing to say it a third time.

Veran was impressed with Tanwan's moves and was glad she was leaving. Now if only this man would as well.
Veran lifted a brow and chuckled. "Well then dear wingleader, I suggest you aid the dragon who is in danger. I am sure Akki and Tanwan can handle me. But that Greenrider and Weyrling are in bad shape." Veran looked at G'han and rolled his eyes. "You are underestimating reality. Yes I marked her, so she will remember me as well as so I can find her no matter how she may change in appearance. I believe in finishing what I start. Now if you don't mind I would like to see the end of this. Akki and I have unfinished business and a real gentleman would allow a woman to see her deeds to the end. Tanwan here won't leave so I will allow her to stay."
"If you believe me a fool then you are the bigger. I will never underestimate a woman in a fight. Much like I am sure you do. You do not respect women enough to think they are as capable of fending for themselves as men are." Veran stood and was ready to fight the women once more. ------------------------------- Kegin gasped breaths as he could. "Sh'vian get out of here. They want to kill dragons. Yours is in danger." he warned. And as Tanwan ran to them he shook his head. "Please leave. He isn't a normal person. Konta will come for you. Leave this man to me." he wanted nobody else hurt. Konta will at least keep someone busy without aiming to hurt them.

Sh'vian sighed and didn't want to go but knew that she had to, for the sake of Diragyth and hers. Not understanding and stubborn, she would not leave Kegin's side.
Love, get out of here! I can handle them. she warned.
Diragyth heeded her Riders words and left.
"You will? I would be careful of the words you say. Unlike the Weyrling, I am a more experienced fighter and will not turn down a challenge." Sh'vian turned to Konta and Rogin. "On the other hand, if you your too afraid...." he grinned at the two men. -------------- Falienhth knew His had been hurt. He was disappointed in his lifemate but was glad that he went to the Infirmary, lecture or no.
He didn't want to but he knew he had to leave. K'laht felt like abandoning his friend when he needed him the most. He stopped along the way and looked back to asses the situation.
He saw the Green get hurt as well. What are they after? Why are they here and who are they? A bombardment of unanswered questions filled his mind as he began to analyze the scene. If they came attacking just one person and not the whole Weyr. That is foolish to attack only one. There must be more to it than that but what? K'laht liked to pick apart things and see what they really are. He studied them, all of them very closely.
He shook his head and continued on. He could not figure it out so he put it in the back of his mind for now.

G'han threw back his head and laughed. "Oh you really have had too much to drink. You think the gentlemanly thing for me to do is to back down and let you fight a couple of girls? One of whom is my best friend and the other a weyrling?", G'han tried to stifle the laughing. But this was just too much.
"You have a very warped sense of reality to think that you can go around and do whatever you like. Including trying to tell me to leave, but yet a weyrling girl can stay?", G'han continued. This was really too much. This person knew nothing of social norms. A gentlemanly thing to do? That was rich. And now he was assuming to know something about him.
"And now? Hahaha. And now you try to tell me how I treat girls? You carve a letter in one gal's arm. And try to fight her and yet another girl as well. Excuse me if I don't adhere to your woman abuser lifestyle", he continued. This guy must have been really messed up. The whole lot of them must have been full of themselves to start a fight with so few knowing the weyr had consequences about this sort of thing. Now it seemed atleast one of them didn't want that consequence. Well if you do the crime then you do the time.

Akki’s mouth twitched, slowly growing into her usual cocky, lopsided grin. “You wanna see my spirit, boy?” She laughed, grinning at Veran. Didn’t this man know what he was asking for? “My spirit is blue and if he wakes up? Oooh, you’re going to regret everything.” She finished her sentence with her hands on her hips, “Now. Do you really want me to show you my ‘spirit?’
She rolled her eyes at G’han’s spiel and winked at her friend, “You just always want to show off your title of Wingleader, don’t you?”. However her good nature disappeared when G’han learned the truth behind the ‘V’ on her arm. She winced slightly; she had been hoping that the man never found out. Especially not in this manner. Akki scoffed at Veran, “Change my appearance? I’m not the type to disguise myself.” She actually sounded disgusted that he would suggest such a thing.
Her hand fluttered away from her hips and landed softly on G’hans arm as she smiled politely at him. “Come on now G’han, didn’t I call dibs? You know the rules; he’s mine.” She removed her hand and made her finger wiggle the classic ‘Come here’ signal to Veran, “Our business will be finished enough.”

K'laht had fallen when the canine intercepted him. He dropped the knife and himself five feet off the ground and landed on his side. The bite on the arm hurt badly. Although it wasn't bleeding, he thought it best for a healer look at it. With a quick nod toward Kegin, he ran towards the Infirmary. He stopped for a few moments to see why the mysterious greenrider hadn't followed and to watch. He tilted his head a bit to the left and narrowed his eyes. His inexperienced eyes didn't pick up all that they should have. He missed several points.
He shook his head and then looked down at his arm. It was bleeding now. Not too bad, but just enough for someone to notice it. ---------------------------------- Sh'vian looked at Konta. She narrowed her eyes, looking at Rogin. The canine attack was not necessary but understandable. She wasn't really afraid of the canine itself but the viciousness of the creature. She put her hand up in front of her face as protection. She made no attempt to retaliate against the canine.
She gazed at the canine, terrified. Her fear was hidden until now. It became known to everyone. She had tried so hard to prevent it but it came out anyway.

OOC: Wait a minute, a flitt would NOT attack a dragon! I haven't read all of this but from what I've read, this is getting out of hand. A dragon wouldn't attack a human except to prevent it from hurting its chosen. I didn't read the whole thing so I don't know if that happened or not but this was not what was sent to me in the description of what was supposed to happen.

Tanwen eyed the man called Rogin, catching the glint of the knife right away. She looked over to Kegin as he kept insisting to be left on his own. "Handle it if you want," she said after a long moment of thought,"but I'll be nearby - and I will step in if you look like you need it." She wasn't going to step away when other weyrlings and candidates - Weyrfolk in general! - were in danger, but she would respect that he wanted to fight his own battle.
Tanwen instead turned her attention to where the canine was intently thrashing at K'laht's arm. Figuring she'd give him help, she quickly sifted through her thoughts for some plan of action. She was no beast handler, but she outright hated it when anyone thought to use an animal like this - it was sick. And handler or not, she knew enough about how the canine mind and hierarchy worked. Tanwen had a hunch that the canine's owner probably abused him into being trained anyway.
Pressing quickly off the weyrbowl ground, Tanwen dashed at where the canine was attacking K'laht. She darted her hand forward to get a good grip on the animal's scruff. In the same moment she gripped around the animal's muzzle and squeezed enough to force his mouth open. As soon as his teeth were out of K'laht's arm she put her weight into pulling the canine backwards and flipping him on his back. In practically the same moment, Tanwen let herself onto the canine's stomach. She used her arm to press under his muzzle and against his throat - NOT enough to choke the beast, but to hold it's head back and down. The other hand was still grasped tightly onto the canine's scruff, and she was practically sitting on the rest of the canine. She met the canine's eyes levelly, and simply stared at him - her peripheral vision was keeping an eye on the others in the area.
[Whoo for melo-dramatic post! Meh. I'm so freaking lost I went for one of the things I could easily understand how to deal with.
I needed to channel some of my anger at the guy through Tanwen - I also really freaking hate it when dogs are abused like that.
And oho, you can BET I'll be looking for a realistic reaction from that canine, Mc. If you're rping with a canine, you need to understand how canines work.]

Konta never abused his canine to train him. It is a result of a bonding together where neither had enough to eat and both fended for each other. Ferik was Konta's best friend and treated him as such. When Ferik was thrown he let out a yelp and tried to quickly get up, only to have the girl on top of him. Ferik began kicking with his paws trying to get this thing off of him as well as trying to shake his head from her grip. He continued to whine and kicking anywhere on her he could. His eyes were sad and angry. Konta heard the cries and went for Tanwan. His club swinging, aiming at her ribs to get her off his canine. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Veran was getting completely agitated by this new rider. He wanted to plunge a dagger into his gut and watch the life drain from him. But hopefully Akki would do that for him. She seemed to have gotten ride of the other female. "Shall we continue our business?" he asked Akki. It seemed he was speaking polite but really he was trying to ignore the man. Maybe if Tia or Talavi were here it would be easier.

Akki wanted to look to see what Tanwen was doing – she could see a blur of motion where the girl had been standing and heard the yelps of a canine. She so badly wanted to look but at the same time, she didn’t want to take her eyes off of Veran. It was simply too much of a risk.
She stepped in front of G’han, her head tilted slightly to the side as she smiled at Veran. “Yes, let’s.” She took note of the fact that Veran avoided any questions or statements that she had said that involved Ebbeth. Which was good, she really didn’t want to see the blue go into a fit of rage – not here. There were too many renegades and she didn’t want to take the risk of Ebbeth getting injured by one of them. If he was going to get involved, she wanted it to happen where there was less of a commotion going on around.
“However, keep in mind that I’m really not happy right now. You ruined my good mood and I do believe you’re putting my friend Kegin in danger. That’s not exactly okay with me.” She reached into the sleeve of her dress and pulled out a tie, effectively putting her hair up in a runners tail – an odd sight considering the bluerider rarely had her hair up. “And like I said before, even if you get away now I’ll still go out and find you.”

G'han looked back at Akki. "Fine. But I see you slip, and I'm back in this", he told her begrudgingly. He didn't want to leave Akki to fight by herself, not with a man who already carved a V into her arm. He didn't want the rest of his name carved into her. He looked over at Veran with a look of disgust.
He could try something if he wanted against G'han, but it wouldn't go like he planned. G'han had been trained since he was a boy. He had fought nearly anyone from renegades to large, drunken men. He won, he even killed when it was necessary. Old feelings crept into G'han. The old G'han that itched for a fight. But no, he'd let Akki handle this one for now. He would go help the weyrling. May Akki's training aid her.
He turned to see Tanwen muzzle the dog. Whoever that other guy was, looked like some thug friend of this Veran guy, didn't seem to like that. As Akki walked infront of him, G'han dashed off to aid Tanwen. He saw the man go to swing his club. From behind, G'han went for a roundhouse kick to his back as he aimed to smash the club at Tanwen.
"What is it with you thugs picking on these gals?", G'han asked rhetorically, mostly to himself. Scumbags, they had to be. So far they just wanted to fight a boy and a couple of gals. G'han hoped that Andilay might actually show up soon. Her and her friend Rayn were trained swordswomen. They'd be handy in a fight. The weyrleader or weyrwoman might be good for putting some order and punishment down too. But for now, until someone else decided to arrive, he'd have to just go with what was given.

Veran was all to happy to see G'han leave. He looked at Akki, "So Kegin really is your friend. I see. What makes he any concern of yours?" he asked. Veran chuckled and moved for a better angle. He wanted her to see Kegin the whole time they fought. Once the correct angle was made he moved fluidly to her, arms coming out aiming for sternum or chest. He wanted her beaten and then forced to watch whatever Rogin had in mind for Kegin. It would be all the more enjoyable. ------------------------------------------ Kegin was starting to get some of his wind back, but so it seemed was Rogin. The brothers watched each other and Kegin noticed tanwan attacking Ferik. That will not end well for her. Konta loved his canine. Any harm to him would end in disaster. His focus went back to Rogin. He was getting a bit nervous. Why was his brother taking so long to attack? Something was amiss.

“Have some faith in me, won’t you?” She shot back at G’han with her infamous crooked grin. Actually, she didn’t have much faith in herself but she wanted to fight Veran one on one. There was a high chance of her losing but she refused to back down when it came to the renegade. She felt bad for G’han – she knew that the bronzerider wanted to pummel Veran and she was robbing him of his chance. She was also pretty sure that she would have some explaining to do after all this was over.
Having Akki face Kegin was a dirty tactic. Half of her attention was split now; she was focusing on the renegade and Kegin at the same time. “Like I said, he’s my friend so therefore he’s also my concern. I’d ask if you knew anything about friends but I think the answer is obvious.” She retorted with a slight sneer. Her attention was suddenly all on Veran when he lunged forwards, his arms outstretched. Akki was seconds away from being hit again but thankfully she threw herself to the ground, crouching low as she aimed her elbow at the back of Veran’s knees. She could only hope that with some luck her elbow would make contact and the force would make the renegade stumble.
“I may not be the best fighter but Faranth, are you annoying me.”

[Darn. I was looking for a dominance stair-off, since Tanwen was acting like some alpha dog would have to him.
I would also like to point out that it should be pretty obvious to everyone watching (character-wise) that Tanwen is NOT HURTING the dog. She pulled it off of someone that it was trying to RIP TO SHREADS, and then pinned it - you know, in the way that anyone who knows how to deal with dogs would discipline a puppy. I mean, God, she SCRUFFED the thing. That's all! Scruffed it, and pinned it on it's back. The only mildly threatening thing she did to the dog was stare DIRECTLY at it's eyes, and I mean really, it's not like Tanwen was lazer vision.]
She saw movement out of the corner of her eye and heard the man's footseps hammering along the ground as he moved closer. Tanwen felt her muscles tense in anticipation for movement, but in the last moment before she'd have moved to try and dodge G'han came running up and lending a hand. She hadn't moved from where she had the canine pinned yet, and with the bit of time that G'han had bought her she turned her attention to stare it in the eyes again. She was hoping to make it clear - in the dog's pack-mentality, anyway - that she was alpha here, and he was not to touch the members of 'her pack' again.
[No guys, that doesn't mean tanwen thinks she's queen of the weyr, i just typed it up in dog-mind-talk]
Once she'd given the canine one last good stare, she gave the scruff one last squeeze, and then quickly let go and leapt back and away from the canine to give it room to recoup. At that point she looked back to where G'han had confronted the other man, and she came over to stand beside him - again, better to stand near an alli in something like this. She also made sure to keep a peripheral eye on Kegin and Akki's fight.

Konta was a large built man. Though the blow hit home hard it didn't bother him. He wanted a piece of Tanwan. Once she was off Ferik the Canine rolled to his feet and went to Konta. he was by no means a pup and his pride took a blow. Konta pat the canines head and together they looked at the two riders. Next to Konta, Ferik was once again himself. He growled low, barring his teeth and ready to strike. He moved in slowly and low.
Konta followed his canine friend and attacked G'han. Though the Club he was wielding was large, it did not seem to impede Konta's movement. Together the pair struck out at the pair. Ferik jumping at Tanwan's throat and Konta aiming to bash in G'han's head.

So the man was large? That was the whole point of G'han kicking him in the back. No matter what the size of the opponent, a hard kick to the back would have devastating affects to the spine if it did hit home hard. On a larger man, who's spine had to support greater girth, this meant it was more affective. To shrug it off like it was nothing meant the man was not human at all, he would have to be in some sort of god-like mode.
Either way, he got the man's attention. Konta was a large man and he wielded a big club. It'd be easy for the man to wield it, but G'han was still quick. He rolled to the side, the club slamming down inches away from his left arm as he rolled to the side and out of the way. The bronzerider had fought before, he grew up fighting. Fighting was in his blood. He would remain calm, but it was a bit difficult for his muscles to not tense up a bit. His friends were in danger here.
Seeing the man as he were, a large man wielding a big club, he had an idea from where to attack. From out of the roll, G'han stood up only to rush at the man's left side and roll to the ground again so that he could kick in a wide horizantal motion. The kick was aimed just above his knee. Jumping over the kick would be near impossible and G'han had enough reach with his legs so that he couldn't step away from it either to dodge it altogether.
He continued to roll through with the kick and spring up so that from the original position they had been in, when Konta swung the club to bash G'han's head in, he would be behind and slightly to the left of Konta's original position then.
