Rogin had decided now would be a good time to visit the Weyr. He had heard from his flit it was the day after a large celebration so the guards would be more lax. Or maybe even still drunk and having a hard time focusing on duty, either was fine with him. He told Veran and Konta he needed them to come along. For what Rogin had planned he might need them to keep others away. Rogin planned on using his tie with that rider to get him inside. The three Renegades made their way from their home to the Weyr. Rogin, as expected, was stopped by guards and asked for reason of Visit. He told them he had business with a Greenrider that was more or less a friend of his. Then he added that his Little brother was at the hatching and wanted to see if he impressed or not. He hadn't heard anything the day of so he decided to surprise him with a visit today.
The guard agreed and let them in. Together the Renegades moved quickly and quietly. By some point they found themselves inside the Weyr Bowl and the size impressed them. Rogin looked around and what he saw was rather unexpected.
-------------------------------------------------------------- Kegin was trying to relax, tired of others saying they were sorry he didn‘t impress. He wanted to find a nice place to relax and just watch what was going on. Kegin found a rather good place in the Weyr Bowl. It was solitary but offered a great view of dragons and new weyrlings alike. Kegin smiled and just enjoyed his time watching.
True he was rather sad he didn't impress but there was always next time. Kegin would stand till his age refused him. With a chuckle Kegin began to relax. He was safe and well fed and just content. He scanned the Bowl when he saw a man that made his blood run cold. How? How could that man be in the Weyr? Of all places.
-------------------------------------------------------------- Veran was excited to be in the weyr. A beautiful woman still had his eyes looking for her as they walked around into the weyr. It had been some time since he marked her. He kind of hoped she didn’t forget him. Veran knew he would have enjoyed himself if that sharding boy didn’t come around. Veran knew little of Kegin but what he did know impressed him a bit.
He knew in a fair fight Kegin had the upper hand. He had been dealing with the Monster of a boss Veran had found for a number of turns. So of course he would be better. Veran smiled and continued his search of Akki, wanting her blood on his knives again. Maybe this time she will scream more. ------------------------------------------------------------ Konta didn’t really care for the Weyr. He was there to keep Rogin safe. There was no reason to be here and it made Konta rather edgy being inside a place full of Dragons and Guards. What was Rogin thinking bringing them here?
At least if Rogin got captured it would have been better leaving Veran back at the cave to protect the rest of the family. There would be no way the girls would rescue them if they were all caught. They were not ready yet. ---------------------------------------------------------- Rogin grinned evilly and Konta was the first to pick it up. The large man was at his side ready for anything. Together the three went toward Kegin. He knew his brother already saw him and that made it more fun. With a start Rogin began to run to him. A knife came to each hand as he descended on his little brother. "I've got you now you little runt." he said.
Kegin rolled to the side and had his own knives in hand. Both stood a few feet from the other. Kegin held the knives in a reverse grip while Rogin held one in reverse the other in a normal forward grip. Kegin didn't fail to notice the nasty edge of the blade. It was made to cut as well as rip the victim. "Why are you here? Why now?" Kegin yelled. He was a bit afraid. Veran and Konta took up on either side of Rogin but in a defensive stance in case any wanted to interfere with this brotherly fight. Veran though was looking for one Woman in particular. One that was his mark. Konta watched everything, his eyes missing nothing. Veran had knives of his own while Konta sported a Club. This fight was not going to be easy even if guards or even dragonriders joined in. Kegin got nervous, he didn’t want anyone else involved or hurt. But this might show everyone what he could really do.

Akki simply wouldn’t be Akki if she didn’t spend the entire feast partying and moving about. It was what people expected of her and she couldn’t let them down, now could she? She spent majority of the night twirling around and chatting everyone up – her typical feast attitude. She hadn’t even returned back to her weyr yet; running off the excitement of the day before. The bluerider was slowly making her way back to her bed now, her hair a little wild looking and her face still flushed a bit.
She wasn’t drunk. At least, not fully. She had drank yesterday and was in that euphoric state where you had enough that you suddenly felt a bit lighter on your feet and became aware of the fact that she couldn’t feel her nose. She could still walk without stumbling, talk without slurring and count up to ten. Those were the things that mattered. Akki picked at the meat roll in her hand and prodded the mental connection that her and Ebbeth had – smiling slightly when she could feel the blue sleeping soundly.
It had been a good night, no one could deny that but by now everyone was tired. She would have been in bed a long time ago if it wasn’t for V’ian coaxing her into a drinking game. She used her spare hand to pick up her dress slightly, not wanting to step on it and fall. The knowledge of the fact that she was getting closer and closer to her bed with every step was quite nice. However, her steps paused slightly when she could hear a commotion of some sort. She frowned slightly, her curiosity piqued. Most people were too tired to be causing any sort of fuss, what was going on? She quickly turned away from her original destination, moving towards the Weyr Bowl.
A nice, lengthy string of curses slipped out of her mouth when she saw what was happening. Her eyes first settled on Kegin before taking notice of the three men around him. Her mouth turned into a not-so-delicate snarl when she took note of Veran. She tossed the meat roll in her hand into the air before catching it again. She tossed it once again, this time hurling it towards Konta’s head. An innocent look was plastered onto her face, her voice becoming rather ditzy-sounding.
“Ahhh, sorry. My hand slipped!”

The renegades were on full alert. Nothing would be able to pass their eyes. Konta saw the meatroll but thought it a knife and took it in the head. If he moved it would have been at Rogin. A small price. But once he realized it was food he glarred at the Owner. His eyes moved over her and he knew that things were amiss. He hefted his club and was about to make his way for her when Veran stopped him. "That one is mine." he said. Veran grinned. he remembered Akki and wasn't going to miss this chance.
"It is a pleasure to see you again. Would you like a roll in the furs? It seems like you just had it with the rest of the weyr. I feel a bit left out." His eyes narrowed and his blades were in his hands. He was in no mood to play. This time while the boy was distracted he would have his way. Veran put long strides in each step as he made his way to her.
Rogin was quite impressed with his brother. Each attack and block was never a waste of effort. But then again Rogin seemed to be quickly gaining the upper hand. He thrust and slashed at his brother only to be knocked away. His anger was beginning to rise. Where Kegin's fighting skills were beautiful to the eyes as much as they were deadly, Rogins would be called brutal in comparison.
The brothers seemed to match each others movements. It seemed like neither had the upper hand. One wrong move and it would surly change. Kegin moved with the twists and turns of a seasoned dancer, moving to and fro with each strike. It seemed to be like a game the way he moved but his eyes and face showed it was no game. he was serious. One or both of them might die in this exchange. Kegin saw only Rogin's blades. nothing seemed to distract him. He growled and yelled out as his knife made it through to slice at Rogin's shoulder. He was aiming for the throat but it would have to do.
The blow wasn't unnoticed by Rogin. He wanted to repay in kind. As they continued it seemed that the longer it went more blood was shed on both combatants. "Looks like I am not the only one scarred this time brother." Kegin bit out scornfully. Rogin only chuckled, "Only a reminder of just how much you deserve to die." he replied. neither would give in.

K'laht was in the Dining Cavern when the attack was going on. His first thought was...
*Kegin!*
K'laht and Kegin has discussed the matter only briefly but he had the gist of it. The blue Weyrling didn't even know who hired the bandits to go after his brother. He cursed under breath. He could fight but not as vicious as these Renegades -or so he heard. He was very curious and ran out of the Dining Cavern and wanted to join but he took one look at Rogin and his blood ran cold. He didn't know who he was but knew he was something not to be reckoned with.
K'laht had never seen an attack, especially one so close to the Weyr. He stood, paralyzed in fear. His mind told him to help his friend but he was too much of a coward. Too afraid to do anything but watch with wide-eyes. He remembered that forest; what was said about it. Someone told him that all who went into that forest, never came out.
His thoughts turned to his friends and the one that escaped and went insane. They had to send him away. He didn't know where he went, thoughts of the innocent being maimed or even killed. Kegin didn't do anything to warrant to the attack. What kind of man would attack another without provocation. Seeing this, he narrowed his eyes and anger rose inside.
This was unfair. Three against one? He was observant and just watched, knowing how inexperienced he was in his fighting skills; he stood there. But how? His friend needed him but again he couldn't risk dying and then his dragon die as well. That would be foolish. He was a brave boy but he knew his ability in the fighting skills weren't -that- good. This feeling of being unjustly picked on constantly was too overbearing. His eyes were cold and unforgiving as he looked on. He was not about to let another get killed but if he helped, he might get seriously hurt or possibly even killed. As the future, he needed to think about his dragon and his welfare, not his.
He sighed as a thought came to his mind. He was the only one who knew about Kegin's brother and the impending danger he tried so hard to avoid. But this, this was unreal. ------------------------
Sh'vian drew her knife and quietly knelt, observing the situation. She narrowed her eyes at the unknown warrior who came on the scene. He was good. Very good. She watched as the the two men attacked each other. She knew Kegin...but the other? She had never seen him before and had moves that she had not seen before.
Sh'vian, in silence, stalked her prey and gave Him a wide birth. Making not a sound, she almost was right on top of Him. She was unaware that there were others.

Konta let Veran have his way, which proved the wiser choice as he noticed another on the scene coming up to Rogin. Konta wouldn't let this slippery tunnelsnake have her way. Konta moved and brought his Club down hard in front of her. "And where do you think you wish to go young one." he said. "This is a battle for the likes of them. No need to interfere. You will only be in the way." Konta watched the Rider. His eyes scanning everything.
Veran moved closer to Akki. "Now then my dear shall we play? I hope the scar I gave you got infected. Oh the pain I would love to watch inflicted on you. But alas it seems to fair well. Now prepare to taste my blades." Veran came low and charged at Akki. But thought he may seem stronger Veran didn't take Akki for granted. His eyes watched her every movement for a sign of a weapon. She seemed slightly drunk.

Akki cocked her head to the side slightly, a coy little smile playing on her lips. One of her hips jutted out slightly as she clasped her hands behind her head and shrugged oh-so casually. “I can’t help it if everyone in the Weyr is my type and you’re not.” She simpered. She knew that she was being dumb – her words would just make him mad. But she didn’t really mind. If she could distract him for long enough then at least there wouldn’t be three on Kegin and that was what mattered. Kegin was a good kid, he didn’t deserve having three burly fellers on him.
“I thought you wanted to roll in the furs, not play.” She snorted as she watched the man come at him. Maybe there was a slight bonus in being drunk. She seemed to be moving without even thinking and maybe that wasn’t so bad right now – it didn’t seem like a good time to over think everything. She quickly moved out of the way but not before the tip of his knife kissed her leg, cutting through the fabric of her dress. Okay, maybe she wasn’t all for this moving without thinking bit. The bluerider quickly bent down and grabbed the dress where it ripped and yanked it, the fabric ripping it so suddenly her dress was at knee-length.
“That,” She said with a frown, “Was my favorite dress.”. It was her only green dress too! Ugh, that was just infuriating. She glared at Veran for a second before nodding to his blades. “I’m not armed. Aren’t you at least man enough to fight fair? Ditch the weapons.”

Sh'vian jumped at the club that the large man had slammed in front of her. She followed the Club up his arm and her eyes got big when they landed on his face. She gasped in shock and fear. Sh'vian slowly got up and backed away.
------------------------ K'laht was still there up on a hill watching the rivalry battle between to two. He was close enough to see the two fight but not too close that he would be seen, at least he didn't think so. He sighed as he was torn between helping his friend or staying put. He promised Falienhth he would just watch. Not knowing he was he was so, he inched his way forward. To get a closer look...he had never seen this man before or the way he fought was almost refreshing. It was a different style. A style he wanted to learn.
K'laht watched every move He made, learning by sight. He mimicked His moves almost to a tee. That's how he learned. Visual and Action.

[Interested in jumping in with at least one character. If dragons start talking about trouble going on K'ris might join in too, but for now I'm just gonna throw Tanwen in. It'll be a short entrance, and then I'll just wait for something to react to xD; ]
Tanwen had woken up a bit earlier than usual and she'd decided to go for a bit of a walk. Her Vessayith had stirred at one point, but she'd made sure to get the dragonet back to sleep so she'd be plenty rested for weyrling training later. The weyrling made her way down the hall and ended up in the Weyrbowl area. She walked in just in time to see a man charge at Akki with a knife. Instantly her muscles tensed and her senses were on full alert. Unlike a few of the others who were keeping hidden [no, she cant' see them, just me acknowledging everyone there] Tanwen kept walking.
She kept her pace calm, and though she was alert her movements seemed loose, as if she were just continueing her morning stroll. She didnt' know Akki super well, but she'd been living at the weyr long enough to at least be acquainted; she also knew the other one, Kegin, from when he stood at the recent hatching. Despite her usually semi-unsociable attitude towards some, Tanwen made her way to the bluerider and gave a smile, as if there was nothing wrong with the situation. "Hello Akki," she said, coming to stand beside her and looking over at the man with the knife. "Making friends?"

Veran grinned at Akki's remark. "That is too bad about your dress. It seems only fitting that it looks as ragged as you." he chuckled and began moving around her. He was going to say more when another woman showed up. "So you do make friends? Or is she just another one of your many tastes. No matter, she will be either a toy or a target. The choice really is up to you. Why don't we go somewhere more private to continue our little meeting." His eyes were already showing his lust for blood and pain. he wanted to have his fun.
Konta looked at the dragon but didn't without budging. "Keep moving creature and I will see that it ends. Keep your rider on her leash." He glarred at the large beast and was ready for anything from claw, tooth or tail. He wasn't going to let them ruin Rogin's fun. He looked at the Rider to make sure she stayed put. "Are you going to be a good lass or will I need to indent your head on me club."
Kegin was beginning to tire. he decided to switch up into a more relaxed stance to be able to rest between attacks. To stood straight moving the blades into a normal grip. He took deep slow breaths to calm his beating heart. What will he do. It seems Konta and Veran both had targets as well. he saw the greenrider and sighed. "Sh'vian run. I can handle myself. He won't interfere. This one wants me all to himself. Think of the safety of your dragon." he said.
Rogin chuckled and looked at Konta's target. He saw the dragon but knew the large man could handle himself. Rogin took a breath and noticed his brothers new stance. He saw the sweat on his face growing. (So kegin is tired.) he thought. Rogin whistled and Spike came screeching at Kegin's face. Kegin wasn't surprised. he knew the tactic well since it was used often. he began to dodge and swat at the flit. A few bites landed before he was able to hit the lizard away. Rogin charged and tackled his brother. the knives were lost in the roll around, sand covering them.
Veran looked at Akki closely still, "You take me for a fool. Trying to play on my pride. Oh no rider I have no intention of discarding my weapons. be you female or not you are still a rider. Never should you be trusted. I suppose this one is as well. Most a newly impressed maybe. Think of your dragon young one and run off. hide under your furs and pray I don't come to you later in the night." Veran chuckled but his eyes were serious.

Akki smiled at Tanwen and rested her elbow on the girls shoulder – and all too relaxed pose considering everything that was going on. “I’ve never been good at making friends the proper way.” She sighed wistfully, her smile almost looking a little bit sorrowful. It was actually quite true too – she was seemingly incapable of just introducing herself to someone and becoming their friend that way.
She casually let her eyes wander back to Veran, “She’s a friend and a treat. I hope you’re not getting jealous.” She watched Kegin for a moment before smiling politely at Veran once again, “No need to continue this meeting.” Akki paused and shrugged, “I already said you’re not quite my type’. She idly took some strands of hair and twisted it around her finger, her thoughts churning. The bluerider was distinctly aware she didn’t stand all that good of a chance; she was suddenly regretting that drinking game with her brother.
A snort slipped out of her mouth. “Her furs are too good for you.” She grinned crookedly before adding, “A man who’s too cowardly to throw down his weapons? They’re never good in bed.” Her eyes weren’t all too focused at this point; she was concentrating on sending her emotions to Sargon – carefully blocking Ebbeth out. If she just get her stupid flitter to understand that he needed to fetch V’ian, then things might be a little better. Akki didn’t like the idea of these guys going after candidates or weyrlings (Especially one on one), V’ian at least was somewhat strong from being a rider and he had Waeith.
Though she didn’t particularly want to see the bronze getting involved – she would never forgive herself if he got hurt.

[Hey Mcneo, Could you maybe put a simple -- break or something between your different characters? It's a tiny bit confusing when you're posting as so many without any differentiation.]
Tanwen quirked an eyebrow at the 'toy or target' comment. Was the man really that dense? She understood that she didn't look exactly like a fully-armed-warrior or anything, but if the man was attacking an entire Weyr he must at least have SOME idea of how to fight. She wasn't about to tip him off on his underestimation though; even if she was mildly drunk, Akki's bantering with him was apparently putting him even more off-guard. If he was expecting nothing of a fight? Well, all the worse for him.
Instead of joining in on the bantering, Tanwen kept quiet for the most part. She let Akki lean against her shoulder, but hoped that if she had to move quickly the bluerider wouldn't be so off balance that she'd fall over without the support. If it did come to a fight, as of right now, she had a feeling she'd have to at least partially defend for both of them. "I have thought of my dragon," she replied simply enough to the renegade. "I made sure she was tucked quietly in and resting for training later before I left." Keeping an opponent talking was always a fair strategy, especially when in such a populated place (at least, when the large population was on your side). Maybe enough others would show up that the renegades would realize the stupidity in attacking a Weyr, and leave without much of a fight.

Veran chuckled a bit. he caught Akki's look. "I see you are worried about your only friend. Don't worry. I am sure his brother will take good care of him. Maybe later you can even bury what is left of that whelp. kegin doesn't seem to have long to live I believe. he already has much injury." He grinned and chuckled again. Then his eyes moved to Tanwen and his smile faded. Something about her was off. "I am no fool. I know a rider learns to fight. That is why I am still armed. I will not take my chances thinking you won't call for a dragon or flit. I am the wiser." he said. He moved low and charged at them once more. his blades ready to taste the flesh of the women. ------------------------------------ Rogin continued his attack on his brother. Both began to tire from the shifting sand impeding on their foot movements. "You will die this time dear brother. I will see to that. Now why don't you stop this and accept your fate." Rogin snarled and punched Kegin square in the face. ----------------------------------- Kegin cried out in pain this time. He felt his arm beginning to numb. As he was pushed back he tripped over a mound of sand, causing him to fall to his back. At least he was still able to defend just in case. Rogin didn't miss anything as he jumped onto Kegin. Both rolled and grabbed at each other. Blood was dropping from Kegin's nose. It may even be broken. Kegin was able to rise his knee to knock Rogin over him. Kegin stood and was about to attack back. --------------------------------- Rogin felt himself roll over and his hand ended up hitting metal. It seemed one of their knives found itself with him. As he stood he clutched the knife, hiding it in his hand. The other was a handful of sand.

”What’s with this obsession of my friends? Are you lonely or something? Annoyed that you don’t have any?” Akki snorted with a slight sneer playing on her lips as she ran a hand through her long hair. The bluerider was vaguely hoping to get the conversation to keep going – with every moment she could feel herself sobering up slightly. Adrenaline and situations as messed up as this one tended to sober someone up rather quickly. She let her hand fall out of her hair and settle back down onto her hip.
“I’d say the only person being buried is you buuuuut.” She drawled out the last word, offering him a sympathetic smile, “You don’t really deserve a burial.” Her sympathetic smile turned into a small, cocky one though. He wouldn’t take his chances? With one small mental nudge, Akki could awake Ebbeth and the blue beast would be in a fury if he saw what was going down. It was tempting to wake Ebbeth, the dragon could easily help put an end to this but she didn’t trust him enough to know that he would just chase them away. He’d probably rip Veran apart.
Actually, that didn’t sound too bad right now.
When he charged once more, Akki quickly stopped leaning on Tanwen. She slightly shoved the girl with her shoulder, not hard enough to make her fall or anything but just a nudge. It was definitely easier to move around in the dress now that she didn’t have to worry about tripping on the fabric. The blade once again touched her leg for a split second, cutting just a little bit underneath the other cut. “Shall we show them that Dark Moon girls play tough?” She shot at Tanwen with a quick grin.

"Weyrlings lessons teach you a lot - but they don't teach you how to fight," Tanwen replied to the man just before he readied himself to charge forward. As soon as Akki was no longer leaning against her shoulder, she hadn't needed to give Tanwen a shove at all. In the same moment that Akki nudged against Tanwen's shoulder, the young rider was turning in a quick spin out of the way of the charging man, stepping off with her outer foot mid-spin. Just after the knife kissed against Akki's leg, Tanwen would finish her spin while bringing her leg around falling into a crouch in the same moment. Her leg would sleep just a few inches off the ground, fingers balancing herself in the sand of the Weyrbowl, and the sweeping motion of her leg would be aimed to attempt and knock the man off his feet.
Not a moment after she finished the complete spin, Tanwen was back up in full stance, taking a few quick steps to end standing just next to Akki - it was generally best to stick by your allie in a fight. The weyrling looked to the bluerider when she spoke, giving a grin that matched Akki's own and a quick nod before turning her attention to their opponent once more. "Let's dance."

Veran looked at the girls and took a deep breath. It seemed now was not the right time to be stubborn. He was able to avoid the leg that came at him but it was too close to his liking. Veran stood straight. He wasn't in the mood to play any longer. He put the blades back in his belt and looked at Akki. "You were the one who asked for this. Do not blame me for the outcome." There was no sarcasm in his voice. His eyes were set and steeled. His whole demeanor changed. Instead of charging as before Veran began to walk to the women.
Even in walking his form remained graceful. First he needed to take out the younger woman. Then he could focus on Akki. There wasn't much time left. When he was a good three paces away is when he struck. His body flowed into the attack. An arm coming up, aiming for Tanwan's chin, while his body rotated to bring a leg at Akki's midsection. Veran enjoyed brutality and thought fighting this way was too girly, but sadly it was a way he was masterful in.

Sh'vian charged Rogin, while keeping an eye on the large man. She intended to subdue Him and keep him from further causing young Kegin harm.
"I interrupted your bout. Question is what are you going to do about it?" she said mockingly to Rogin. A smug look on her face. --------------------- K'laht heard his friend's pain and put aside what his dragon said. He screamed in fury and rushed Rogin! He jumped in the air. His target was His left side. He drew his knife and positioned it to where it was blade first pointing toward His stomach. ------------- Sh'vian looked up in horror as she heard the battle cry.
"No!!! Think of your dragon, young one!" but of course it was too late. K'laht was already in mid action. Rogin was sure to react and it would not be pretty. Of course, K'laht and Sh'vian had no idea who they were dealing with but they would soon find out.

A fight in the weyrbowl and someone wouldn't notice? Certainly not a certain bronze who had nothing better to do. Gerenanth had been watching the bowl from above while he sunned and while G'han had been washing up after his usual morning work out.
Mine. I believe your friends are in trouble. Gerenanth was quick to warn the wingleader. Wait. What? G'han asked very confused while he got dressed. He was going to gather his wing for drills. By now he had been in his position long enough that his wing had expected to be ready for drills right about now. It looks like a scuffle down below. You may want to get down there and get things under control.
Fine, fine. But go ahead and warn the rest of my wing and get them to spread the word. Who knows how badly this could break out after last night. Plenty of still-drunks to start a massive brawl. G'han put on his last boot and walked out his weyr. In the meantime, Gerenanth contacted the dragons of his wing and any others he could think of.
Fellow dragons, G'hanmine has gone to break up a fight but fears it may get out of hand, being so soon after the feast. Any that can assist are appreciated. The bronze sent out the warning to his wing and he was sure to add in Kaith, the new weyrleader, Ebbeth, and others. Even V'ian's dragon was included in this. The bronze didn't expect a big turn out for a simple brawl, but he was sure there'd be a few who would want to assist and be sure this didn't turn out anything worse than what the bronze thought was a drunken brawl. Being that he saw Akki was down there, a drunken brawl was possible.
G'han walked out into the weyrbowl and approached the man, Veran, that was going after Akki and another girl. Wasn't she one of the weyrlings? Tanwen or something? When he was close enough, he threw a rock at precise aim directed at Veran's head. "Hey pal. Back off", G'han shouted.
He had left his riding jacket off, though he was ready to put it on to ride Gerenanth. These guys had upset G'han's plans. He wasn't too happy about that. Now he was picking on Akki? Not a smart move. He had on a short-sleeved shirt and the experience of his well-toned muscles showed. He looked over to Akki as he cracked his knuckles. "You starting more drunken brawls right after a feast again? Shame shame Akki. I thought you had learned from last time", G'han mock fussed at Akki.
He turned his attention back to Veran. "I suggest you disperse and leave this weyr. I've had plenty of time to warn the lot of the weyr. I see your face around here again and you'll be scraping it off the ground", G'han spoke up, clearly unthreatened by the man. Even if the wingleader knew he was a renegade, it wouldn't have threatened him. He had trained to fight all his life and now he was experienced enough to teach others. He had taken out plenty of renegades before, they would have been no different to him. Whether they thought they were special or not.
G'han stood ready, closer to Veran now so that he could beat the mess out of him if he tried to lay another hand on Akki or Tanwen again. He wasn't in the mood to play around. These guys already postponed his wing's drills with their antics.

Akki couldn’t dodge, not this time. The man moved quickly that there simply was no pause for her to react. The blow was a good hefty one too, Akki stumbled and tripped on a rock or something equally unfortunate and hit the ground, bum first. She looked up and grinned at Tanwen, “He’s starting to annoy me, let’s wrap this up.” She pushed herself off of the ground, getting ready for whatever attack might be thrown next but her attention was sidetracked for a moment when a newcomer to the fight – G’han.
“Sorry G’han. I just never learn.” She sniffed and shrugged. If G’han was here that probably meant that his dragon informed everyone. It was hard to contain her sigh of relief. Thank Faranth that Ebbeth had learned over the turns to block out Gerenanth when he was sleeping! She looked away from Veran for a moment. One of the renegades was occupied with the dragon but Kegin was still in danger. She watched with horror as a new weyrling practically threw himself at Rogin. There wasn’t much she could do though. If she tried to move to help out, Veran would stop her. Akki could only hope that this mysterious greenrider could assist the two boys. She winced; stuff like this wasn’t supposed to happen! Not right after a feast! She turned to G’han and said in a low voice, “I’m calling dibs on Veran.” She looked away from her bronzerider friend and smiled politely at the renegade,
“Just wanted to let you know that even if you slither away like some pathetic tunnelsnake? Ebbeth and I? Will hunt you down.”

Talavi was at the edge of the forest, watching the boys. Remembering what Rogin had said to her the night before, she sighed and shook her head. She could help but He strictly forbade it ever happening this time around. She could fight.....why would He let her? She watched in silence as the boys had their fun. She missed Veran. Sometimes she thought she could have him all to herself but....how Veran was that was next to impossible.
Talavi thought best to return home before she was discovered. He climbed a trees and jumped from tree to tree back to their hideout and into Veran's cave. She sighed and was worried about the rest of them. First time ever, she cried. Crying out of frustration, out of worry and she was scared. Scared in general.
Her thoughts turned to her whip. She grabbed it and started to train herself on how to use it. She was still angry about what happened in Exile. Rogin had his reasons as to why and who was she to question him? She wished that Tiaholt was here to watch. She hasn't seen her yet. Was she hidden? All of a sudden, she felt alone.

Veran chuckled and grinned. "I am not one to run from a fight. Nor am I fool enough to turn my back." His eyes moved over the new man. He was something of a bother. "As you can see Akki can handle herself, so please leave us to our confrontation and you be on your way. You are thoroughly not wanted here." Veran got ready again, "Now then why don't you show me some of your spirit Rider." he said to Akki. He was beginning to have a bit of fun with her. Tanwan still needed to be dealt with. he hadn't forgotten her. -------------------- Out of the darkness came fur and fury. Ferik charged and tackled K'laht midair to the ground. The Canine was used to dealing with blades so avoiding it wasn't the problem. He bit the arm that held the blade and continued to shake his head to get the boy to release the knife. Konta whistled and the canine released the boy and attacked the greenrider. --------------------------------------- Kegin looked at the two that came to safe him. He let out a weak smile, "K'laht run.....I can handle this." he said. He stood confident, not seeing his brother still having a blade. He was beginning to worry his friends would be hurt.
